Best winter jacket I've worn in years! I bought a second one in another color! I have a few of the competitors jackets and this one is by far the best compared to the others and the price point is significantly better. I highly recommend this jacket comfortable & warm.

I bought this jacket for my travels to the east coast and I do love how warm it keeps me. I like how I can cinch the back so the jacket doesn't look dumpy.

I LOVE this coat! It is so warm and has great coverage of my upper legs. The fit is as expected and I am no longer cold walking the dog.

This coat is so comfy and warm! I have worn it for a few different occasions and have been warm when people say they are still cold in their non-Columbia coats!

After getting this coat, I will forever look to Columbia for my future Winter needs. This is so well made, perfectly envelops without constricting, and is both lightweight and heavy duty at the same time. Perfect for Chicago winters. The belt in the back also gives a nice shape when you tighten it to the right size for you. Absolutely love it! Side note: I was in a car accident while wearing this coat and it seriously protected my chest from impact so thank you, Columbia!

Wow warm for those -20 days! Living in the north I was looking for a seriously warm jacket for those weeks of negative temps. This jacket does it without breaking the bank.

I loved the color first but then began to appreciate the sherpa type lining on the color, warm and soft on the back of my neck. The coat stops the wind and keeps me warm.

This is my first winter jacket from Columbia. I'm usually between XS/S on top size and I've purchase both XS and S. For reference I'm usually size 4 (34D/28/36) 5'6". I'm from a warm state, our winter low temp is usually above 40F, purchased this jacket for going up north where it's currently between 20-30F. I can't advise on the warmth yet but it is a heavy duty jacket (for me). I let the jacket air out from the package for few days so it gets its fluff. This is no way a sleek jacket, you will look bulky. XS fits me fine when I tried it on over a long base coat and a Columbia fleece, I look less bulky and I look borderline slim . However I decide to keep S even though I look like I got swallowed by the jacket with layers underneath. Reason being, I have more room for additional layer if needed (I'm cold natured) and also for comfort on the chest area.

At first I was very sad to return a parka with a broken zipper back to Columbia because I loved that parka. They weren't able to fix it so they sent me a credit for a new one. I found this one and I never expected a new parka to outshine my last one. WOW!! It is incredibly thick and soft. When I drive I notice the extra cushion as I sit on it because it is long enough to cover up to part of my legs. I love the fleece lining at the neck and the faux fur. I have never had these on a coat before but it def helps with protecting your neck and chin from being cold or scratched from the zipper or fabric when you zip it all the way up. The faux fur also keeps the heat in and the cold out, I was going to keep the faux fur off the parka because I'm just not a fan of it, but I will be keeping it on because I get it now. I didn't even feel cold where the parka covered me. Worth the investment if you buy it and Columbia's warranty program has made me a lifelong customer. Thank you for your wonderful customer service and speedy credit to replace my parka.

Very warm. You notice it as soon as you put it on. We are having warmer than normal weather right now, usually have a few December storms so can't give a good review.

This jacket is exactly what I wanted in a winter jacket. I am a pretty true medium and that's what I ordered. I honestly could've probably gotten away with a small, but I look the roominess of the medium since I can wear a heavier sweatshirt or sweater with it more comfortably. It has 5 pockets and the four on the front are fleece lined which is an awesome addition. The fifth pocket is on the inside and fits my phone with room to spare. I like that the fur on the hood is removable. It's a very warm jacket and covers my bum, which is always nice, especially since I'm 5'9" and jackets don't always cover it. Overall, this is exactly what I was looking for in a jacket.

Fits well, adjustable hood so it doesn't fall over face, fabric is comfortable not stiff, did not wear in the cold yet so not sure about warmth.

I purchased this jacket in the beach color, it's just like picture, really pretty, it really is SO warm!! But the XL feels more like a XXL, every coat I own is XL, so just fyi, it's too baggy , I reordered it in a Large. Beautiful coat and their customer service is so nice as well. Love all the buttons it has in the front and the belt detail.

Love this coat! I have worn it for a few days now and it's so warm. I feel like often winter coats have sleeves that are too short and this one has ones that are plenty long. And I love the length of the coat and that it can unzip from the bottom for when I'm driving. Definitely recommend!

Love this coat- so warm and soft. First i sized up (sweater weather) but it was WAY to big. Returned and reordered for my regular winter coat size and it fits great with room for sweaters without being too snug especially in the arms. Highly recommend for cold Illinois winters. I'm 5'2 170lbs and the Large fits great without making you look bigger than you'd like.

I live in North Dakota where the Winters get to -50F. I was looking for a functional everyday coat. This is amazing. It is super comfortable and soft. So far it is good to 0 degrees (I had had it for 1 month and that has been our lowest temp so far, but I have no doubt it will be plenty warm for all my needs). It seems very durable and it has plenty of pockets and depth (I don't need a purse with all these pockets!). Super Satisfied with my purchase.

I just moved back to Alaska from Hawaii and needed a WARM winter jacket and this one was absolutely PERFECT. It is waterPROOF, windPROOF, functional, VERY warm, practical, high quality, and surprisingly not as heavy as I would have thought judging from previous reviews I read! The design is very similar to what you would find in a traditional Alaska Native Parka (which I LOVE) with large zippered midsection pockets, an inside zippered pocket, and snap closure waist pockets. I also love the button closure over the heavy duty 2-way zipper that can be zipped from the top and bottom. I am 5'2" and 184 lbs with the majority of my weight distribution in my mid section and thighs and was worried I didn't get the correct size after reading all the reviews. My Bust is 45 in, Waist 40 in, Hips 44.5 in, Shoulders 17 in. I hope my measurements are helpful for future customers so you don't have to endlessly scroll through ALL of the reviews to decide on a size, or have to call customer service for exact size measurements because their size "estimator" is NOT helpful AT ALL as I do not wear ANY of those brands. I purchased an XL and it fits perfectly with enough room to layer a thick hoodie underneath, which is EXACTLY what I wanted. I can also synch up the back when I am not layering to get the perfect fit EVERY TIME! Lastly, the color is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It is a perfect red wine color that deflects from "wear" stains (the type of blackish stains you would typically see around the wrists from prolonged wear and not washing). I also LOVE the fact that you can leave on or remove the "fo-fur" on the hood which is EXTREMELY nice when it comes to washing because over time fofur will typically start to look clumpy and cheap if washed too many times. The ONLY 2 things I wish this jacket had that would make it ABSOLUTE PERFECTION is: 1) A button up waist elastic to keep cool air from flowing up from the bottom (like the ones typically seen in snowboarding jackets). I am not a fan of the inside "string type" synchs and find these cheap, not practical, and alter the outside look of the jacket. If your gonna go all out in perfecting this jacket, you mine as well do it right. 2) Continue the omni-heat technology ALL the way down the arms like you do in the Men's Turbo-Down jacket.

Great coat. So many compliments on it. It is true to size and very warm. Wore it in negative degree weather and it kept me warm. My only complaint is the feathers that come out here and there.
