I'm usually between an 8 and 8.5 so I ordered a size of each. Ended up returning the 8s. I like the extra room that the 8.5s gave me- I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet for 13 hours and my feet don't hurt at all after my shift. I would definitely buy these again.

I usually order a half size up from my standard shoe size in the Brooks Ghost. Perfect fit doing this. Very comfortable. No rubbing from the tongue or back of ankle/top of heel. No break in period needed. Great right out of the box.

I really wanted these to work, I love Brooks. I need a sneaker with a little wider toe box, not Ronald McDonald size, but just something not really tapered. Unfortunately I found the toe box too small and narrow. I usually wear an 8 and bumped up to 8.5 as some other reviewers recommended. I didn't find much difference in size between the 8 and 8.5, still too small and very little toe room. I reordered a 9, which turned out to be too big. The search continues...

I'm giving this one star because I'm just so tired of all of these name brands continuing to crush our toes. Every single running shoe needs a wider toe box. This is so unhealthy for our feet. I'm an athlete and this is an epidemic across all brands. The cushioning is good, and it's a cute aqua blue; but I'm not going to ruin my feet on a run with a narrow toe box. I would not recommend these.

The fit was very tight. I have always worn ghost but this style was totally different from the others

Amazing update from the Ghost 12’s which I wasn’t a fan of & I’ve worn every Ghost iteration since Brooks started making them. The 13 is light, springy with incredible cushioning!! Great tie box room, but not overly so. Love these! The spring really healed with hilly runs! Highly recommend! Fit TTS!

So I got the ghost 11 back in the day and hands down the best shoe ever! I’m an 8.5 but usually am a 9 in sneakers bc I do have a wider foot. I tried the ghost 12 when they first came out and they were too narrow so I had hoped with these having a good width feel that they would fit more like the ghost 11 but alas they were not as good. Loved the look. Loved the width. Right out of the box they felt great but it was after being in them for 2-4hrs at work (I’m in health care and on my feet a lot) that my feet were getting tender and sore I’m spots I’ve never had an issue with before along with arch pain so mid day I was switching back to my ghost 11. Not the worst shoe ever but I am just on my feet too much to have to deal with any sort of discomfort like that so sadly these were a no for me.

Love the fit! Similar to the Ghost 12 (despite other reviews saying they felt different). Just thought that they would get way too dirty.

I'm not sure what went wrong with the Ghost 13's. I've been running in the Ghosts for a few years now. The Ghost 13 brought back my plantar fasciitis which was the reason I switched from running in Nike's to Brooks Ghost. I guess it's back to the drawing board to find a shoe that doesn't cause the foot issue.

overall the shoe fit well tho the toes felt unsupported as the front had a bit of a drop. but overall very cushioned, very soft. the only bad thing for me was the back of the shoe chafed my achilles constantly leaving it sore and red. I put bandaids and wore thick socks but the back of the shoe was either too thick or tough -- it irritated me just walking in it. i wanted to like it very much but in the end i had to return the shoe as it was quite costly to leave in the closet.

Runs wide and lacks cushioning, especially for heel-strikers. I usually wear a 9 1/2 Medium in Brooks running shoes. In this Ghost 13, the 9 1/2 Medium felt too wide; the 9 1/2 Narrow fit perfectly. The upper is well constructed, and fit my narrow heel and provided ample room in the toe box. But the sole lacks rebound; and as a heel-striker, I felt far too much impact. In less than two blocks, my feet and joints felt "jarred." I have the same issue with the new Brooks Glycerin: a perfect upper for my foot, but a disappointing sole. Brooks, if you are listening: For me, the Holy Grail would have a Brooks upper, but the far superior cushioning of a Hoka sole--except with a traditional 10-12 mm heel drop like the Ghost and Glycerin.

I really like these Brooks Ghost 13 shoes for walking…they are very comfortable. Cute color too.

I have bunions and many other foot issues in these shoes are a cushy delight. I also like their dazzling white color for summer. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I usually wear 8 wide or 8 1/2; ordered size 8 D-wide and fit is perfect. Have worn them for a few half-mile and mile-ish walks with dog and would feel good about going for a long walk. I like the plain black; I don't want my shoes to be the flashiest part of my clothing!

LOVE THESE! I loved them so much that I bought a 2nd pair. One for work (I work in surgery and am on my feet all day long on floors that may as well be concrete)! I think they are amazing for walking, running, standing, etc! My arches have great support. I have a narrow heel and there is no issue with sliding and rubbing! I hope Brooks never discontinues the foot mold for these!

I have been walking in Ghost 13’s for many years now. So comfortable I don’t even think about them on. I wear a 7.5 to 8 in regular shoes and the 8 in these are perfect. Love the roominess in the toe box area, especially when I decide some days to actually run a bit towards the end of my walk. Thanks for always having them in stock. My only wish would be that Brooks would up their color game...

Fit is a Perfact Wide, very comfy .i have a pair of Brooks Adeline in a a WW which was too wide. These are great for my poor old feet!

I ordered the Ghost 13 this year to replace the 13's I purchased last year that I LOVE. I decided to stay with the 13's based on reviews that the new 14's had less cushion, the whole reason I like this particular shoe for running. I decided to buy the lavender Ombre because I liked the color and the grey blackened pearl/purple were a bit more masculine looking and I wanted something more colorful. Same exact shoe, just a different color, or so I thought. For whatever reason this particular shoe seems to have less sole/cushion than my old shoe (even after have been worn for a years worth of runs). I can't understand how this can be. Because I had the option to try them and still exchange I decided to run in them a few times then in the old shoes to compare and sure enough there is a difference, crazy. My sister who is also an avid Brooks wearer said she had the same problem when she switched from what we call the "speckled design", meaning the top part of the shoe has little lines or specks on the fabric as part of the design, to the smooth top design, the cushion and design of the shoe was different. I do not know if they have different manufacturers but there is definitely a difference between this shoe compared to what I got last year. Anyway, I'm exchanging them for the grey/blackened pearl/purple from last year that I loved. I care more about being comfortable on my run than the style of shoe, but the lack of consistency with style/cushion was a bummer. Hope this is helpful!

At first I loved these shoes. However, within less than three months of purchase the fabric around the heel completely ripped apart and exposed sharp plastic to the back of my heel. This caused me to have blisters and there’s no way for me to fix the shoes. Everything else I loved about the shoes but that was very disappointing since I can No longer wear them.

I really wanted to like these based on reviews here plus from family members but they were very uncomfortable after only a short walk. I have a Neuroma and I need shoes with a wide toe box. I thought these fit the bill... but they were smaller and more narrow then I expected and I got a 1/2 size larger and wide width.

These were for my wife. She hates ordering on line, so we went to a local shoe store to try on shoes. The didn't have her size and tried to sell her a half size larger. We didn't bite. On top of that the clerk told her she won't be able to get the shoe she was looking for because of "supply chain" problems etc. On the way home I said let's try Zappos. We found the shoe she wanted and the size she needed. They arrived 3 business days later. She tried them on and couldn't believe how comfortable and how well they fit. Thank you Zappos. Happy wife happy life.

i have been a Ghost wearer dating back to Ghost 7. I have always bought a half size bigger but this one is too big at a half size bigger so i have ordered my normal size. I love these for every day shoes but there is not enough padding for long walks due to my feet issues. I bought the hyperion tempo and this one is working better with more cushion in the ball of the foot. both are great shoes
