I absolutely love these shoes. I work on a busy covid unit so I'm always on my feet for 12hrs a shift. Great for anyone working in the hospital setting.

Great shoes for long walks in the rain. Extremely comfortable and supportive, no break-in required. (I use my own custom orthotics, so can?t really comment on arch support of the shoes on their own.) I did need to go up half a size from my usual Brooks size. Very happy with these shoes and pleasantly surprised at how dry my feet are after a wet, rainy walk.

These are a little less feminine looking than I would have liked, and they're a little tighter on the top of my foot than I would like, but overall I LOVE these shoes! I'm sure they'll loosen up some as I continue to wear them.

Comfortable and sturdy. Good traction. Tongue is not as padded as my regular Ghost shoes but is still comfortable. I like the waterproofing.

I purchased these to wear during wet snowy weather to keep my feet dry. They stand up to that promise. I live in the northeast so we have our share of cold, wet weather. I walk around 2 miles per day in most weather and have found these Ghost 13 GTX to keep my feet dry and not overly warm. The soles on these shoes appear a bit stiffer than the regular Ghost but do well in gripping the surface. As far as fit, I bought my regular size and can still wear thick socks without my feet feeling cramped. I am an avid fan of Brooks shoes and own several different styles. In my opinion, Brooks never falls short of one of the most comfortable and best running/walking shoe around. Will continue to purchase Brooks.

I bought these shoes to wear golfing (I walk a 6 mile course) during the winter months. We?ve had snow this week unfortunately, so I tried them out on the treadmill. Very light weight - couldn?t believe they were gortex! No break-in required! I started wearing my Ghost 12s this past summer for golf and my feet never felt so good! I wasn?t sure how the new version would feel/fit - but they are even better than my beloved Ghost 12s! I just wish they made the Ghost 13s in a very forgiving fabric like the Ghost 12 Nightlife - most comfortable shoe for summer months when your feet swell from heat/humidity!!

This has to be the most sturdy pair of Brooks I have owned (i have had at least 20-25 pair.
I hope Brooks will continue to have the Gortex!

I love these shoes so far. The gortex is a total game changer for fall, winter, and spring running. I was just running on the North Country Trail by a river after a light snow and everything was wet...except my feet! I only wish that these came in a wide size or other models had gortex. My summer/treadmill shoes are Brooks Glycerine?s in a wide, so I went up a half size for this pair. Thicker socks help, but a wide in the right size would be better.

When first wearing these shoes, they are incredibly stiff due to the gortex. After two weeks of wearing these shoes to work (I work all day on my feet, in a warehouse with concrete flooring), they finally broke in to the point where I was comfortable putting miles on them. For me, the fit was nice with a thicker than usual sock than what I would wear with my other brooks running shoes. These shoes hold up REALLY well in the wind/rain/cold. I live near Seattle so this time of year I desperately needed a shoe for the soaking winters here. I am not disappointed. Purposely ran through puddles on my way home and my feet stayed dry and warm. I have flat feet, and I have yet to add any extra arch supports. The support feels great- not just in my feet but my ankles and knees, and the cushion has felt durable as well. I absolutely love my Ghost 13's GTX!

I've been using Ghost and Ghost GTX for years and they really are the best. Perfect comfort, cushioning and support. I use them for walking, jogging and hiking and the GTX models keep my feet warm and dry. I've tried other brands (Nike, New Balance, ASICS, Saucony) and haven't found anything that comes close to Brooks. The only disappointment I had with this latest pair are the shoelaces. They won't stay tied unless tightly double knotted which then makes them a pain to untie. For the price, this is annoying to me but I still highly recommend Brooks.

I think this will be a great winter shoe. Super on wet weather, we haven't had snow yet. Took wearing 2-3 times for the shoe to feel comfortable, then just as good a my Ghost 12. Good stability and true to size.

I am not a runner. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fallen arches. I enjoy hiking though. Lately my hiking boots have been very painful so I decided to try Brooks. I have a pair that are not waterproof and loved them except they filled with sand and/or water. So I bought the waterproof pair. I absolutely love them!! My feet do not hurt anymore! I am so amazed. and yes they are waterproof. I have not walked through any puddles but wet grass (which would normally soak my socks and feet) and my feet stay dry. I am going to buy another pair (please dont ever change them) and my husband is going to give them a try too.
