I work healthcare and I am on my feet all day standing and walking. These don't have the support I was hoping for. My heals hurt so bad by the end of the day, I could barely walk. They also do not breath well. I have never had sweat problems with my feet, until these. These will be good for more walking short times, rather all day.

I ordered my normal size but this specific pair did not fit properly. The fit is too tight and it hurts my toes. I will be returning them. I had a different pair last year and I loved them, best shoes I had for work.

I have been buying these for years but this model is much smaller. I would order 1/2 size up next time

Not great. I should have listened to the other reviews. But I've worn Asics Gel-cumulus for SO many years that I didn't think I'd have an issue. The shoes run small for their size. Even with the laces as loose as possible they are difficult to get on because they are very narrow. I bought them online without trying them on first but I've bought every pair online for years and never had an issue (and yes, I know to go up one size for athletic shoes). I thought maybe they needed to be broken in but I've never had to break in a pair before. Nope, they're still not great. 2 stars only because they are exceptionally lightweight. Seriously not happy with this purchase.

They are very narrow. My 'normal' shoe size is 9.5, I ordered size 10. My daughter wears a size 8 and these fit her.

I bought the same size as every other Asics running shoe I've ever bought and am greatly disappointed with this particular shoe. It is way too tight creating a very uncomfortable feeling. I've tried wearing thinner running socks with them and they're still tight in the front area. I've had to loosen the strings a ridiculous amount just to be able to wear them comfortably. I would have returned them but needed them for work and couldn't go without for the time it would take to process the return.

I am a loyal ASICS fan-avid runner and nurse. I have tried so hard to like these. They are not a good shoe. I always wear a 10. They are small, narrow, and the toe box is a terrible shape. Walking in them is uncomfortable. I've never had a pair of ASICS I didn't like. I'd send them back if I hadn't worn them.

The Gel-cumulus has been my go-to shoe for several years, and I have always worn a 9M. That was what I ordered this time, but it was so narrow that I had trouble even getting the shoe on my foot and it seemed a bit long as well. Needless to say, these were returned. I will need to go into a shoe store where I can try on before buying. I will miss just being able to order them. (The shoe looked good; I really liked the monochromatic look.)

I am a long time Cumulus wearer with narrow feet. The toe box is now a little too tight around the widest part of my foot. Within 100 miles, the inside of the shoe began to wear so that my socks were visible and now at around 150 miles there are holes along the toe cap. I've been running indoors on a treadmill, so this is not shoe abuse. These shoes are just not durable. I've purchased a second pair and I'm hoping that this is just a fluke, but it seems like a problem with how narrow the toe box is. (And sadly, the wide toe box of Asics was one of the best features.) Cushion and shape is otherwise ok.

Gel cumulus 22 is completely different from gel cumulus 21. Shoe laces are thin and almost too short. Also new model is not as much cushion / support as 21 model. Recommend ASICS return to the previous years shoe model.

Rolls foot outward which is not what I wanted. This creates pressure and inbalaces.

I can give this a 2 star review since the cut has changed since my last purchase of Gel-Cumulus 20. The foot bed is narrow and cramps my medium width foot. It was returned. I miss my go-to Asics.

the heel and arch are super, but the toe box is annoyingly narrow on the big toe side.

I have worn Asics for my last 5 pairs of running shoes. The Cumulus 20 and the Cumulus 21 both fit great, wide enough in the toe box and narrow in the heel. The Cumulus 22 is a completely different shoe. It is much narrower in the toe and heel, the shoe is hard to squeeze my foot into. The sizing is definitely tighter than previous versions of this shoe. Also, and this is minor, but the shoelaces are inches too short. I've had to relace them to skip holes just to get them to tie. Very disappointed. Can Asics be convinced to restore their previous shoe design, which was awesome?

The shoe is great but I bought more than one pair and there is inconsistency between pairs in fit.

I have been running for 40 years and ASICs has been my go-to running shoe for half that time. But this pair disappointed. It was if all dimensions had been paired down by 1/8-1/4 inch. The laces were short when I got them tied, and the tie looked stretched across my foot. All earlier shoes had tied closely with long laces left. Asics changes its model numbers frequently so I have had to ask, each time I need a pair, which shoe would best replicate the previous model - so this was not a matter of picking the wrong shoe.

This is my 3rd pair in this brand. Not happy with this purchase. Very uncomfortable. Heel pain 3 days in...a scratching feeling side of right heel. Not sure why my last 2 pairs were wonderful and there are unbearable.

The back was so low on my heel that my foot slipped out with every step. I wear a size 11 and it may be that the heel isn't sized up correctly. I'm also not sure the quality was worth the cost...

Ball of the feet feel restricted and ball of feet hurt or nearly fall asleep. Love the look, but as far as running shoes...I've already left them behind after a few weeks. Not the same as prior ASICS which I wore for a 1/2. Training for marathon and need something else.

I have always bought Asics shoes for their comfort and style. Unfortunately, lately I am finding it impossible to find an Asics shoe that has good arch support and comfort. This shoe looks great and has good arch support, but is way too narrow at the toe for my regular width feet.

They fit very tight. I've had to make myself wear them a little at a time in hopes that they stretch out. I miss my Gel Quantum 180s.
