If you really need narrow shoes, these wont work. I ordered an 11N to replace a pair of 11M Ghost 7 that have been wide on me. The innersole of these narrow Ghost 13s is wider than the inner and outer sole of the medium 7's. (and of course the outer sole is too). IF they had been narrow enough, I would have kept them and added arch support. (I have high arches).

I have to revise my initial review. I ordered a half size larger like I did with a previous pair. But I had to return them for a full size larger. But Zappos makes it so easy to do that!

Too tight

I have loved wearing the Brooks Ghost for many years. After purchasing the 13, the toe box was way too wide, like many other reviewers stated, and I had to return. So bummed they did this modification, I hope they can fix it!

Not comfortable at all. the fit is just not right for my foot. My foot seemed wider than the insole, and they ran shorter than last year, maybe due to the cushioning. Last year I could wear The Ghost and not the Glycerin, this year the Glycerin fits so well, no heel slippage, and just a tad longer than the Ghost, just enough to make the difference. I could not go up a half size in Ghost, too large. Not the shoe for me. However, if you have loved Ghost in the past, you are probably ok. They seemed a little short for me last year. But, try out the Glycerin for a cushiony, supportive shoe. Returning the Ghost. Also love Adrenaline GTS for great fit and comfort.

Before you buy, just know that Zappos' recommended size for you may be off. I'm a true size 6, but have ordered wide-size shoes before because I need a larger toe-box. Zappos recommended a 6.5 for me, which is a totally valid suggestion for an athletic shoe and particularly one I'm ordering in a normal width. It was however, entirely too large all over the place - too wide on the toes and too much space in the toes and the heel and my foot was left sliding around unsupported. The size 6 I exchanged it for is perfect. As other folks have suggested the toe box is rather wide and fits me well, accounting for the fact that your toes will need a little more breathing room after pounding the payment for a couple of miles.

Much wider in toe box than Ghost 12. Rubbed outer ankle. Returned.

These Brooks were the worst I have ever purchased. I took the insert from an old pair of Brooks because the inserts that came in this pair were very thin. Today I spent another $65.00 to purchase decent inserts. Truly disappointed especially since I spent so much money. The shoes are only 6 weeks old.

Fits well and true to size. Not as comfortable as the Ghost 11. Seems like they're lacking in heel and arch support compared to previous versions. :(

These are nice looking sneakers and comfortable on when trying them on and walking around the house. Upon my first long walk wearing them my toes went numb and after taking them off didn't feel normal for a good 30 minutes. I am not sure what the initial issue was with this shoe. I am almost a wide width in sneakers normally and the toe box on this shoe wasn't tight and felt roomy and comfortable. Unfortunately these are going back.

I ordered these shoes in W because of reviews but didn't go up a half size which was a mistake. The toe box was more comfortable but I still felt I needed more length and need more bottom cushioning. I really appreciate Zappos return policy but I don't want to reorder in a 1/2 size larger because they just don't feel that comfortable on the bottom of my foot.

These shoes in 8.5 M felt like they were shorter and had a narrower toe box than my previous Ghost 10 and 11. They also felt like they didn't have much-cushioning for my foot. Side support seemed good

I loved my ghost 12 but not crazy about these. I think maybe the material is too stretchy to give good support.

I’m a pretty solid 9, but these shoes in a 9 were too small. I also have a high instep, so do have trouble sometimes with shoes being tight along the top of my foot, as these were. But, they also seemed short. Can’t comment on the support or anything else as I just put them back in the box once I realized they were too small. Shout out toZappos for being a great company to do business with. Fast delivery, easy returns.

Initially, I was very happy with these sneakers. They were comfortable right out of the box. However, after only 3 months, the material on the inside around the heel started to fray and there is now a 1 to 1 1/2 inch hole in the material. Given the expense of these sneakers, I'm very disappointed.
