We boldly bought this shoe twice. The first pair fit comfortably...but the second pair hurt my husband's toes. Strange because they were exactly the same shoe, same size, same width. The toe box seemed more narrow on this second pair.

I have worn Brooks (Ghost) for years.... the ONLY sneaker I could wear on my terribly painful, post-two-surgeries feet. Something has changed with Ghost and all styles, and it is incredibly frustrating. Nothing works on my feet anymore, and I am lost!

Nice for running but the rubber on the toe broke off the shoe in less than a week.

Uncomfortable upper which rubbed on my ankles and was tight. Had to return.

First Brook shoes I bought were the GTS 20. Best shoe I ever owned, Brought the 21s and it was terrible. Not as comfortable and no where near the support of the 20s

These look great and they wore great when I first got them. I have the USA themed pair. They are my everyday shoe. This is my 3rd pair of Brooks in 18 months. I am a large man. My first 2 pair were the Ghost13. Phenomenal shoe. They are starting to rub and blister the balls of my feet. They have held together well. The outsides other than being dirty are still in good shape. They just aren't as good as the ghost

Pros: Very comfortable, good stability while still feeling fairly neutral. Makes for a very comfortable run, at first. Cons: Poor build quality. Like others have mentioned here, the collapsing toe box is an issue. Also, the rubber crumbles off the soles in little pieces.

I?ve owned many pairs of adrenalines over the years. However, this particular generation has been my least favorite. On both pairs of 21?s that I own, the toe box collapsed after my second or third run. Fortunately it hasn?t affected the comfort of the shoe, but i won?t keep buying Brooks if they continue to have this issue.

I loved the energy-return upon first wearings but that soon compressed, but sooner than previous models. Not a good value. Hesitant to purchase next iteration without assurance that this has been corrected.

I just started running in the Adrenaline 21s and do not like the support. It feels like there are stiff bulges under the inside edges of my heels. I previously have owned 19s and 20s and liked them very much. The 19s and 20s provided subtle stability and support, which eliminated lower leg pain that I previously had. The stability and support in the 21s feels much more extreme. Maybe that is good for severe overpronators, but if you only need modest stability the 21s are probably overkill. I don't understand why Brooks would make such a big change to a staple shoe like the Adrenalines. We expect the shoes to evolve, but we also rely on them not to change so drastically that we can't use them. Which I can't. Disappointed! I thought I had my shoe but now I have to figure out who makes a more subtle stability shoe that will work for me.

My previous pairs of adrenalines fit very well. Comparing these to my previous pair of Adrenaline 19 purchased two years ago, the new ones feel noticeably narrower and slightly shorter. I matched the soles of my old and new shoes together and found that the new ones are actually narrower and slightly shorter. I guess it’s time to start looking for another model.

I've been a fan of the Adrenaline GTS models since 18...the best/most comfortable running shoe ever. Unfortunately something changed with the GTS 21 and it just doesn't feel anything like the 18, 19, or 20 that I loved so much. It's been almost 2 months and they still don't feel comfortable or broken into. All the previous models were amazing from the first run. A couple of weeks ago I got fed up when the running got worse and worse and I began walking a bit odd. I decided to switch back to my GTS 20 and noticed the very next run was great, despite those shoes being worn and not as springy. After a good week with the older GTS 20, a couple of tries again with the GTS 21 were unpleasant. I'm disappointed with the GTS 21, and do worry if this will be the new design going forward (which will mean I'll no longer buy these series). I can't tell what about this model isn't working for me. I do notice (compared to GTS 20 and the Ghost 12) the tongue is shaped differently, the sides feel near the middle of the foot feel a bit stiffer, and the laces need to be pulled tighter to create the same secure fit (but that makes it feel too tight). I'll have to see if Brooks has any support shoes within the new models that are similar to the GTS 20, or research other brands.

These shoes are comfortable, but this model breaks down in the back above your heal within two months of daily use. I got a second pair from Zappos when the breakdown happened to the first, but they are now breaking down as well. Wait for the 22nd generation if you can.

I thought the 20 had more cushion, especially in the heal. Not a satisfied customer of the 21.

Picture is a lot better than the actual shoes. The 10.5 size seems bigger and wider from my previous shoes. Rubber sole a lot better in terms of quality.

They look awesome, but they are not as comfortable as previous adrenaline version. My knees ankles and hips hurt when I tried to run with them so I just use them for lifting.

The shoe feels fine, however, After the first day I had a blister on each foot. These are the first blisters I have had in years. I ordered the same size as my old Adrenaline GTS20 which never gave me blisters, not even the first time out. I will give them a few more days to see if they improve.

Previously loved the Adrenaline, but the new ?GuideRails? just don?t work and make running uncomfortable. Rest of the shoe is built well.

We've bought the Brooks GTS's for the past 4 years and they have always been great. They have either changed the cushion/ sole or this is a defective pair. There is a bubble feel under the toes- never had that before.

Did not fit me as well as Adrenaline xx. I hope this doesn?t mean Adrenaline will be made like the 21 going forward.
