Brooks have become a scam and they know it. I got these today and am returning. The owners are running this company into the ground and do not care about customers; just short term profits. Let's quick pretending it's a one time mistake. Brooks now makes inferior products across the board. What's worse, they only have 1 or 2 colors available. Scammers.

The sole ripped off in less than 2 weeks after buying them. Customer service sent me a new pair to replace them but I still have doubts they will be better than the first pair

Way too narrow. I bought a black and a white pair and both kill my feet after extended wear time. The Beast I had worn for 2 years wear so much better. I wish I would have never ordered them.

I have flat feet. I wear wide-width (EE) shoes to help with that. I have owned the Ghost 10 and Ghost 11 shoes. I have loved both and planned to get the 12's but didn't find an EE size when it came time, so I decided to go to the newest, 13. I am so disappointed. Putting them on I immediately knew something was off. They didn't feel like a true-wide shoe. The arch felt too high. I took a few steps on my carpet and felt like I was wearing platform shoes or what it might feel like wearing high heels? Even my wife looked at me and said "you're walking funny." It's hard to explain but unfortunately, I had to put them back in the box immediately. Very disappointed as I was hoping I'd find another perfect shoe for my feet. My Ghost 11's are nearing the end of their life and I need some new ones soon.

Sole is not good. I barely used only for 20 days walking for few miles and i see the sole wear off very easily. Not sure if this is common or my bad luck !

I loved the Ghost 10, 11, and 12 (all outstanding), but the 13 has been a disappointment. The 4E width is not quite what it used to be, and this latest version doesn't provide the same support -- my feet, knees, and even hips will start to ache after approximately 8 miles, then I'll switch shoes and the aching will go away. I've run approximately 80 miles in this pair. There hasn't been any improvement. Earlier versions of the Ghost didn't have these problems at all. I won't be buying another pair, or trying to trade in for a new pair, of the Ghost 13. i just don't want these on my feet.

This was for my husband. He has been wearing Ghost 11, size 12 4E. YOU CHANGED THE TOE BOX AND MADE IT SMALLER!!! Bad move. Have returned shoes. Your rep suggested another - but we'll be sending that back, too, as it doesn't fit correctly.

Avoid. Totally different shoes than the Ghost 12 (which was perfect). Too stiff now. Think it contributed to my calf strain. And they?re now smaller so order a half size up from whatever you wore with the Ghost 12?s (why do shoe companies do this!??). Not typically a reviewer but you emailed and wanted to know despite my having already contacted Brooks about returning them. I will say that the return process has been smooth so far.

I've ran in Ghosts for the last 5-6 years. Dozens of pairs, dozens of races, it's been my go to shoe for a long time. I put these on and the forefoot seemed narrower than last year, but the real problem started when I started running. Not only did the shoe mash my big toe into the others, but the shoe itself was like running in wooden shoes. Just no action at all, and the ride was jarring. I loved the previous models (the 12 was great), but I have to sit out the 13 and hope the 14 is better. Really disappointed with this shoe.

I bought them for my husband. He is mainly a walker and couldn't finish his walk because the back of his both heals had blisters from this shoe. Returned them.

Returned the Ghost 13 and order Ghost 12. I've had several pairs of 11's & 12's (I average 6-month/ 500 miles) The 13 rubbed both my Achilles tendinitis raw. 11's & 12's have never done that right out of the box.

The design of the Ghost 13 cosmetic wise is amazing, and it has the best cushioning. That being said Brooks extended the internal tape that runs along the tip of the shoe, so now it causes a very uncomfortable rub on all of my toes and causes ridiculous hot spots. The toe box also feels slightly more narrow.

Was gifted a pair so I guess I complain too much but the first pair rubbed the back of my heel absolutely raw after the first 5 mile run. I thought the problem might've been the size of the shoe so I exchanged them for a half size down. (A+ customer service by the way) Even with the smaller and better fitting size, the backs of my heels had red rubbed blisters. It's a shame I wanted to like them but I've never had this problem before

I didn't like it. I have been wearing the Ghost for a long time. They changed something that hurts my lower back and knee. I have a hard time finding shoes. I have had 5 knee surgeries, bunion surgery, and flat feet. Past Ghosts have been good for me with my inserts. I need to find a new shoe that will be good for my knees and back.
