I have worn Asics for years. It is the only athletic shoe I buy. However, the material on the top of this shoe is getting a hole in it after less than one month of wear ! And the shoes are only worn during walks in the woods.

These shoes had very little arch support and my feet and knees ended up hurting very bad after wearing them for a month.

These were without a doubt some of the most uncomfortable Asics shoes I've ever worn. I usually wear this style, normally they have always fit great. I could barely get these on, and even though there was plenty of toe room, they were too tight everywhere else. They didn't seem like the shoes I've worn for years now. I use these for my very active job as a HCW and need to have shoes that don't leave my feet feeling tired, pinched and sore at the end of the day.

I've been a fan of the Gel-Cumulus since Gel-Cumulus 8. I bought these to replace my Cumulus-21. Holy crap. These shoes sucks. Took them for two runs for a total of 6 miles. The toe box is too narrow and the shoe is too short. I'm always a size 8 in these shoes. My big toes and pinky toes were sore after each run. I want my money back!!

This is my 4th pair of the Cumulus shoes I ordered the exact same size I've always worn. They were too tight so I loosened the laces and helped a little but then I started walking and my feet hurt SOOOO bad. I couldn't return them because the tags had been removed, obviously had to in order to put them on, and had been worn which you have to do to make sure they are comfortable. Somethings have definitely been changed in the design.

Asics are great for tired hurting feet but these wore a hole in them in 2 months. Not a good thing when you are paying such a high price.

My wife bought a pair in a NYC store and LOVED them. So we ordered another on line and it was not the same fit - had to send them back.

ASICS has once again changed this shoe and it no longer fits my foot. They scrimped on the material used in the tongue so much that it doesn't fit under the laces across my arch. It applies pressure right at the bunion point on my foot and no matter how much I loosen the laces, I can't avoid that pressure. I am so disappointed - I've worn these shoes for years but I'm switching to Brooks for my next shoe. Wish I could return these!

I wish I could trade them for Nimbus... wasted money getting Cumulus when Nimbus would be better for my high arches, heel pain, and plantar fasciitis

So I originally had wanted the ASICS Gel-Flux 4, because that's what I've had for 2 years and they worked so well for my bad knees and morton's neuroma issues. But those were not available. So I switched to the Gel Cumulus. But I am getting terrible knee pain not just with running but also with long walks. It is awful. I would like a refund - is that an option? And I would like to ask if you have the ASICS Gel-Flux 4 or anything similar to those?

I sent these shoes back for two reasons. First, I thought I was getting red shoes but they were more orange. Second, they were tight!! Fit way too small.

I have ordered Asics for 30 years and loved them. I ordered these - very disappointed. They run really small almost a whole size smaller and the laces are so short I can barely tie them. Not sure I would order online again - the sizing is way off.

Every time I order the same shoe only in a different color, the fit is different every time. This is the 3rd time. This one specifically I can't even wear.

Most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Still trying to break them in. They run small.

The Cumulus model has been my go to running shoe for years. I’ve never had a problem until this year. So disappointed with these shoes. They were narrow and tight throughout the body of the shoe. The top of the shoe felt oddly short and slipped off my heel. Going back and will try out another model this year.

These felt nothing like the ones I tried on at a local store. The toe box was way too big, the laces so short that I could barely get a bow in them, completely off in every way. I love ASICS but this pair sadly did not work and they are going back.

They changed the shoe and now it flips on your heel. Can't even tie it to make it stop because the laces are so short.

This is my 5th pair of gel cumulus. I haven't replaced since number 17 which were my faves. I purchased my usual size 8.5. The material is totally different. The toe box is short and so so tight. Also the shoelace is so short and skimpy that I couldn't tie it. When did you change the size? I tried wearing them in the house and wound up with numb toes and huge pain in the center of where my metatarsald meet phalanx. The underside of the shoe is the best ever, but the sizing is so off. I don't know what to try next. Do I get larger size? do I get wider size?

I bought the shoes in June and now in November they already are torn on the side. I was wearing it normally to walk, I didn't do any tracks or anything aggressive. The tear is on both sides. Very poor quality. Not expected from an Asics shoes.

I love ASICS, they are the only sneakers I wear. Unfortunately, this pair of sneakers doesn't live up to the quality I am used to from ASICS. The treads are coming off of the bottoms. I work in healthcare and am on my feet most of the day.

I always used to wear the Asics Landreth. When they discontinued those, I switched to Cumulus. After model 17, the fit radically changed. I thought the wide would help, but these are not at all like the 17's that I've been continuing to wear. The sole is very tall, they felt too cushy. I prefer a more minimalist shoe.

Fit and size I was familiar with. I am a size 8 1/2 but always order a 9 in running shoes. I already have a pair of this ASICS style and wanted the grey/blue. Unfortunately, I received grey/dark teal. Very odd. It wasn’t even one of the other color choices. Another reviewer had the same issue. Sent them back.

I'd have ordered a pair, probably two, except that they don't come in size 5. Small feet need love, too!
