The Echelon 8's in D-width are wide through the mid-sole but still snug at the ankle, which is perfect if you have a wide foot but a narrow ankle. They have a fair amount of cushion. I didn't think I would like color, but once I saw it at home, I changed my mind.

These are larger in the toe box than the Brooks I was wearing. I've just gotten new orthotics & they made them wider to support my foot, which made them fit really well. They are super comfortable. I have severe arthritis in my feet & they feel wonderful.

Best sneakers I have ever owned! I have a wide foot and heel pain most of the time and normally don’t want to wear any shoes beside Birkenstock’s. These shoes are so amazing that my Birkenstock’s are getting a much needed break. Every time I put them on I spend about 5 mins saying how comfortable they are to anyone that is around. The toe box is ample and the heel support is nothing short of amazing! Treat yo’self and get these sneakers!

Nice roomy toebox--a must for me. I have worn a few times now without my inserts & all is well--but I think there will be plenty of room in the shoe to use them should I decide to (for more arch support).

Really nice shoes with removable insoles. They are very comfortable and have a roomy toe box. Would recommend these to anyone with wide feet and if you need orthotics.

I've been a Brooks devotee for years, but my last pair didn't seem to hold up too well. I have problem feet (use orthotics in my sneakers), and this Saucony style has been super comfortable! Highly recommend.

Fit: I measure a woman's size 8.5 wide. Usually, if a shoe I want doesn't come in wide, I'll buy size 10 medium to accommodate for width. The Saucony Ech 8 accommodates my wide foot in the regular, medium width, AND up 1/2 a size (size 9). So, I suggest sizing up a 1/2 size and should know that it is probably a bit wider than another similar walking shoe. Comfort: Amazing. They have a very thick, cushy sole and insert. So even with my foot issues, I feel no pain on my long training walks. This is my 4th pair of these Ech 8 (I previously owned Echelon 7 which were good but not quite as amazing). The Ech 8 have fat ortho-like inserts inside that stay put but can be pulled out (if you want to put your own in). They make training for 1/2 marathon (fast walking) completely doable. Durability: The first two pairs (which I purchased 1 year ago and have trained for and raced 2 half marathons in) are still going strong. I just wanted to grab 2 more pairs now because I don't want to have to search for replacements when that time comes. I have hiked dirt trails with these and when they got muddy I actually washed them in our washer (then let them air dry). While this is probably not recommended, they held up beautifully.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've had in awhile. Although I love Saucony shoes overall, these feel more like a slipper on my feet then a sneaker. They are a flatter shoe, not a running shoe. Great for walking and every day wear. They are a little wider, which for my feet, feels great. I don't like tight shoes. They hug my feet and support my legs and back all day long. The support have lasted a good 6 months before showing signs of fatigue, where as other styles give out after 4 months.

I have an overall narrow foot, but love the room for my toes to spread out in these shoes. This is my third pair.

I'm thrilled with these shoes for cross training and walking. I was able to slip my orthotics (for pronation, bunion) in and there was no time needed for breaking in. It was great to be back to a true straight last. The shoe laces are great , too, as once they are tied, I don't need to adjust after a few minutes. Thank you Saucony. I've already ordered another 2 pairs.
