I've been a fan of the previous Hyperion because I really like the lightweight and thin soles. I wasn't sure I was going to like the new model, but I was a fan the moment I put them on. I'm still early days but did a few 10ks in them and will be looking to train up to marathon. They are very light and still give me the feel of the road that I so liked in the previous ones. It's so much easier to run faster in them too! They feel slightly roomier than the previous model. I'd prefer it snugger, but I don't think it's a material difference.

These are the best dry weather road running shoes I have used. I cross train with the adrenaline and catamount shoes, and like feel of these for dry fast runs. I am excited to use them for standing around once I get enough miles on them: They feel so good on the feet.

Hyperion Tempo is by far, the best running shoe I have had since 2010. I'm am intermediate runner, I've ran lots of half marathons and four marathons (my Marathon PR is 3h34m). Usually run about 4 times a week about 35-50kms. I've tried 4 other brands in the same price range, but NONE, ever, accomplished what Hyperion Tempo has accomplished. Lightweight, perfect fit, flexible, simple (not plated or high tech specs), great midsole, and the outsole with 330kms still have ZERO wearing at sight. Great for rain (it does not get soaked and dries out quickly). Great job Brooks. Keep all the good things for next version. Cheers Pedro

Fast, comfortable, light, still plenty of cushion and support. My go to for "tempo" training but works great for medium runs as well!

This shoe has the characteristics I like. Lightweight, fast and comfortable. It fits nice, roomy in the toe area but secure in the midfoot and heel. It has a good sole height and cushion, not too low and thin that your feet feel hammered but not too thick, soft, slow and unstable. It is nice that I do not feel like it is trying to catapult my foot from some midfoot shank or cam shaped bottom. The only negative, in my opinion, is the heel color. I am not very fond of the light blue, but it could be worse.

This shoe should be the staple for Brooks. It's extremely light and has a great amount of "pop" when you pick up the pace. I bought them to train for a marathon, and I'll likely wear these in the marathon instead opting for a carbon plated shoe.

This is one of the most fantastic shoes I've ever used. You can use it for your tempo training, long runs, or any other kind of training you want, and it's a good option for race day too. The DNA Flash is a fantastic midsole, with a good amount of cushioning and energy return, and the upper fits perfectly. I hope Brooks will not make any radical changes in the future models of this shoe.

Because of the way my feet are formed I would need a wide in my size to be 100% satisfied. I do feel lighter on my feet

My new favorite shoe. I've been looking for the perfect running shoe for the heavier runner like myself. I'm 6'2" and 200lbs so its hard to find the right shoe for good support that is light enough to run fast. The Hyperion Tempo delivered. It's stupid light and has phenomenal support with that great springiness to push you forward every stride. Will buy many more of these.

Very light but supportive shoe - the cushion seems superior - not too soft like others I've tried - so I'm happy about that as I'm 205 lbs not a lightweight - some cushiony shoes are too cushiony for my size and weight.

Absolutely love these shoes. They love to go fast, well as fast as I can get them going. They just feel better the more speed you put into them. I rotate Ghost 13, Revel 4, and these Tempo for my runs. True to size. I have 5k, 10k, and a half marathon races in them. Fantastic shoes.

This is now my second pair of the Hyperion Tempo's! I love their bounce and how light they are! I had the black for my first pair (used for 800 miles...probably too many :P ) and got the white as my second so I could be seen better during those dark winter night runs. Well made! I average 15-22 miles/week

This is the first Brooks shoe I have REALLY loved. I've tried 3-4 other models, and didn't really like any of them but this one is great! So light and fast! Looking forward to trying the Carbon Fiber model after training in these. These are the real deal, so comfortable, such a great ride!

The Hyperion Tempo is quite possibly the best all-around training shoe I have ever worn. Cushioned enough for long runs, light enough for tempo runs and responsive enough for speed work. If I could have only one shoe for all my training, this would be it!

OUTSTANDING!! First 4 mile run out of the box was "NIRVANA" from both a comfort and responsiveness standpoint. What I noticed immediately was my cadence increased 4 - 5 SPM from normal at the same effort. It felt effortless to go faster without expending extra energy. Fit for me is perfect and true to size. Am a big Asteria fan (Asteria has been discontinued), was worried I couldn't find another light and stable 5k - 10k Brooks racing flat. Although neutral, this shoe has very good inherent stability, and the extra cushion and responsiveness, as well as lower weight, makes me feel like my next PR is coming soon. BRAVO BROOKS!!!

Love them. Came from the Glycerin and feared I'd beat myself up in these ultralights, but they have cushion and spring. Fit like a glove. Just a revelation. And I loved the Glycerins. Only critique might be the laces. Kinda stretchy and awkward to tie. Not an issue.

Great shoe: light weight, simple design with thin slightly stretchy upper -- perfect for hot, humid climates. Also, it notably doesn't have an excessive elfish heel collar nor excessive or garish overlaps, like we see on so many other running shoes these days. The quality of the construction is par excellence.
