I really like these running shoes and the only reason I kept at four stars is I wish they had a wide shoe option. Really has been good on stopping knee pain after long endurance runs.

Was quite surprised the new 4 fit is not the same as the previous 3 model. The new shoe seems to fit tighter and feels like it doesn't have the same level of cushioning.

Good heal support - not as good front foot support. Potentially better for long distance running where not running at pace

Great shoe, light weight and supportive, even with the sock-like collar. Compared to the Revel 4, the ride returns less bounce so far, but is more comfortable overall. However the tongue is really long, and rides up over my sock on front. I run around 30 miles a week, and it fits true to size with all the other Brooks I have purchased. I would buy it again.

I have ran in these shoes for a few miles now and have been happy with the fit on my foot itself. The shoe feels like wearing a sock and is very comfortable. I have not put enough time to determine quality and longevity of these shoes. The sole is firm and responsive.

The comfort is good, well padded on the foot. I ordered the same size 11 medium as my Levitate 2, but it requires a lot of effort to pull them on as they are very narrow where the tongue is attached. The tongue doesn't extend to the bottom of the lacing, lacks much padding, is flat and slips to the side when wearing the shoe. The tongue on my Levitate 2 is thickly padded and conforms to the top curvature of my foot and stays perfectly centered when wearing them no matter how long I wear them; it also extends to the bottom of the lacing allowing me to open the shoe to easily slide my foot in.

After 2 months and about 30 miles of running in these shoes, The footbed is still rebounding well and provides some Energy to speed up turnovers. The only complaint is the heel seam in the sock-like upper. It has caused a blister and requires me to wear ankle socks to prevent the blisters.

Overall above average comfort. The top of shoe is a bit tight, limiting circulation. Have other Brooks in this size where that isn't an issue. Only noticed this issue when seated though, not during motion.

Hard to slip on. Laces need to unlace another row or two. Especially with a sock.

Super comfortable shoe, no weird abrading issues. Does not gain much weight when soaked. The only downside is traction is not the best in wetter conditions. This would definitely be a phenomenal summer shoe, but requires a bit of caution in the winter.

The reflectivity is great and I like running in these shoes. It isn't sloppy soft but is comfortable. The levitate 1 was my favorite shoe in the past 30 years. The fit is off in these so I use a 12 instead of 11 1/2 as I use with other Brooks shoes. The upper is streamlined which makes sense but I have to fiddle with it more when putting it on which I don't like. The insole is very thin and not easy to slip my orthotic under.

I like the spring and energy of the Levitate but they may not be the best fit for my foot. I don't think that is a shoe issue though. I always seem to size up in them. As far a night glow. They are great. I will finish them up this winter as I train for the Spring Marathon.

This is a very comfortable shoe. Runs true to size. The new sole design provides confidence in wet weather. I gave four stars because this levitate doesn't feel as springy as previous models. It's missing the liveliness I've come to expect from Levitate. If it wasn't for this I would have rated it 5 stars.

Overall, a decent trainer. These are more comfortable than the 3 version by far. Compared to the 3: it's a tiny bit lighter, the arches are more centered than toe forward. Most significantly, the toe box mesh is more structured so the foot doesn't slip through the mesh causing an ankle injury when the ground surface changes. Like in the earlier version, the foam material is hard enough to respond to a faster pace, but may become more uneasy during longer mileage days.

Amazing shoes, the comfort is outstanding, the energy return made me run much quicker without any added effort. I'm coming from wearing ghosts for over 10 years and the transition was as smooth and natural as it could be. There is one negative point though, they don't last too long. I wore the rubber (evenly) within a month or around 180 miles. I wish they lasted at least 3 times that.

Great looking shoes, just not the right fit for me. I am returning mine to get the Ghost, as I need a little more cushion than these provide. They were also a little snug, but this could be remedied by getting a larger size.

Great shoe! The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that they do rub my ankle slightly if wearing short socks (no blisters yet, just a red spot... maybe they will get better with more time/miles??). Other than that, they are incredibly light and feel great on my feet! Almost a perfect shoe! **Disclaimer** I'm not a competitive runner (only about 2 miles a couple times per week) so I can only review these for short runs. I was running in fresh foam ROAV's before if anyone wondered. Also, I have read several reviews that mention theses shoes are too tight. I have a narrow foot so they fit me perfectly. Feel true to size.

The heel area is narrow. Hard to explain but it made the fit uncomfortable. I normally wear the Ghost or Glycerin and they fit great. The Levitate was a comfortable shoe, no doubt, just the heel fits wear for me. Loved the color way of black and gold.
