these are the most comfortable brooks shoes i have ever worn. I own 4 different styles and these by far beat the others. This shoe offers a wider toe box for those with wider feet. These shoes are not a wide size but they offer a bigger platform. Usually I need to wear a shoe for a couple days and it will adjust to my feet. I wore these for 12 hours and never even realized I had new shoes on. These shoes offer a great support and stabilization for the ankle. Im new to brooks and I recommend them to anyone I speak to.

Extremely comfortable! Lots of support - I normally have a nerve issue in my ankle - tarsal tunnel syndrome - and I was able to walk 20,000 steps with no pain!

I couldn’t wait for the Ghost 13 to come out and now I am going to return both pairs I bought and see if the 12 is still available. My feet feel very hot in the shoes but aside from that, why did Brooks take a pair of light gray shoes, put a pretty aqua rim around it, and ruin it with a dark logo and an ugly thick pair of jet black laces? Brooks color schemes get duller and duller year after year.

Being a nurse, I have worn Brooks Ghost for a long time. Very comfortable and supportive. Tried the Revel and just didn’t feel the same. Even though the Ghost cost more, it is worth the price. I’m a 7.5 normally and I always get 8’s in these sneakers.

This year’s Ghost is a little bit roomier than the previous years’ but also cushier. Might be a half size larger but not enough to send back. I wore them for 10 hrs retail right out of the box without any issue. My only concern that is only based on suspicion at this point is I worry the toe fabric may tear. I’ve had that happen in previous years and that’s disappointing. However, it hasn’t happened yet!

Ghosts are my go to for long, endurance runs. They are my favorite running shoe, and I’ve tried many over my 20 years of running! They have amazing arch support and nice cushioning for the balls of the feet, reducing the negative impact of the pavement. Even though the Ghost 13s are the lightest running shoe with ample support that I’ve tried, I wish that there was a way that they could be even lighter.

LOVED...but had to return them. This was THE most comfortable shoe I have ever purchased....unfortunately after having them just 1 week, the inside sole on both shoes started to split. I only wore them around the house. I am sending them back because they are too expensive for this to be happening with minimal wear. They run about 1/2 size too small so SIZE UP 1/2 size for a good fit. I usually wear a 9 1/2 and sized up to a 10. If the sole was not splitting, these would be my #1 choice in a running shoe.

This is the first time I have ever purchased Brooks before and I must say these are my “glass slipper”. I have never in my life found a shoe that feels like it was made for my foot until these arrived. I am typically an 8.5 in sneakers which is what I originally purchased. They just felt a tad too small. I easily and quickly sent them back for the 9 and they are perfect. I do have a bit of a wide foot so I did order a wide and they are just right. Not too wide and they don’t pinch anywhere. My posture is better in these shoes. My feet aren’t throbbing after a few hours; I feel like a whole new person. I have worn other major brands but Brooks are by far the most supportive for not just my foot but my back, hips, knees and ankles. Soooo grateful to find this shoe!!!!!

I'm so disappointed in the Ghost 13. I loved the Ghost 12, which provided great support and cushioning basically felt like a cloud. The 13 feel like there is a lot less cushioning and support, and the toe box is too wide (I have the narrow version in both the 12 and 13). They basically aren't supportive enough for me to run in them, so I've just been wearing them on walks. They also have a weird flaw that makes the upper fabric bend down and rub against my toe (see picture). I wish I would have bought several pairs of the 12 when they were available.

I've worn Ghosts for years for my daily 6+ mile power walks. Ghost 11s were great, and Ghost 12s did not work for me at all, so I was thrilled when 13s came out. WOW! The added cushioning in the front of these babies makes a huge difference in eliminating the feel of all the bumps in the pavement without being mushy. I ordered two pairs in my regular Ghost 11 size 9 because I wasn't sure which color I liked, and am not excited about either one. The Black/Pearl/Hushed Violet is not black at all (it's grey) and the pearl/hushed violet sole just looks like off white in most lighting. The Light Blue/Blackened Pear/White is a boring light blue shoe that makes me think of New Balance dad shoes for some reason. The laces are super wimpy and so long that they kept hitting me in the shin as I was walking. It took a few tries to knot them up enough to stop that. But, I'm keeping the dark grey ones because at the end of the day, it's how my feet feel and I could not be happier about that! Note to Brooks: please offer some additional colors that are not muted besides the Florida Gator blue/orange ones! Zappos: I tried to upload a photo, and it kept getting flagged for it being too large when the image was less than 1MB.

These are my favorite running shoes ever! I feel like I have tried absolutely every brand and style of running shoe out there and I couldn't find the "perfect" one. The Ghost 12s from last year were so short that I sized a half size up and then my heel slipped out. I've been running in Brooks Glycerin 18s and while I like them enough, the ankle support isn't all there. These are absolutely my perfect fit! Enough room in the toe box when my feet swell a couple miles in, supportive cushion in all the right places, super soft laces that stay tied, and a non-slip heel cup. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Brooks finally got it perfect and I hope they stay this way forever. (I wear 6.5 in street shoes and 7 in most running shoes, my feet aren't wide or narrow, normal arches - the 7 fit perfectly)

I love these shoes. I barrel with foot and ankle problems, so I usually buy a pretty expensive shoe. I have a good size bunion on my right foot and recently ruptured my Achilles’ tendon on the left foot. These shoes don’t pinch and are very supportive. They are very comfortable and seem lightweight and don’t make my feet hot. I’m pretty picky about shoes. These are the most comfortable I’ve had in awhile.

Fits true to size. I have been a Brooks Ghost fan since the 10's. I absolutely loved the 10's. Everything was perfect about the 10's! The 11's were just not the same, they ran long , were not as soft, and the colors were awful. The 12's ran short and the laces were extremely long, however, the cushion reminded me of the 10's, which is why I fell in love with the Ghost line. The 13's are back to true to size, the toe box is amazing, the cushion isn't quite as good as the 10's & 12's, but the style is way better and the laces are perfect length. Keep in mind this is a neutral shoe. Overall, I would recommend. Side note: I use these shoes for running on the road, treadmill and Orange Theory workouts.

I know these are running shoes, and I am not a runner, but I do enjoy walking. I have bunions and hammer toes, and the Ghost 13 is perfect for my feet. I have a narrow heel and need a wider toe box. So comfy. I bought a size larger than I normally wear because I use my own orthotics and I wear socks, and they fit well. Every year Brooks changes the style, and they're not always good for me, but this one is great!

I got the grey/blackened pearl/purple color, medium, and 1/2 size up from my normal 8.5. I report all of this because sometimes--sometimes--the feel/fit of a shoe can change a little depending on which color configuration I purchase. The 1/2 size up was based on review comments and also how my feet do seem to swell over the course of the day. This was the right decision for me. I've had this shoe for over a month now and it is the best walking shoe I've ever owned for comfort, no wear and tear on my legs, and the absence of pain/burning in my feet. These issues were unfamiliar to me until the last several years. My trusty Asics just didn't work any more so I went on the search. My chiropractor recommended Brooks (which I wore back in the days when I ran), but not all Brooks are created equal. I tried a lot of them but these are the Goldilocks for me. I don't have problem feet with the exception of a somewhat high arch and my narrow heel relative to my medium foot, but the ankle collar on these secures my heel well, which also helps keep my foot from shoving forward in the shoe. Their moderate cushioning works for me, and the cushioning is pretty evenly distributed so I can wear walking or just working around the house. When I stand in them, I don't cant (tilt) forward, which had been a problem for me with my weird hips. They are lightweight but not too much so. I forget they are on--I can wear them all day. Everyone's feet and bodies are different so I can't promise my great experience with these...but I'm going to buy a couple of these before they retool the machines. Just sayin'

I purchased the gray & purple & waz fine. However, I ordered the black & hushed violet & fit & colir was off. They are dark charcoal, not black & there is no lite violet color. The sole looks an off white no matter the lighting you view it in. Also, the toe in this darker color has more of a pointy shape verses the gray & purple. Fit was off on darker ones. The gray & purple was perfect, but I returned the black (dark charcoal & violet ). Color description NOT accurate. I don't know how the color can affect the fit of a shoe thats in the same model & size ??? Disappointed, as that color scheme sounded so nice.

Normal 8 returned for 8.5. I’m a registered nurse and I work 14 hour shift. On my feet all of those hours running around like a mad woman “you get the point “ lol. These are the most comfortable and supporting shoes my feet have ever felt. Amazing Cushing for your heels and you feel like your able to balance on your feet. I’m a huge fan and will be ordering two more colors. I have a Med-high arch regular width.

I have been wearing brooks ghosts for several years now. They have been wonderful - soft, comfortable, attractive. The Ghost 13 is the most comfortable yet...really excellent cushioning and a softer mesh...I love the feel and the fit. Unfortunately, the colors are horrible, especially in wide. Dreary, dull and ugly. The 12s had such pretty colors...What happened Brooks? Could we possibly get some more attractive colors in wide? In general? I will still wear the new ghosts because of the superb construction and comfort, but I am so disappointed in the appearance of the shoe.

Love the look and feel of these sneakers.They’re stable, durable, good arch support, great colors offered. Pricey, but as my work shoes it’s worth it. I am normally a 6 1/2 or seven in heels and flats, but I am a 7 1/2 in Brooks sneakers.

I love these shoes. I decided on them after reading reviews on Zappos and Runners I found that the laces kept untying on long runs even with double nots. I ordered these bungee laces for them and now they are THE perfect shoe.

LOVE the new Ghost 13! I loved my 11's, but didn't really like the 12s. These are PERFECT!

I am a long time ghost user. I think this is my 10th year replacing these, I order the new version every year. i hate to say it, but the 13 is awful. The heal box is so narrow I have bruises on my foot from it pressing so hard. Brooks I have no idea what happened but please go back!

What I really like about the GHOST series is that, while providing good support, they are light weight. Good support for plantar fasciitis...

These were as they were described. They have a wide toe-box which I wanted. I am between a 7 and 7.5 so I got the 7.5.. it may run very slightly on the large size, but it's exactly what I wanted. It is nice and cushioned. Like the Gel Nimbus 17, but Asics totally changed the shoe and was looking for something that was like the old Nimbus and this is as close as I could find. Thanks Brooks.
