Ghost 12 were much softer, and these are hard as rock. I've owned 2 pairs of Ghost 12, and these 13 took out the comfort of a soft comfortable shoes Ghost 12's were! As the saying goes, they stop making the good stuff sometimes, and no reason to do so. If you like rock hard shoes, especially where Brooks add added it extra hard padding in the middle of the foot unnecessarily, and the ball of the foot is like walking on concrete.

Purchased the size I always wear 11.5 Wide 2E, these felt like no more than a D width, don’t know what happened to Brooks but they are not the same anymore.

The style was nice but the only EXTRA wide shoe they had was in black. Had to return grey ones for black ones which don’t look as nice

Created lower back ache

For me the size seemed a little small. Very thin material and a light shoe in weight. I returned the shoe after wearing for a month, didn’t have enough support for me.

This shoe runs narrow nd was tight across the ball of the foot. The Glycerin 18 fit me well. I do have a narrow foot.

This shoe is better than the Ghost 12 in terms of fit for the 4E width. This one was really very close. But, for me I felt something right along the outside edge of both shoes, right about where the shoe tapers in on the bottom. It just felt too much on the bottom of the shoe on each side was pinching. It was uncomfortable. But, oh so close. The Ghost 11 4E fit like a glove from the moment I put it on. I've purchased 4 or 5 of them! They are all getting old now... booooooo!

Great shoe. Lots of cushion. BUT for this version the sizing is half size small. All my Brooks I wear a sz 10 I’ve always got sz 10 for my ghost these are definitely a half size smaller. Ordered a 10 and my toes were cramped at the tip of the shoe then ordered a 10.5, it did feel better BUT it also felt too big even with my powerstep insoles. Returned them for that reason.

I was trying to replace my Ghost 11s. I thought the 13 were tighter and must less cushion.

I’m don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to express my disappointment. I own a pair of Ghost 12s and love them. They have a nice roomy toe box, snug around the heel, and are supportive at the arch (I have medium arches). My problem with the 13 is simple. The sole of the shoe has become too “cushy”. They feel fine while running, walking, or jumping but as soon as I decide to stand in place the shoe will rock to one side or the other. The rocking motion causes increased pressure on my arches. I can’t get through a full day without my arches hurting. I have resorted to return these and go back to my 12s. My new shoe search continues...
