Narrow foot and AA fits well. Good support and comfort. Wish they offered more colors in narrow. We deserve better.

This is my first pair of Brooks. I went back and forth over this purchase, but I’m glad I decided to take the leap. Please note I DO NOT RUN, so I can’t speak to that aspect of the shoe. I can, however, say that the shoe offers good support, ample cushion though not bouncy or cloud-like, and plenty of toe room. I work in a dental office so my day involves a lot of movement (walking, standing, sitting). I read several reviews and decided to order 1/2 size up (I’m normally a 9.5 but ordered a 10). The 10 fits perfectly with a pair of Balega Enduro socks. I am considering purchasing several different colors before they decide to change the design like shoe makers tend to do every year.

Two Achilles’ tendon surgeries in the books and the Brooks Ghost never disappoints me. Comfortable and supportive for my neutral foot. I have a slight underpronation, but mostly neutral foot. These are perfection. Lightweight, roomy toe box, and snug heel.

8 wide felt amazing out of the box! Realized a brick-and- mortar seller had pushed me into a 1/2 size larger and played with lacing to sell me on a medium width. When you’re a wide, you’re a wide!

In 1975, the only women's athletic shoes offering a narrow or AA width was New Balance. So, for all these decades, I bought various styles within this iconic brand. I was very happy. However, in 2020, this year, just now, I decided to take a chance, and try some other brand. Well, the SECOND I slipped on these Brooks Ghost 13 shoes, I instantly started to sing, I am not kidding: "I'm walking on sunshine, and don't it feel good!" I instantly had a smile on my face, and felt happy!!! These shoes are SO lightweight, so cushiony, so super comfortable! The N.B. I used to wear for many years are all leather......so heavy. So, all I can say is: buy these shoes, even though, and here is the minor downside: they are a half-size longer than listed, and the toe-box is gigantic so that you might have clown feet, as I do now. However, that being said, my custom-made orthotics fit inside perfectly, and even without them, these shoes are super comfy, and I felt like I was literally walking on air!! I would buy them again, but a half-size smaller for sure. SO comfortable, so light-weight. Worth their high price.

This shoe is a true narrow which is hard to find in larger size women’s shoes. Just because I have a longer foot doesn’t mean that it is wider. Yes a woman can have a long and narrow foot. I normally would order a size 12.5 but that is not available. So I ordered a 13 and it fits well. I will mention that the toe box is more narrow than some might like but it works for me.

I have super narrow feet. I usually wear New Balance 8.5 AA. The Brooks narrow 8.5 fit great and I was excited to see Brooks had a narrow shoe. They feel great and the arch support is good, they hug my heel, no heel slip. I do like the style. Honestly, I only gave it 4 stars because there were other sizes in the medium width I liked better but at least these didn't look like granny shoes. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Great pair of shoes. I have three pairs of Ghost 12 and just purchased Ghost 13---Brooks has the best shoes for my achy feet. Very comfortable shoes!

I love Brooks and these are no exception. I always size up 1-1.5 sizes in Brooks and that remained true. I wear an 8-8.5 in regular shoes and my Brooks size is a 9.5. So I rated it as running small, but it is tts for Brooks. These shoes are so light and I love them!

I usually wear a size 9N but since the toe box on this shoe was more tapered, I had to size up to a 9.5N. Fit very well and accommodated my orthotic arch supports well.

I've been running over 20 years, I have worn Brooks Ghost since at least the Ghost 9, if not earlier. I run around 1000 miles a year, around 20+ a week (far not fast ;). I have also dealt with plantar fasciitis for many years, although good running shoes plus superfeet berry insoles, then birk's as houseshoes, have kept that at bay for a long time. I wear an average width size 10 running shoe. I put about 500 miles on a shoe before switching to new. With the Ghost 9, 10, 11, and 12... no issues, great runs right out of the box (like a good running shoe should be). In the past (pre-Ghosts), every once in a blue moon, I'd have a pair of running shoes that would rub my little toes and cause a blister, but it always cleared up in a run or two, never to return. The Ghost 13's have caused blisters for over a month of running (of course, I forgot the zappo's return policy, but they don't have the 12's anyway)... Any run over 5-6 miles (I run long/short days) causes a blister to form on one or both of my small toes, on the outside. I wrap it, it clears up/firms up, then the next long run irritates it again. I could pre-wrap, but doing that all the time is annoying, let alone shouldn't be needed. Next I'll be looking into toe socks, since they're cheaper than a new pair of shoes... This, however, is the only issue I have with these. No other rubbing, they look brand new with a month of treadmilling (warmblooded MN runner here.) So all in all, if you have narrower feet across the toes, or you don't tend toward little toe blisters, and you're looking for good cushion and decent support, I do like the Ghosts. Whyyyy do they change them?? (Anyone have a brand new pair of Ghost 12's they wanna sell me?? ;)

As a longtime Glycerin wearer, I was disappointed with Glycerin 17s and was gun-shy about purchasing a new pair, so after comparing reviews and new technology I chose to try out the Ghost this time. I once owned the waterproof Ghost version and didn’t hate them. They did the job. So here’s what I think of these Ghost 13s. I like them. Do I love them? Eh. The cushioning is fine. Would I do a long run in them? Maybe not, but I don’t really do long runs anymore so I digress. The arch support isn’t strong. However, I have REALLY high arches, so it’s hard for me to get that kind of support. I frequently have to “build” the arch up a bit in most running shoes to get there (except most Glycerin pairs I’ve owned). These Ghost shoes are fine for walkers I think - unless you insist on walking on clouds. You won’t get there with these. But if you are just looking for a simple cushion shoe and you are a neutral light-duty (less than maybe 25 miles per week), then you’ll do fine with this shoe. Oh, and in case you are wondering about sizing, I wear a 7 in all shoe brands except these, ASICS, and Nikes. In Nike/ASICS I can wear a 7.5, and these I have to take a solid size 8. That gives me about a finger width space in the toe of the shoes to prevent rubbing on my toes.

Nice Shoe, although it's not as cushioned as I expected. The GHOST was recommended to me by my foot doctor. I did 'size-up to a 7 1/2 W, (I wear a 7W normally) as sizing runs small; toe-box is not as wide as my New Balance, but seems to be fine, and Shoes accommodate my Orthotics well.

My feet measure 7.5 but always order an 8 for bunions and a wide. I wore them outside to walk 3 miles twice and they have stretched. Probably could have worn a 7.5.

I really wanted to love this shoe. The style was nice and the quality of construction was excellent. Unfortunately, I couldn't walk in them. There was no support at all under the toe area and it gave me the sensation that I was leaning forward. This was my first purchase of Brooks shoes and the first pair of shoes where I've experienced this issue. Not sure if I got a defective pair or if that's how they're supposed to fit, but it didn't work for me.

So disappointing! I have owned Brooks Glycerins and Adrenaline's and had very good experience with both so I had high hopes for these sneakers, especially based on the reviews. These caused my supination to worsen! I experienced terrible pain wearing these on the outer edges of my feet, as well as the outer top portion of my left foot. I have never had a pair of sneakers do this before. Unfortunately, I had so much faith in Brooks that I threw out the boxes these sneakers came in and so I didn't return them. My bad! That will never happen again. These sneakers also wore out in the heel quite quickly despite the fact that I was unable to wear them that much due to the issues they caused. Overall, a big fail!

These shoes were awesome the first time I put them on. They fit well and they were super comfortable. I wore them for about a week and then the insole started sliding inside the shoe while I'm wearing them, this caused chaffing on the bottom of my foot (never thought this was something that could happen!). The insoles have no padding left after wearing for a week, they went from about 1/2 an inch of really soft squishy foam to flat as a pancake. These have become the worst pair of speakers I've ever bought, all within a week of wearing. Very disappointed with this purchase. This was the most I've ever spent on a pair of speakers, more money doesn't mean better product. Would not recommend these shoes to anyone.

I absolutely love these sneakers. I'm 59 years old and on a walking and diet regime to get back into shape. These sneakers were comfortable from the first time I tried them on. No break-in period. If I could wear them to bed I would :) I'm writing this review 12 months after purchasing and about to buy a second pair in a different color.

This neutral shoe works great with my orthotics. I have other colors of this same shoe, but use the all-black as my "good shoes".

The shoes feel great so far. They are a little tight across the arch, but I think if I loosen the laces they will be fine. Just haven't taken the time yet. Shoes came a day earlier than expected. They look nice. I can't wear dress shoes, so these being all black will work in most cases.

Fits well. Usually purchase 8N, but had to go up 1/2 size because my toe was at the very tip of the 8. The all-black does make the shoe look “orthotic”, but I’ll take fit & comfort over looks.
