Fits me like a glove, and way lighter & less clunky than the Levitate 2's that were my previous sneakers. I run 12-15 miles per week. So far- pretty pleased.

I've owned seven pairs of the levitate 2, three pairs of the levitate 3, and I can honestly say without a doubt, this is my absolute favorite of the levitate series. I've seen a lot of disagreement with the upper and that many people find it to be too narrow. It's all preference. Personally, I love a really snug tight toe box. I like the shoe to feel like it's apart of me and not a tool that i'm using. Also, I've seen many people complain that the levitates are too hard on the ground and has heavy impact. If this is the case, the levitates might not be for you and you may need to be in one of the "cushion" types. The reason the levitates are great for me is because I usually do my base runs at about 6:40-7:00 per mile pace and I have a cadence of about 164, which means i'm really kicking off hard and getting the full spring effect, which not all people experience.

The only thing that I didn’t like the most is the laces. It bugs me when running then they come undone. Over great show I would get half size bigger that way it’s not to tight on your foot. But I got flat feet so it might different for other people. I would buy another pair as soon I can save some more money.

Great for more pop in your run. I have several brooks shoes and I usually run in my ghosts. I don?t use the levitate everyday. When I want to race or run hard for time I use the levitate, so much more spring in my step. It is harder on your body, but faster than the ghosts.

I had the pleasure of being able to trial the new Levitate 4 and I was amazed at the construction and comfort of the sneaker. I am a 40-50 mile a week runner, and have always ran in ghost and adrenaline exclusively over the past few years. I never felt the need to try anything else because they have consistently performed amazingly well for my needs. By given the opportunity to trial the Levitate for free,by Brooks, gave me an opportunity for a change. After running in them for three days, I?m impressed. They feel overall significantly lighter then the ghost and adrenalines because of the thin uppers, which really preserve energy during the run. The thinness gives a feel that they are molded to your foot, which was a change for me, but I must say I really liked the feel. The cushioning feels lighter and somewhat thinner but still provides excellent support and comfort. I was really impressed on how light they felt running from what I have been use to. I plan on definitely adding these to my rotation of Brooks sneakers.

I wore the Levitates 1-3 and found the 4 to be the best yet. I stopped wearing them because of quick wear on the outsole and switched to Ghosts. The outsole seems improved. I got a pair on clearance and love the feel of them.

It's a good running shoe, but I believe this shoe is only for people who have flat feet. I have a high arch in my feet so the shoe didn't work on me but it's probably a way better shoe for a flat footed person.

Helped a lot with overall comfort. Actually feels good to take one step after the other with minimal shock from the ground. Have to unlace slightly / pull back the tongue to put on for exact sizes but still fits.

The amount of energy return from this shoe is not enough to justify its weight. Otherwise, it fits well and is comfortable.

Fits snug, but comfortable to run in. I don't like the tight tongue design that has to be "tucked in" on both sides every time before tying the laces. Otherwise another great Brooks running shoe!

Ordered these shoes after running in the Levitate 3. My first issue with these shoes were that they are much smaller in the toe box area than the 3, so my feet felt much more constrained - particularly on long runs where you may want to stretch your toes a bit. I will say that perhaps if you order a size larger than what you would normally wear they may be a better fit. Another issue I found was that they lacked the support for long runs that the 3 had. I usually replace my insoles with superfeet insoles immediately upon getting the shoe and there was very limited cushion or bounce on the road. After trying them out for a few runs I noticed my knee hurting and my achilles hurting - which upon no longer wearing these shoes the pain on both went away. I ended up sending the shoes back - I love Brooks and will always wear them, but I think this shoe is perhaps better in either one size larger than what you normally wear or if you are doing shorter runs.

I've been an avid user of the Pureflows for years dating back to the Pureflow 3s. My Pureflow 7s had been worn out now so I was looking for a replacement. I was quite disappointed to see that the Pureflows had been discontinued but saw that Brooks recommended the Levitate experience line as a replacement. I was initially skeptical - as I loved the 4mm drop and comfort of the Pureflows - but I have grown to really like these Levitates. It is a better, more snug fit around my foot that manages to feel more secure than the Pureflows, however I did have to go a half size up from my normal size. Despite my initial reluctance, the 8mm offset on the Levitates is just low enough that I still very much strike on my midfoot which was pivotal for me having moved away from 12mm offset shoes that essentially forced me to heel strike. They are not quite as comfortable as the Pureflows because the cushion is firmer (responsive) and because there are some problems around the heel area which isn't as comfortable as it could be. Nevertheless, they are still fairly comfortable and I do find that running in these is easier due to the firm, bouncy cushion. I am also a huge fan of the black/gold color. These might be my favorite looking pair of Brooks I've ever owned. Overall, I am very pleased with these shoes and would recommend them as Brooks alternative to the Pureflows. In particular, I would recommend them over the Launch with its 10mm offset if you really value midfoot striking as I found those to have too high of an offset for midfoot striking.

I bought these for my son because this is my favorite style. He likes them but they fit differently than the Ghost style. I think he will like them as much though, and look at that color!

Good walking shoe. A little soft. Not a ton of support. As a 220 lb runner I couldn?t use these to jog as not adequate support. Custom orthotics fit. Toe box roomy enough.
