So far, I would have to say the 12's were more comfortable. I do have to wear insoles for plantar's fasciitis and it seemed that the 12's were more comfortable with the plantar's insoles that replaced with the insoles the shoes came with. At first, I thought maybe I could get away without the insoles, but that turned out not to be the case. On another note, I ordered 2 pairs, expecting to get one light colored pair and another black pair. However, although the darker shoes are called Black/Pearl/Hushed Violet, they are only black in terms of the laces. The shoes themselves are dark grey. That is what they should say. NOT black. So, I am giving it a 4 as the color does not match the description. Disappointed. It is really too bad in my opinion that they changed the Ghost 12 as the Ghost 13 just isn't as good. Still though, I think it will be comfortable enough. I might now try the 14's or the Glycerin to get the color I want and see how different THOSE are. So many reviews about how great the 12's were and still the company felt the need to change. Oh well. Maybe the next version will make me as happy as the 12's did.

I wear the Adrenaline almost exclusively so I decided to try the Ghost. Ghost has a little more cushioning. Adrenaline has a little more Stability (which I prefer for better balance). Both are great!

It runs 1/2 smaller.

I love the Ghost 13 shoes as they are very comfortable. I just wish Brooks could make their narrow shoes narrower. This is the second pair of Brooks Ghost 13 I own, but I had to put a second insert into both pairs of shoes to take up the extra width in the shoe.

These are really nice shoes; however, they don't have quite enough depth to accommodate my custom orthotic and AFO brace.

Not sure if Brooks if the quality of the the Ghost is as good as it was in the past. Do not hold up as well.

Brooks are the best athletic shoes I’ve ever owned. They have made my plantar fasciitis disappear. The Ghost 12 fix perfect the 13’s run a little large; but still a great shoe!

One shoe was 7.5 Medium and one was 7.5 Wide. I'm guessing someone wanted a personalized fit and did a switcheroo. :( won't work for us.

Brooks Ghost are great shoes. I have orthotics, but have not yet found a shoe they are right in, but have been doing ok without them lately. I'm ready to get rid of my Ghost 11's and ordered the 13, but the 13 run a good 1/2 size shorter. Back to figuring out what to do. The larger the shoe, the bigger in general they are and I don't need any more chunkiness! Just because your foot is longer doesn't mean it is bigger all around! I know the 14 are out now, but I'm not crazy about the colors so far.

Very comfy, good fit and size for me, but not enough support. I've tried out a few different brands over the past month or two, love the cushioning of the Ghost, but I need more of a stability shoe for my foot. Also, this was the only style/color in my size, and I wasn't a big fan!

This is my fourth pair of Brooks Ghost 13. I ordered my regular size, 8.5 wide. They are very comfortable and they were comfortable straight from the box. I wear them for walking and also for boot camp, five days a week. The wide toe box keeps my feet from feeling squashed. Colors are more limited in the wide sizes.

What can I say, these are beautiful shoes and they are very comfortable for running!

The fit was ok. My ghost 12's fit better in the same size. I do love the round laces instead of the flat ones. The front of these look like a worn out sweater. Like the purple color and grey laces compliment but it is a dull worn out looking shoe. Thank you to Zappos for your return policy.

I usually wear a 9.5 in Brooks but Zappos suggd a 10 which fits perfectly. Have worn many pairs of Brooks. Very disappointed in the arch support - next to zero. ??

Great, comfortable, and cute pair of Ghost. I highly recommend these for anyone.

They look good on and are comfortable. Very lightweight.

Compared to other Brooks shoes, I found that this ran a bit small and I had to order 1/2 size up from what I normally order from Brooks. A very nice, comfortable shoe. I have a relatively high arch, so adding a 3/4 length arch-support orthotic helped make this work for me. The toe box is quite roomy compared to other Brooks shoes, though I wish this shoe came in 2E. The D-width is still pretty tight, so still deciding if I can live with it.

I initially bought and returned the Ghost 13 because they weren't like the Ghost 12. However, after trying several other pairs of Brooks and damaging toenails due to the narrow toebox of the Brooks Trace, I decided to give the 13 another chance. I was able to wear them right out of the box for several 5-6 mile runs and have been moderately surprised by their comfort. My toenails are still healing, but these haven't made them worse, which was my concern. I'll still probably try the 14 when it comes out later this summer, but for now the 13 is a sufficient replacement for my year old 12's.

Ok so I finally order the Brooks 13 in a wide width. They fit great. The only drawback is that you don't have very many colors to choose from in a wide width, but comfort wins over color.

They fit pretty well. Not as good as Ghost 10.
