Too narrow and laces too short! I sized up a half size based on the reviews but these shoes were too narrow and had to be returned. Too bad because the stability for my high arches was great.

Everything was good except my heel keep sliding up I guess because I wear orthotics. Other than that they were nice

I used to run in these for their support and cushion with a wide toe box..not sure why you went so narrow in newer models

I LOVE these shoes. They have been incredibly comfortable since day one. I've had them for 11 months, and about 2 months ago one shoe started to develop a small tear/hole just in front of where my pinky toe reaches. I wear these at work most days, sometimes on my feet for 8-10 hours. I figured I must have caught the shoe on something... but there there are others who have complained about tears developing in the same location. There's a slight change to the fabric there, which seems like it is a weakness in their design. Originally came back on here to buy the same shoes, but now knowing that they didn't even last a year because of an issue others have also seen--I'm going to look at other options.

If you're used to the Gel Cumulus 21, beware that the 22s do not fit like the 21s. The 22s fit more snuggly than the 21s, and the shoelaces on the 22s are shorter than the 21s.

As a former Asics devotee, I think I'm done after this pair. The sizing isn't the same and I chose to keep the pair that was a bit loose. I'm not happy- they're clunky.

I bought this shoe and the Novablast. This shoe doesn't give me the comfort or stability like the Novablast does. Felt extremely small/tight, even though I ordered the same size as the Novablast. Both seem to adapt to my foot after 2nd wear but this one still is harder to get on. I won't buy this one again but I will buy Novablast. Am anxious to try out Novablast Platinum.

The cushioning in these shoes is great. I saw ratings that said they ran small and tight and the shoe laces were short. This turned out to be true. They fit, but snugly. I expect my big to to go through the toe of the shoe before they wear out. The shoe laces are anything but generous although I can still lace them with the extra loops and tie them. Not one of my better Asics choices. If you wear a 10, order a 10.5. Better yet, go to the store and try them on.

Returning, way to narrow when compared to my earlier versions of Gel-Cummulus. I usually just order and they fit perfect. Not sure if my foot just got fat?!! I have 4 pairs of older Gel-Cumulus that I can still wear, the tread is just worn on them.

comfortable and stylish. However, I gave only 3 stars because though they are lightweight, the mesh isn’t very durable. my pinky toe tore a hole in the mesh after 3 mos of wear as a server.

I bought these last week. I've wear Asics Gel Cumulus as daily footwear and for running as well. Obviously I like them on the whole! This is my 4th pair but my first Cumulus 22. They feel narrower in the toe box than the 21. The laces are too short to relace into an ankle lock configuration.

Great shoe; love ASICS, but these run a bit smaller than my other pairs.

Very narrow. I laughed at other reviews about short laces but they are so short I'd buy another pair if I could. This shoe just isn't as good as it's predecessor.

Asics made in Vietnam (which this pair was NOT) are of better quality and more comfort than those made elsewhere. This pair and another ASICS pair I just bought (same style, different color) were both made in Indonesia.

Asics is my favorite running shoe, I usually purchase them in a store so I can try them on. Yet, this time I ordered them online and they fit great! The only thing is that the laces are so short I can barely tie them without cutting my circulation off in my feet. This is why I only gave them a 3 review. I kind-a need blood to my feet. (This is the first time I've had a problem with their laces being too short).

This fits me well and supports my high arches, but they just don't last. The past few were like that too. After a few weeks they wear out. I walk 1-3 miles a day which I don't think is super high use. I'd rather pay more and have the shoes last longer.

I ordered my regular size 8. They felt true to size and width although I had a weird feeling as if my heels were slipping upward slightly as I walked. I have fairly low arches and in that regard, they were okay - not too high for comfort. The overall level of cushioning was fine. The biggest plus is that they are great looking, but I returned them in search of a shoe with better overall fit. .

I'm not sure what is going on with athletic shoes lately but I've purchased 2 different brands over the last 2 years. When I find a pair that fit great and feel good on my feet I reorder a 2nd pair after 3 or 4 months and the same size is too small. The only difference being is that don't always have the same color. It has happen again with this brand. I ordered 2 pair this time because it seems a new version comes out every 6 months and I wanted to have my next pair without all the searching...now I have 2 pair that are too small.. When I switched to this brand I ordered two sizes and the next size up was definitely to big. So frustrating.

Love the bright color and cushioning. The shoe runs very small. I've worn ASICS for years and always worn the same size. But these are short.

The toe box is tight. I returned my first pair and then ordered the next size up. As I expected, now there is extra room in the heel and the overall fit in to front is still snug. This is the first pair of Asics I've had this much trouble with and I've been buying them for several years.

Size fit perfect, and I’m so torn. They are very cute shoes, but a week into wearing them, and my feet are so sore! I’ve tried gel inserts, but my feet ache!! I know it can take time to “break in” shoes, but I don’t remember that process being so painful!
