Really lightweight shoe, that offers more lateral stability than expected. I?ve run about 30 miles in these shoes now, and they are by far, the best shoes I?ve had in a while. I wouldn?t recommend wearing these in wet conditions, as they don?t provide much traction beyond what a pool noodle could offer, or for hiking, as I can?t imagine them working all that well on uneven surfaces, but for dry and flat conditions, these shoes are exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, the heel drop is just right. I don?t feel like I?m running barefoot, nor do I feel like I?m wearing something too elevated in the heel. I run faster in these than my Pegasus, and I feel less fatigued on longer runs. I?ve been experiencing some back pain, during and after my runs for a few years now, but these shoes are limiting this more than I ever anticipated. Please keep making these. They are the shoes I?ve been looking for, for so long. I?m a 43 year old active male, who runs about 40 miles a month and broke my Achilles 3 years ago. They run true to size.

I liked this light shoes. Give me energy bounce back and confidence in training mode. Would pair this with my hyperion elite 2, one for training(hyperion tempo) and one for running events(hyperion elite2).

My favorite pair of Brooks! I've run Ghosts, Levitates, and Glyserines and the Hyperion Tempo is by far my favorite pair of Brooks. Three key reasons: low heel to toe drop, light weight, and durability. Most brooks are high drop, (12-14mm) which isn't my favorite altho I've made it work for years. The 8mm drop on these feels great! I put just under 400 miles on my pair and I think they could take another hundred before really wearing thru. Even up around 400 miles, the upper and laces are totally Intact, despite numerous rain snow and sleet runs. The tread is worn but there is still plenty of grip. Even the insoles have not work thru. I run a mix of paved and dirt roads and treadmills thru all four seasons and high salt air off the Maine coast. Bottom line is these shoes are a beast. Just ordered my second pair and can't wait to break em in!

My favorite fast trainer to date. Brooks, if you're listening, don't mess with the upper for V2, maybe 1-2mm of extra stack height, but apart from that, it's awesome!

By no means am I a seasoned runner (I just do it from time to time for cardio), but I was having a bit of trouble with shin splints and knee pain. I self-diagnosed bad running shoes as the source and bought the Brooks Hyperion Tempo shoes to replace my old ones. The shoes fit true to size, they are light, well-cushioned, comfortable, and they look great! Even better, I was able to run without pain! Brooks definitely did not disappoint with these shoes.

My husband is pleased with this shoe. He says they are comfortable and adds a spring to his step when he runs.

Light, comfortable and fast shoe. For me it will be a great shoe for a 10k or less. I try a new shoe every once in a while but I always go back to the Ghost which is still the best shoe for me.

One of my favorites. I now have 34 miles on my new Hyperion Tempo. So, I feel it is safe to say, I believe these are one of my fastest Brooks. The fit feels true to size, and I would not think twice about purchasing another pair.

This shoe is light, fast and provides just enough "pop" to power my speed work. I raced a half marathon in these yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Buy this shoe!

It?s a fast shoe, feels great on my feet, and responds well to what ever I put them through. Great for speed work, tempos, and long runs!

Brooks Hyperion is a great jogging shoe! Light and fast, for those days you feel like picking up the pace. They have light/medium cushioning and a seemless springy action which makes you want to pick up the pace. I am not exactly in the right shape for these shoes and they still feel great!
Brooks has something for everyone. I personally enjoy their Ghost line which offers great medium/high cushioning and great response making them a must have trainer shoe.
Brooks Glycerine are also a great choice, and they offer the best high/extra high cushioning. A little overweight, getting started, or getting back into jogging after a long break? These shoes are very forgiving on your feet, knees, and back, they have lots of cushioning without making you feel too sluggish, and they have a very sporty look and feel.

I also use Brooks Glycerine. This shoe is great if you are overweight, starting to jog, or getting back to jogging after a long time, these shoes offer the best cushioning and are very foregiving for your feet, knees, and back. Once you get back into the rythm of things I would definetly go back to Brooks Ghosts for regular training though.
Run Happy!!!!

While I've only run twice in the Hyperion Tempo (one easy day, one tempo, both hovering around 10-11 miles each), I can say they are responsive but in a way I do not necessarily realize until I look at my pace, which on average seems to be anywhere between 10-15 seconds a mile faster than what I normally see when comparing recent runs/heart rate efforts. You can feel the road a bit in a good way and by no means are they uncomfortable. Style wise, the grey/black/nightlife color is certainly sharp (imo). So long as they remain comfortable as I break them in further, I can see myself picking up a second pair. Lastly, size wise, they fit me true to size as I'm an 11 in both Hoka One One (Clifton 7) and New Balance (FuelCell).

Shoes are fine. Laces are flimsy - they lack body, make tying trying - will have to be replaced.

Amazing shoes. I wanted a lightweight speed shoe to complement my multiple pairs of Ghosts. These are my new favorite racing shoes. The balance of all the features gives an incredible experience. Ran a PR for a mile and 2 miler already and it's my first day with these! Thanks Brooks for a Dream Shoe!

Love these new Brooks sneakers. They feel light on my feet but offer ample support in the heel and mid-sole. I will but these again. I will size up another 1/2 for my next pair, as they are a touch snug in the toe -- but I am fine with the ones I have and will not return them.

I run 90-100 miles a month. 5?11?? 180 lbs. I have a neutral foot strike. These are my new go to shoes for tempo runs and intervals. They are very lightweight and responsive while still providing just the right amount of cushion. I previouslyhad New Balance 890s that were amazingly comfy for tempo/interval runs, but they didn?t last 200 miles. I wear a ghost or glycerin for long runs (10-13 mi) because they provide a little more cushion.

Great shoe. Ran 400 miles in them and now wear them daily. I will buy them or the next version for the next Marathon training.
