Only after a couple wears the fabric on the inside part of the heel of the shoe developed holes causing rubbing on my heel. Ouch!

Very disappointed in the Ghost 13. Wish I could return. Not sufficient cushion or arch support. I will not purchase this style again.

I did not think the shoe was comfortable at all. Further, I am suspicious of any brand that make you size up! Currently, I am on the hunt for a new running shoe. Hoka One One destroyed the Clifton- my go to running shoe. The search is on! Skechers is next because I am wondering if spending over $100 on a pair of running shoes is really worth it.

How far Brooks has fallen - such a shame. I have worn the Ghost model since version 10, which I still feel was the peak running shoe for me. After 5 months the 13 is falling apart on my foot! Other than outsole wearing from mileage, I've never had this kind of quality issue, especially from Brooks.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I bought these shoes based on the reviews, and i feel like I must have received a defective pair? But if you like running on wood planks these are the shoes for you. No cushion, no arch support. Gave me the worst plantar fasciitis. The one star goes to Zappos for being the best company and customer service. If you want a true neutral, comfortable shoe the saucony triumphs are 10/10.

I've had a terrible time with the Brooks Ghost 13 shoes. Zappos has been wonderful with the exchange/refund process. The issues I've had were the left toe box would collapse. Also, the other issue was the back of the shoe was wearing out after only wearing for a month. The material gave away and a hole appeared. I've been a Brooks fan for years but not with the Ghost 13 shoe. I'm very satisfied with the customer service from zappos. They've been awesome throughout this experience.

The Brooks Ghost 13 may be the worst pair of shoes I have ever bought. Such a disappointment since I had the Ghost 12 and they were the best shoes I ever bought. Ghost 12 had perfect cushioning and support. Now with the Ghost 13 the cushioning and support is gone and they have too much volume in the toe box. I have had these for about 2 months and have had nothing but pain in my feet, especially the heels. I use these for power walking and Jazzercise and put a lot of miles on my shoes. Come on Brooks, leave a great product alone!

Fit was fine except for one thing that made them unwearable - the lining in the toe is gathered - bumpy - so that it pressed on two of the toes of my right foot. It took me months to figure out what was going wrong with my toes, which were suddenly developing painful calloused spots next to the corners of my nails. The shoes were plenty big, plenty of room in the toe box - except they were badly sewn. My previous pair of Brooks were a half-size smaller and not comfortable, so I'd ordered up a half size. But I just checked the first pair and they have the same protrusions in the toe box. I've worn Brooks shoes for years - don't know if this is a manufacturing glitch that will be fixed, but I'm going to try a different brand.

Back of my ankles continued to bleed each time I wore these shoes. The toe box is wide and comfortable, the arch support is great, but the back design/cut of the shoe left me bleeding through band-aides and cotton balls each time I went for speed walks. Very painful. No thank you-these shoes are going back.

This wasn’t the shoe for me it very stiff and awkward feel to it, I still think the Ghost 12 was the very best that Brooks made.

I have owned numerous pairs of Brooks sneakers, but this latest version gets a thumbs down. A weird inward fold developed on the outside edge of the toe area on both shoes - they even made a snapping noise as I walked around. The fold then pressed on my toes (not painful, just annoying). I noticed another reviewer reported the exact same thing. It seems like a design flaw, which is very unfortunate for this otherwise excellent brand. Not what I expect from Brooks.

I ordered a size bigger after reading the reviews and it was still too small and too narrow. I couldn’t get the shoes on so I couldn’t answer the overall rating or the comfort rating.

I am a Brooks fan and always buy Ghost. Unfortunately, I am returning these. The toe bed cushion is lacking and the angle of the padding on the right shoe is very uncomfortable. I don't know if I received a defective set but these caused me great pain so I will be returning.

Very disappointed in the Brooks 13. I had been waiting since the 11's to get my new pair. The 12 colors were horrible, I love gray and the ghost 12 had this awful peach w gray. Was psyched to see the new 13's, gray with white was perfect. I'm a 10.5 in Brooks, ordered them and to my great disappointment they had so much room left in the toe area, I couldn't wear them. Tried size 10 just for kicks, way too small as usual. I have no idea what happened in sizing, but they used to be a perfect right out of the box. Now I understand when other reviewers have these issues, it stinks not to be able to count on a company's sneaker you've been with for years. Please stick with the light gray colors with white, other than that bummed.

I use these shoes for walking because my podiatrist recommended a supportive walking/running shoe. Years ago I purchased Brooks for the first time and they lasted 10 years. This is my second pair. They fit perfectly especially since I have narrow feet. There is no gapping or sliding and they fit like a glove. I normally wear a narrow 9 but have to size up to 9.5 in Brooks. The cushion is great, especially for uneven surfaces so I can go from pavement, to gravel, rocks, or dirt and my feet feel protected with no issues. I can go for miles and miles in this shoe and still have a full day walking around and not feel tired. I lucked up on a sale this time around but they are worth the price!

Even 6 months post ankle ligament surgery, I felt great stability in this shoe. It's comfortable yet light. I don't like heavy running shoes and this one fit the bill!
