I had purchased a couple pairs of Echelon7 a few years ago and absolutely loved them so I went back and bought 2 more to have when the first ones wore out. I started having some issues with my right foot so after wearing a "boot" for 4 weeks I pulled out my new Echelons. The black pair are Echelon 8 and they are feeling so GOOD! I ended up buying a pair in every color. I pray that they keep making them because my feet absolutely love them. Color selection is also good!

I need a firm shoe to walk in due to arthritis in my big toe. And a wide width (of course). Previously have worn the Brooks Addiction Walker 2 for those reasons. I used to wear Saucony when I was a runner and stumbled across these Echelon 8's. I like the 8mm offset compared to the 12mm Brooks. My foot feels very secure and stable with plenty of cushion underfoot. The shoelaces are long enough to get a good lock down. There is ALOT of volume in these shoes compared to wide shoes in the Brooks Addiction and Adrenaline. So much so that I also ordered a regular width to compare. I kept the wide to allow extra room when my feet expand during my walk. The only thing I'm not a fan of is they are hot with the stock insole which doesn't breathe. The insole is very comfortable just hot. I'll try perforating some holes in them to see if that helps but likely will be looking for a different insole. Anyway, LOVE these shoes!

I love these Saucony Echelon 8 Wides. I have had Saucony Echelons before but realized that I needed a wide. I wear these 6 days a week. While they are not chic looking, they are super comfortable and great for working out in. I am reordering another a pair sinece I have worn out my old pair.

I have a bad bunion on one foot and recently had surgery on the other foot and ankle. These are the only shoes I can wear regularly since my foot is still swollen. They are supportive but the toe box has give to it which is good for the bunion. They're a little snug at first but I've worn this model before and they stretch out.

Finally a shoe with enough room for my weirdly wide feet--and it's not even the wide size. I love these shoes, which fit easily with my insert.

This is my second pair and love them. It gives me the support for my feet. I have orthotics and these shoes are perfect for them.

I am not a runner but I do and spend a lot of time on my feet. I had always been loyal to Asics and had several pair that I rotate. In the last few years, I feel the quality of Asics has lessened. After doing some research, I found that the Echelon 8's are highly recommended and decided to give them a try.
So far, I am impressed with the Echelon. It is light weight and comfortable. My feet do not feel tired by the end of a day of housework, yard work and exercising. I am buying another pair to alternate in a different color. The only con I have experienced is that these don't hug my feet like I prefer. I have normal width feet and they aren't lose but not as tight as I would like.

This is my second pair. I have very wide toes and narrow heel. There are a few sandals I still wear in a size 5, never a closed shoe. These are no exception. I order a 6.5 to have enough toe room. Most shoes are still too narrow despite being supposedly wide. These are snug but comfortable after I seriously loosen all the laces and leave them loose other than the topmost lace. The heel area is a little wide, but pulling the top lace as snug as possible my foot slipping around isn't causing problems. The cushioning is excellent.

These neutral running shoes are very comfortable and my orthotics work great in them. Best running shoe I have had that allow me to walk longer distances even with my plantar fasciitis

Excellent made shoe. Unfortunately I had to return as the size and fitting was not right. I will be looking for another Saucony shoe as I love the style and comfort of the shoe.

Great fit and support for wide feet and narrow heels. The shoe is a bit heavier than other running shoes I've owned. But I don't mind the extra cushioning helped me with my knee pain as well. I'll be repurchasing this line once my pair wears down!

My first pair of Echelon's were the 7's. They were and still are the most comfortable runners I have ever put on my feet. I bought the Echelon 8's and they still have the same comfort level as the 7's and the stability can't be beat. As long as Saucony keeps making them this way, I'll keep buying them!

Best shoe I have worn for walking. Great fit - provides good width across toes while maintains snug fit at heel. No need for me to move to a W, as with other brands, which usually results in too much room and slipping in heel.

I have wide feet with problems, these are the best shoes I have found. It would be nice if they came in other colors besides black & gray.

These shoes work very well for me. The front of my foot is very wide and I also need height in the toe box. The fit of the shoe is not compromised when I remove the factory insole for my custom orthotics. For reference I walk an average of 6km a day in the city. I have a pair of Saucony hiking shoes for weekend walks in the forest.

Extremely comfortable. They work well with my orthotics. I do a lot of walking, which is why I bought 3 pair.

This is the first shoe of many I tried that works well for me. It has minimal cushioning and accommodate my orthodics well.

This is such a great comfortable sneaker. Offers stability and support and still lighweight. As a Certified Pedorthist I suggest this style for a lot of my patients. It's also my personal favourite. It's orthotic friendly as well.

These became my everyday shoes after the first week. They are extremely comfortable. The width accommodates my bunions, and the cushioning is very kind to the soles of my old feet. The gray goes with absolutely everything. And they don't look like orthopedic shoes.
