You sent me shoes that were already worn! The soles were dirty and there was pilling around the heel.
It looks like you just accepted the previous return and sent it to me.
I really hope you do not do that to the next customer.

The overall fit, width and support are superior; however, the fabric of the shoe doesn't last. My husband insist that Brooks are the only shoes for him. But within two months of wear, the last three pairs of Brooks develop a hole in the top of the shoe. the hole begins in one of the oval slits in the pattern of the fabric. Why in the world don't they use a solid fabric that's more durable! We are at the mercy of the company, because very few men's running shoes come in a Narrow width for my husband.

Quite simply, these shoes are painful to run in, or even to wear walking. I've been using Brooks GTS shoes since 2003 & the 21s have been the worst. Sold as "softer & plusher" they feel hard compared to my GTS20s & since using them I've had pains in my heel & big toes. It feels like they're forgeries, but I got them from a Brooks store. I stuck with them, hoping it was a Breaking In issue, but they didn't get any better. SOMETHING has been done to the heel area, I don't know what, but it's dreadful. I've had to take several weeks off running & my GTS21s are now relegated to everyday wear & yet even just walking around in them they still hurt my feet in the same places. I found a pair of unused GTS20s still in their box & haven't had any trouble with them, although it'll be a while before my feet heel up enough to put on some milage. Hopefully the 2022 version will be better.

Sizing is way off. I’m a woman with large, wide feet. The Adrenaline GTS 21 fits me perfectly in women’s size 11EE. Per Brooks’ own website, I should order 1.5 sizes smaller if ordering a men’s size. Could barely get my foot into the men’s 9.5 EE. The men’s 10EE is the right length for me but considerably narrower than the women’s 11EE.
Men’s shoes are usually wider than women’s, that’s not the case here at all. My husband is a men’s 13EE, these would never fit him in that size. None of this would be an issue if shoe companies used logical sizing based on the actual length of the shoe or foot (so if it’s 10 inches long, it’s a size 10, genius right?)
Pictured is a men’s Adrenaline GTS 21 size 10EE in black next to a women’s Adrenaline GTS 21 size 11EE in gray. Same approximate length but visibly narrower forefoot area.

They sent two right feet shoes, one was a double 10ee as ordered and the other a 10med. The double ee seems like it would be comfortable but unfortunately have to return it since I only have one right foot.

My feet have multiple problems. Plantar fasciitis, a bunion, and some peripheral neuropathy. I’ve found these to work right out of the box , with my preferred insoles. I used to wear women’s 10.5 but not now I need men’s 10.5 wide. These are all I can wear. Thanks!

Brooks have been the brand that worked best for my feet, but I’m done buying Brooks… this pair has lasted 8 weeks before the sides have worn through. Less than 100 miles on these shoes and already ruined. What a joke.

Nice fit...but quality has gone way way down! I have bought brooks every year now for the last about 9 years. Sadly, their quality has gotten extremely cheap. After only four months of walking about 3 miles every other day the bottoms are worn thin. The insides have two holes and a hole on the outside where the big toe is. My wife too has noticed this too, each year the quality has really decreased substantially. They give a nice outward appearance but sadly are out to get your money by making them so cheap now.

Hi. I've been buying Adrenaline since 2015 and I've never really had any issues with the different designs that occur every year (though I thought GTS 19 were far too chunky). I got the GTS 21 about 2 weeks, I've ran about 60 miles and I have a similar issue to an another reviewer regarding the toe box. It has essentially caved in and sneakers are now very uncomfortable to run. I was hoping to use the GTS 21 for a marathon in November but will need look elsewhere. All other aspects of the sneaker were fine.

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenalines for years and years. I bought this latest model, wore them for four miles and came home limping. The tongue is missing the padding that protects the front of the ankle. I hope the store refunds my money so I can try another brand. Sorry Brooks, I used to love your Adrenalines.

I switched from a competing support shoe to the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 because the competing company changed their shoe style. I have now bought two pair of the GTS 21 model. I initially loved the light weight, the support, and the cushion, BUT the front toe box collapses with each step and presses down on the large toe. My first pair I tolerated this as it didn't affect my foot, even on 10+ mile runs. However, the second pair does this bad enough that I have a brown toenail after a 6-mile run this weekend. It's pretty bad when the material collapsing on each step is firm enough to actually press down on your toe hard enough to brown the toenail. I've read other reviews that say this was not an issue with the GTS 20 model, but is common with the GTS 21. Why oh why do you not catch these flaws? I need a reliable shoe that I can count on. Sadly I now have a pair with less than 50 miles on them that I'm afraid to wear.

There's a problem with the material of the toe boxes.
When I put pressure on the right shoe, it's all good - the toe box holds. When I run, particularly when I put pressure on the left shoe in the ball of the foot, the left toe box buckles, with two folds folding inward, on either side of my big toe. I can't say that I've ever experienced anything like that in a running shoe, and it's definitely not going to work.
The other thing is, Brooks updated the shape of the tongue from a traditional boxy one, to a triangular shape more appropriate for an elf's shoe.

I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS running shoes for the past few years and love them. However, the heel cup on one of my version 21 has worn through in five weeks and 173 miles of use. This is highly unusual since I have never experienced any interior wear on the prior versions of these shoes. I usually get three to four months of use from these shoes before the soles and cushioning wear out.

Too soft for a stability running shoe. Heel to toe transition is too great. Does not provide adequate motion control.
Overpronation actually greater.

Worst upper on this shoe yet. The 3D print overlay does not allow your foot to expand in the shoe.

The Adrenaline GTS 21 is a big let down from previous models. The tongue has very little padding and is narrower than in previous GTSs. After about 2 weeks daily running (approximately 90 miles) these are now painful to run in or even walk in with tightened laces. As soon as they are tied tight enough to hold the shoe stable, the tongue edge seam cuts into my foot and the laces cut into the top of my foot when my foot flexes. I am returning these.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Ghost 13. Does not have the tongue problem.

I've worn Brooks for years. They have been my favorite manufacturer. I've worn other brands and always came back to brooks, but for me, I think I am done. I think that I am now a tweener when comes to Brooks sizing. My last pair always felt a bit to big, so I tried a smaller half-size down. I brought them home and they felt great but too short. I exchanged them for a larger size and they are just not comfortable. Your website recommends buying shoes a half-size to full-size larger. My foot shifts and twists inside the shoe; forget inclines. I found a old pair that were about three years old and wore them the other day and the size was perfect. Finally, i am not sure about the quality of materials. The uppers look dirty and worn after only a couple of weeks.

i've been running for 5 years, tried various brands but i find Brooks works best for me. i tried the Glycerin but they are not stable enough- i am somewhat flat-footed and need stability (have mild case of Plantar fasciitis )- i have used the ghost 12 and 13s for awhile but was looking for a bit more stability and found it with the GTS - 21- better feel, more stable, less pressure on my P. Fac...- this shoes feels lightweight enough like the Ghost so each stride is easy and smooth. very well made shoe- will continue using the Adrenaline for years to come- thanks BROOKS !!!!!!!!
