Good light weight training/race shoe. Gave me a smooth footstrike/roll thru. Looks like they will have good durability. Was a little skeptical they would live up to the online praise but they did. Dont make any second versions any heavier or more expensive.

I really want to give these 5 stars but for whatever reason my Achilles are sore after I run in them. Other than that they are super comfortable and fast. Much softer than my Hokas.

These have been absolutely refreshing!! Like many others out there, I had a very specific brand and model of shoe that I swore by for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, the availability of that shoe became more and more limited. I had to find an alternative. But - let me be clear - this shoe is no "alternative," it is the REAL DEAL! I know it sounds crazy, but I instantly shed 30 seconds per mile over 9 mile run. My times just keep dropping. I saw similar reviews when I was looking at purchasing them and, like you probably are now, took that claim with a grain of salt. Believe me when I say, I have already looked at buying as second and third pair to have on standby. I'm really looking forward to the black future colorway dropping next month. The only reason I M giving this shoe 4 stars, is that one of the shoes feels about a half a size too big, almost like there is a mfg defect in the ankle. Once I get running though, I don't notice after about a mile.

I was a Hoka person for ever... did marathons and ultras in them all the time. Then I tried the Endorphin Pro's upon reading reviews (which are not these shoes, this is the Endorphin Speed), and I fell in love, and so I was switched brands from my Hoka's to Saucony. (And that is rarer than a Marlboro man switching to Camels) .... That said, the Pro's fell apart real fast on me - I run 17-23 miles/day, 7 days ... so I tried these Endorphin Speeds, hoping they'd last longer and be cheaper. They did, and were. They weigh every so slightly more than the Pro's because of the material for the plating, but they do glide. This makes them more of a training status shoe, (or so they say). And they last me about two weeks longer than the Endorphin Pro's (which have a three week lifespan for me). So in short, I would give the Endorphin Speed four stars because I slightly prefer the Endorphin Pro's, (but as they say: those are only "race day" shoes... though I would prefer them every day!). BUT I would also only give the Endorphin Pro's four stars for that exact reason - they fall apart on me after three weeks, and are expensive. So to summarize: The Speed is a great shoe. My current favorite shoe behind the Endorphin Pro, which is the best shoe right now, but it will fall apart for me after three weeks of long runs.

I've only have two workouts in them. One being a 17 miler. The ground was wet so I really cannot give a good review now. I do know I had a little spring in my run.

I got the size 11 and they were what I expected. I had run in Saucony years ago and have been running just in the Brooks Launch size 11 since. The older Saucony's were a bit narrow in the toe box but these felt snug - but not tight. I have wanted to try a 'performance' shoe and the Endorphin Speed seemed like a good shoe to try out without going full carbon plate. The cushioning was just right and overall felt great! Only a few runs in these but I can tell they are going to work out well - signed up for a half in early March so we'll see how they do.
I'd also recommend:

It would be nice to have a more subtle/neutral color option, not as "mutant/citrus". Maybe grey, for example.

As everyone else described. Great shoe. lightweight. responsive. solid cushioning. BUT. I'm normally a 10.5 in all other major running brands. Typically have 1/2 inch of room for my toes. These have 3/4 inch. I feel like Sideshow Bob. Anyone else still watch The Simpsons? Nobody else suggested sizing down in other reviews. I think I would have benefited from that info.

This shoe is amazing, it's my everything shoe what I mean is that I can use it for just about every run long, short, tempo. Only thing I that I would change would be the shoe laces they are to short when tying a runner knot. Usually I double knot my shoes for extra security just so when running they don't untie themselves. One more thing if Saucony would make a trail shoe just like this man they would have something big. I mean just like this just add trail lugs and some added Kevlar fabric for the upper for some added durability then you are talking. Maybe someday Saucony?

Great shoe for training, for easy, speed, long days. I have seen several reviews that says the Endorphin Speeds and Pros have the same midsole and stack height, aside from the plate material, but the site here says the Speeds are 35.5mm, and the Pros at 33.5mm. Are they really different, and for what shoe size are they measured?

The midsole is painted... After multiple runs it starts to peel off. Amazing feeling shoe, but the whole paint peeling thing gives it an unfortunate and misjudged "cheap" look.

Nice and light. However, I find that it could have more lateral foot supports for pronation and supination

My feet have supination and sometimes it gives an issue with some shoe companies product. But unfortunately with Saucany the sole on the inwards side has almost collapsed already with around 100 miles of road running. They are fine on treadmill but I didn't buy those pairs for indoor running. This review request is very timely because i was very disappointed with the shoes and wanted to let the company know how i feel about their product. I am btw just 155lb male mid foot to toe striker so nothing too crazy with the weight.

Feels too squishy, not stable with a heal strike given the 8mm drop encouraged foot plant. However I may have a pair with a defective foam. The left makes a squeak in the heal and the right is silent. I am also comparing the speed to the pro. Pro is stable, no noises, more responsive. Love the price of the speed but the benefits, at least in my pair of speed and pro, favors the extra money paid for the pro.

First off, these shoes are incredibly light and responsive. I'm not a runner but use these for walking and day to day things due to weight and comfort. About a month into wearing them, the right heal began to peel off and the inside part of the heel bunched up so bad, they're not wearable. After contacting customer service, they sent me a code to buy a new pair. I'm hoping I just got a bad pair because I love the shoes.

The foam under the shoe is amazing. Slow or fast, the bounce is there. I've been able to run several PBs without killing myself for them. The upper however feels mailed in. There's so much volume (mostly height wise?) that I struggle locking my foot in, especially in the forefoot and toebox area. I wear Kinvaras and freedoms just fine but the fit of the speed is a whole other breed. I don't know if that was intentional but it kind of ruins my enjoyment of the shoe. If you could just slap some PWRRUN PB underneath the kinvara and get out of the way, that would be fantastic.

Great show if you like something with alot of support. It is great when going downhill and uphill because you don't really feel the impact.

I have the “Hi-Viz” (bright yellow) version. I found it to run a 1/4-1/2 size too large.

These are good, but not great. Prefer Nike Zoomfly 3 or Alphafly as they are much more responsive. The right shoe also seems to be off balance compared to the left shoe.

They look great and they run great and I would recommend them, however for me they give me knee pain due to lack of stability. I discovered that stability shoes work better for me after running in these shoes. Very sad about this because they are a great shoe and I wish they'd worked out.

I unfortunately received a pair of shoes with a midsole issue; the left shoe has 2-3mm of extra foam on the outside edge of the heel. As you can expect, running in these is a very poor experience when each step causes your left ankle to roll inward. By the time I had a chance to run in these, it was outside the return window.

There is a seam in the toe area that came unglued in the front inside, after running in slightly wet condition, assuming it was the wetness that caused it. The insole also started moving sideways which caused blisters, for partially covering the toe... so not a great experience.
