Back of shoe rubs on Achilles and creates horrible blisters and bleeding. I now see there are several other users complaining of the same issue. Sadly, the shoes are rendered useless. Very disappointed.

I will never, ever understand why shoe companies take a great shoe (Ghost 12) and change it into a piece of junk like the 13. All it took was a heel change, now it rubs, chafes, and in less than 2 months wore out. I have to buy something else, 10.5 2E? My choices are slim.

This was a replacement for a pair of Ghost 11 that were great shoes. The reason for the selection of the Ghost 11 originally was that they were noted as being good for people with high arches. They did indeed fulfill that characteristic. For some reason, the Ghost 13 was extremely tight across the top. They were used with the OEM inserts, without the inserts at all and with some after market inserts. There was no way to get comfortable in them and, for some reason, the same running stride used with the Ghost 11 seem to trigger the symptoms of External Compartment Syndrome extremely bad from the very start of a run, to the very end.

I loved my old Brooks Ghost sneakers - these had ankle bleeding after 1 block.

This is not a shoe. It's man made fiber and glue; no leather to be seen. Let me know when you start making real shoes again like you did 20 years ago. You must think we are fools as you deposit your money in the bank.

Hot, tight, and uncomfortable. What happened to this series? Ghost 11 was a true 4E, and had so much more cushion. By the end of the day my feet are aching. Still waiting for them to break in but it’s futile.

I wear a size 12 and ordered a size 12, couldn't even get my foot in the shoe.

They were so small that I could not fit into them. I broke a plastic shoe horn trying to squeeze in.
