These shoes fit well, but were uncomfortable to wear. There seems to be a big ridge underneath the ball of the foot. It is okay standing still, but pushes hard against the bottom of my foot when walking. Will be returning them :(

I bought these to help with my pronation, these shoes combined with my prescription orthotics are extremely comfortable. I wore these on a 10 day National Park tour and walked/hiked eight to ten miles a day. (Next time I will get proper hikers, while these are great they are not meant for hiking.)

The widest part of my foot oozed over the sole of the shoe. Not comfy as the Ghost style.

material felt a little stiff, not as comfortable as my Brooks Glycerin.

No lateral support, not cushy. overall, not as supportive as reported. less than moderate arch support.

I love the shoe and the fit! The color is excellent! I got the charcoal gray and mauve sole. Great for fall & winter! However I had 19s last and really liked the cross design over the big toe area to keep toe from coming through the mesh! ????? Otherwise an excellent shoe!

Really helps keep my flat feet from pronating. Super lightweight so easy on your feet and great for travel. I took off a star because I'd like a little more padding, may add a green Spenco. Walked 5 miles in them one day with friends along paved roads, after being ill and not getting out much, and my feet were pretty happy. A little more padding would have been nice as I mentioned (I have fibromyalgia, so sometimes the soles of my feet hurt), but overall a great shoe. My friend's husband, who had surgery on both knees after a bad accident was wearing the same sneakers and swears by them. Not very stylish, wish they offered some fun colors, but a good basic sneaker.

The Adrenaline is a nice shoe. I prefer the Ghost due to better support. I will keep them for everyday use, but will note that I prefer more support. The ball of my foot has less support in the Adrenaline.

I have only wore them a few hours and they feel likr your walking on clouds so cofy.

I have wide flat feet (nice, right? ?), and do a cardio workout six times a week which includes a lot of lateral moves. I've been a New Balance wearer for years but haven't been happy and wanted a change. These felt amazing when I put them on, but not too long after I put them on there was a digging feeling in my ankles, which got worse during the lateral moves. I do overpronate but not roo much, so maybe these are offering too much support. Or maybe they're not meant for lateral moves. I'll give it a few days, but sadly will probably end up returning them. Many of you said they're ugly, they've got nothing on New Balance in the ugly department!

Just worn around the house but are very comfy with excellent arch support. I don’t think I will need my orthotics with these. This particular shoe was recommended by my podiatrist. Great look as well. They do seem slightly smaller than my previous pair though. Maybe the old ones are stretched out a little? Anyway, I really like them.

I ordered 11N and 11.5N, and the 11.5 fit perfectly and was very comfortable, with an important exception. There is a curved bar on the outside of the shoe just below the ankle, and it painfully jammed up against my ankle bone when I walked. A deal breaker in these otherwise perfectly fitting shoes. Oh well.

Why size up? A size 8 in this model is just a tad longer and wider in the toe box than the Ghost 13 in a size 8 (I'm a 7.5-8.0 in street shoes and all my Brooks have been 8s). Also, if you're unsure if the shoe is right for you (this goes for all models), try more than one pair - what a difference among them! Some soft and cushioned, others harder or with variation in arch support. Quality control is clearly amiss - especially with the Ghost 13.

I have a narrow heel so don't like to "walk" out of my shoes. This is the first time I have seen a tapered tongue on a pair of shoes and think it is a ridiculous design when you need a solid fit across the top of your foot. Zeros to that designer.

I have been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline shoes for almost 20 years. They are a great shoe! I generally wear an 8 in regular dress shoes, but size up to 8.5 wide in these in order to have a little extra room in the toe box. Every year they tweak the fit a little bit, and usually it doesn’t bother me. However this 21 model seems to have a higher, or more rigid, “collar” around the ankle and it is putting uncomfortable pressure on the inside of my ankle on one foot. I am hoping it will soften up and I am experimenting with the lacing on that side. I am thankful for Zappos 30 day running shoe policy so I can try it out for awhile. I’m really hoping to be able to keep them because I really like the colors on this shoe (white with a light aqua and light orange trim), as not all colors are available in wide width. Also because after all this time I don’t want to have to find a new brand/style of running shoes.

I generally do well with Brooks. This is the second pair of the same shoe I am returning. There is something hitting my ankle that makes it very uncomfortable. I will try other Brooks styles. Always looking for support for an over pronator.

So I’ve pretty much been an ASICS girl since 2014 when Brooks revamped the Adrenalines and they were short and wide on me. But after a few misses with the Kayanos and GT 2000’s I decided to give Brooks another try. I got my normal size but they were large on me. Wide and sloppy fit. A bit too long. And these were narrows. But the firmness on the sole was great and the ride was really good especially since I’ve been suffering from sciatica and I’m a fitness walker. I returned them and ordered a half size smaller. They fit more like narrows and the length is a tad short but the arch is in the right place. I wore them right out of box yesterday for a 3 mile walk. I think the mesh will stretch soon. They’re pretty comfortable but I wish the sizing on all athletic shoes was more standardized. It’s so frustrating to have to shop around each year. Once I find a shoe and size that works for me I don’t want to do another search a year later. The color is okay. Gray with pale blue accents. More choices for narrows would be great.

I absolutely love the look and color of this version of Adrenalines (I got the copper/alloy/hushed violet). I've been buying Brooks Adrenaline or Ghosts for running for over a decade now. These are not quite as comfortable as some earlier models. They seem a little stiff and the sides of the shoe come up higher on my ankles. I haven't worn them to run yet, only for day-to-day, but I'm hoping they won't rub and create a blister....they're just too pretty for me to return!

Thank You Zappos!! After many tries an failures , I decided to stray away from ASICS an boy am I glad I did!! I’ve plantar fasciitis an there are by far the best ones I could of gotten. So far, so good!!

Usually wear ASICS bc they carry narrow but found these in narrow. Love them. Very comfy tons of support

Once I adjusted the laces to be a bit less snug they felt comfortable. These remind me of the Adrenaline 18's. Not as much cushion as the 19s

Nice wide toe box with flexible fabric. Rest of the shoe runs narrow. The topline/collar? comes up higher than most Brooks.

I have been wearing Ghost 11's for the last two years and needed a new pair. There color choices for Ghost 13's are limited in wides, so I read some reviews and decided to try the Adrenaline 21's. I wore them around the house for about an hour and the bottom of my heels hurt. I thought it might be a coincidence and wore them for my run. I ran less than a half mile and the heel pain was unbearable. I am returning the Adrenaline's and ordering a pair of Ghost's (in a blah color).

Doesn’t seem like any cushion on the ball of my feet. After walking, my feet hurt especially the ball of my foot. Disappointed .

This shoe felt narrower than the Ghost 13 that I currently am wearing. There also didn’t feel like there was as much support. I am going to try the Ghost 14.
