Although I have quite a few heavy duty down jackets for Colorado winters, I wanted a warm winter coat that was a little more durable in wet weather and the Icelandite jacket keeps me warm and dry. The fit is as expected for an XS (I do wish Columbia would make their longer coats available in and XXS but the XS fits well enough even for someone of slight build) and the adjustable belt at the back means I can tighten it when wearing fewer layers or loosen it if wearing bulkier layers.

warm and back is adjustable if you are narrow and want to make it less wide.

Love this coat! Super warm and so many ways to adjust the fit. The fur on the hood is super cute but can also be taken off because who needs that part in the snow?

This jacket is beautiful and warm! The windshield in this jacket is amazing- sturdy feeling on the outside but like a cozy down blanket on the inside. The color is the perfect shade, and it also zips up high to cover your chin on those excruciatingly cold arctic days. All in all, I am beyond pleased with this purchase!

When I purchased this coat, I was looking for a warm coat for the winter. I love this coat. Not only is it warm but it looks great. I would recommend it to anyone (and I already have).

I love this coat! It is the perfect long length for great warmth on leg and tush in blowing cold wind and snow. I also love the Sherpa lined collar, makes it so comfortable. The hood is big and really blocks the wind, which I love because I'm not a hat person. The quilted interior is super cozy. It's weighted more than some coats, but this can really handle the cold!

Bought this coat for my wife as a Christmas gift. We live in Minnesota and she is ALWAYS cold. She loved the style and fit and said that it is the first coat she has worn in a long time that actually keeps her warm.

Shopping online is difficult to determine fit or quality. I'm heading to Iceland on vacation and had read so many reviews from other travelers raving about the OMNI heat technology from Columbia, so that narrowed the brand. I chose this jacket because of the length, easy access pockets, features like the fitted cuffs, hood with removable faux fur lining, and tech/performance specs. From the moment I opened the package, I've been in love! This is the PERFECT winter coat. The fit is snug without being tight (no air gaps), I love the length, and it is warm without overheating. I tested her out on a recent trip to the upper Midwest with temps below zero and I was impressed with how warm and dry I stayed, even in heavy snow. 10/10 buy this jacket. I've recommended to others and they love it as well!

I was looking for a warm down jacket that also looked professional. So many of the warmest down jackets look like puffy ski wear. This jacket has a nice appearance with the sherpa neck and cuffed sleeves. The inner layer is a remarkable idea: it reflects your body heat very quickly. Nice !

My daughter needed a warm winter coat and she picked this out online and I ordered it for her Christmas present. It surpassed her and my expectations. It is extremely well-made, warm and practical. One of the best purchases she and I made.

I bought this coat with plans to wear it to a Bills game in December. Temperatures were around 20, high winds abd windchills in the single digits. I was outdoors for approximately 7 hours and never got cold. This coat did not disappoint, highly recommend! True to size but if you plan lots of layers, might want to size up. Measurements in size chart were on point.

Love my new jacket! It arrived just in time for me to wear it during a recent cold snap. The wind chill was minus four, but I was warm and comfortable outside doing holiday errands. And looking good! Highly recommended !

This coat! I don't think I have enough room to BRAG about this amazing WARM coat. It is by far warmer than the description. It is beyond comfortable; it feels like you are wrapped in a blanket and snuggled to the softest material. After 6 years of searching and buying, I FINALLY FOUND THE ONE!!!

Got this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it! Powers through the cold Chicago winter without issue.

I really love this jacket. It's incredibly warm and seems as if it will be durable. Water beads right up and rolls off, although I wouldn't plan to wear this when it's warm enough for rain. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs. I am between an XS and S and I went with the XS in this jacket. If you want room to layer more than one long sleeve sweatshirt or sweater, size up as the arms will be tight. If you want a more fitted look (because this is a lot of jacket!) Go with your usual size. My ONLY complaint is the fur around the hood is a little cheap looking. It's not as fluffy as the photo, and for the cost of the jacket, I would have expected something fuller and a little less matted down.

Great coat. The omni heat liner is incredible. The length is good, particularly helpful when wife is wearing leggings. High quality materials and overall great fit.

This winter cost is a must have on the most frigid day not only is it light wind and water proof i it's unique insulation not only keeps out the cold but feeds off of one own body heat. I'm surely glad I came to Columbia.
