I usually get Asics, but wanted to try these. They are very comfortable and do not need to be broken in, but they don’t have the same cushion that I like. The soles are big and look like they’d have cushion, but it’s very minimal. Overall though, very comfortable shoes.

Other than there being an stain on the left shoe, it is a great shoe for walking and jogging. For the price, I would expect to get shoes without stains or blemishes on the fabric.

These are nice shoes. For the past several years I have been devoted to the Salomon X-Mission 3, which fit me perfectly. I was dismayed to discover that that they had been discontinued and have been searching for a replacement ever since, trying and rejecting several other Salomon models. Recently the Brooks Ghost 13 was suggested to me as a good alternative. They run smaller than other brands I’ve tried—in most makes I wear a 7 or a European 37, but I found the 7 to be much too tight in these and needed to size up to 7 1/2. I have a bunion on one foot (having had surgery on the other) and narrow heels, so I need shoes that accommodate mismatched feet. These are quite comfortable, with a roomy toe box and a soft fabric upper. There are no hard seams to press painfully against that bunion, which is important for me. I’m not sure how supportive these shoes will be over time, but at this point I would recommend them.

I have a pair of Ghost 12's that fit perfectly. These are not as comfortable, so I've found some Ghost 12's online and ordered them. The 13's will be returned.

The fit and size was true. I usually wear 8 in shoes so ordered 8.5M and they are perfect. I almost gave 5 stars for overall but as I have no arch I had to insert arch supports for comfort. And it seems my problem I was having with New Balance is now gone. My second toe was bumping the front of the shoe but no longer. I would recommend this brand and I will order again. I walk (not run) in these shoes.

I loved these shoes. I ordered the 9.5 because I read in some reviews that they were made larger. They were a half size too small. Otherwise, I give them an excellent rating.

This was my first time trying Brooks. I felt like I was rocking heel to toe while walking when I tried them on, which was fine, except my usual size was too small in these. I recommend sizing up.

I had to exchange it to a size 1/2 larger only because the toe is too pointed for me.

Finally a shoe with enough stability and support for my over pronation and posterior tibial tendinitis! I just wish I could find a waterproof hiker that was this comfortable.

Softer than the 12's, but not as supportive. Very comfortable shoe.

These have less comfort than the ghost 12a

I’ve been measured at Fleet Feet as a 7.5 medium width. In the Brooks Ghost 12 I wear a full size up from that, but based on reviews for the 13 I ordered an an 8. Mistake. The Ghost 13 is a tiny bit wider in the toe box ( yea, Brooks- narrower would have been really upsetting) and they are possibly a very little bit longer, but not a half-size worth. Order what you would wear in the 12’s. These have great cushioning in the forefoot and I love them, enough to order another pair in the near future. That said, the colorways are really subtle in this version of the Ghost- I got the black with violet and it looks like dark charcoal gray with off-white! Not a fan of neon shoes, but the color choices in the 12 were better.

I bought a 9 1/2 Wide. It fit perfectly, not too snug and not too large. I am dealing with metatarsalgia in my left foot and this has now become my favorite shoe as it is the most comfortable.

I wear a size 8.5 in regular shoes but in Brooks I always order a 9. Have only worn for a few hrs but are comfortable so far.

These would get five stars except they squeak! Otherwise, they're great.

I have bought these shoes for years and years. The 13's feel way wider and way longer. I always buy an 8 but this time I had a good inch of room in the toe area. It set my foot in the wrong place within the shoe and threw off my gait. There does seem to be more heel cushioning in these vs the 12's but less in the toe ball area which is where I need it the most. I still like this shoe but the fit is much larger than the last few years of this shoe. I gave it two weeks thinking in winter i'd be wearing thicker socks but ended up buy heel rubber guards to make the shoe more snug but it didn't really help so ended up returning for a 1/2 size smaller and I have never worn a 7 1/2 Ghost shoe before. Zappo's is the BEST with the 30 day return on run shoes - their customer service is the best out there. I check here first for everything before shopping anywhere else.

Love the Brooks Ghost 13. Probably like it as much maybe more than the 12. Great cushion in heel and tongue. I have a slightly wide foot (C) so I always buy wide. I might be able to get away with a medium width, but if you have a wide foot these should work for you in wide width. If they had better color options I would buy another pair or 2, but as usual there is limited selections in wide. These are boring. I’ll make due with the pair I got because I need them and they feel great, but I hope they come out with better design options the next time.

This was my third pair of books ghost and I was excited to get them. Unfortunately, the toe box is so well cushioned that it presses into my sesamoids. Although I've recovered from a terrible bout of sesamoiditis several years ago, I still find the area to be sensitive so I have to return these. If you don't have any issues with sesamoids, I'm sure you'll love it since my other foot felt like it was walking on a cloud.

Pro: look good, feel good, lightweight. Con: I CANNOT put my orthotics in these due to the invincible orthotic "farts" (yes, I've tried everything).

Little to no arch support so I had to return.

I WANT to love Brooks, but they just don’t have enough cushion for my taste. These felt pretty decent when I first got them, but it seemed like any cushion was gone after a few 5-mile walks.

Surprised by how light weight these felt and really loved how cushiony they are. There wasn’t enough arch support for my high arches (and my old Ghosts feel like they have more supports) so need to return.

I'm an athlete and have been wearing running shoes all my life (though now I do more walking than running) - these Ghost shoes are well-cushioned and have a wider toe box than other brands; however, they are heavy. These are 9oz whereas the Nikes I was wearing are 8oz -this is a huge difference for me, being petite and even in excellent shape. I got ankle impingement (inflamed front of ankle pain) after just a few days walking. Returned and am trying other options. There is a trend to add more cushion which seems like a good idea, however be aware this also adds weight to the shoe.
