So far only had this shoe a week and put on 25 miles, but I think this show is going to be my go to for any daily run that's not recovery. Super shoe all around and I am now a Saucony fan!

I heard a lot of good things about this shoe online. It seemed like I didn't have to worry weather or not it was going to be a good shoe.
I wear 11.5 men's and my foot is very slightly wider than medium. The shoe feels so good on foot. I went out to do a practice 6 mile run in preparation for my 6 mile time trial. I blew my original practice time out of the water without trying. I only was out to get a feel for the shoe too. The shoe has a squish, bounce, role to it. Definitely worth 160. The price is a little intimidating but you very quickly forget about the price once you slide one of these babies on your feet and get going. This shoe is a specimen. Thank you Saucony for this wonderful creation.
Please, don't hesitate to sent me a pair of something else to write about.

I wrote a much longer review with lots of data, but Saucony hasn't uploaded it, so maybe it was too long. Long story short - these feel very different than anything you've had before, so give it some time to get used to it, but they are comfortable. On both tempo runs and regular runs, I'm finding about a 4% advantage (either same pace / lower HR or same HR / faster pace) - translating to about a 20s/mi difference compared to my Kinvaras. Although some people have complained about the new coloring (I have the Vizi style), they are VISIBLE - neon in the daytime and tons of reflective features in dusk/night.

Use for faster pace interval and threshold work. Nice foot feel and quick on the fast turnaround. Even feels nice in recovery jogs between intervals.

Just got these today and did my first run! They felt great and the run felt easier, but that's subjective. I do have hard data though
About me: 53 year old male, 6'2", 183#. Running for 12 years 4 marathons, tons of HMs and tris, training for an Ironman now. Tend to be in the top 10-20% of my age group for HMs. For below, my zone 4 starts at a HR of 155.
About my run: I do speedwork on the treadmill about once a week (so I don't slow down lest I fall off the back!) Lately this has been 1 mile warmup at 10:00/mi then 4 straight miles at 8:00/mi for 42:00 total.
About the conditions: absolutely identical each time same workout, treadmill, temperature, shorts, time of day, breakfast, weight, even the same playlist (Van Halen!!) First three runs below were in Saucony Fastwitch. Last one was the brand new Endorphin Speed
Heart rate data:
8/14 avg 147, max 163, >Z3 39%
9/1 avg 152, max 174, >Z3 51%
9/18 avg 150, max 167, >Z3 55%
9/23 avg 146, max 160, >Z3 24%
I have my opinion about how to interpret the data but won't say more so you can draw your own conclusions. :-) If as I get more data I feel it changes the interpretation, I'll update this post.

The Endorphin Speed checks all the boxes when it comes to a daily trainer that's also a beast. Very light and breathable upper that is snug on the foot. The midsole is extremely responsive and the plate combined with the speedroll technology make for a truly fast ride. All in all the endorphin speed is an incredible shoe that packs the punch of a racer into the form and confort of a trainer.

Use these shoes for my long runs and speed workouts. This shoe is a must-buy! It wants you to go fast, it's amazing and the comfort along that is spectacular. I will forever as long as I can wear the endorphin collection. I can't wear any other shoe now. I have the speeds and shifts. Both work great together. My long runs are so fun. You can easily run a 6:40 pace with
an ease for 15 miles. :) also if you have bad knees, you should definitely buy the speeds and possibly the ednorphins too for recovery :) endorphin forever!! I'm want saucony to make "endorphin speeds spikes" that have the same speed roll technology and still to be light. That would be great to have for college track races or even cross country as well. Just an idea Saucony ;)

First pair of Saucony shoes I've owned. Love this shoe. Super lightweight with responsive yet cushioned ride. Think Rincon with a little more bounce. I have to hold myself back. for grabbing these everyday. Plan on running my next marathon in these. I can see why it's hard to find these shoes in stock.

1. Why I bought them: Nick Bare & Adam Klink. YouTube both of them and you'll see why- if you run a 5 min mile then you have my attention. If you run a five minute mile and squat 500 lbs now I'm going to buy your running shoes.
2. Running in them: I couldn't believe how they felt on my feet. I have heard the Nike Alpha fly's are nice, I haven't worn those so I can only talk about these. These are amazing. They just feel awesome. They are extremely light! They are squishy soft literally. Like you literally squish down with every step and it's not like imagination they actual flex every step. They have support to them also. So I mean they are very good feeling honestly.
3. Overall- I would buy again! I knew it couldn't be too big a risk again bc of who I saw wearing them and how legit in fitness those two are. But sometimes you buy something and are let down. This is one of few Times ever I felt the shoe was significantly better than I expected. I wear these to run in. They do that amazingly well. I never wear any other time but before I run after and take the off and put them in immediately (because I want to preserve them as long as possible).

I run 50-60km a week and I use 5 different running shoes in my rotation. The endorphin speed is by far my favorite one and my go to shoe when ever I want to have fun. Long run's, speed, tempo day , this shoe can handle partially anything. Good job Saucony.

Great complement shoes to go with my Endorphin Pro. I use it for fast training days and tempo workouts. 40 miles so far, still looks brand new. The upper is a bit more supported and cushion than the Pro. With the nylon plate, it is not a rigid as the Pro, but still feel the boost from the plate when you pick up the pace. True to the name, definitely a Speedy shoes. Fun to run in!

I purchased the Speed along with the Freedom 3 as I'm transitioning from summer training to cross country in-season training, meaning I'm doing a lot more speed work. I've been an avid member of the saucony squad since my diary years of XC and a particular fan of the freedom with its ample cushioning while having only a 4mm drop. I was excited when I heard the speed was coming out, but was disappointed when I read that it had an 8mm drop. After some talks with some friends of mine at the show store I bought from though, I came to the decision that the speed roll geometry would make up for the extra heel height while I still am trying to land mid-foot in my runs. I bought a size down (13) from my typical size in freedoms 1 and 2 (14), and when I first put the speed on I felt the hype immediately. The bounce, cushion, and energy return was the best I had ever felt. My first few runs (varying from 4-10 miles) were exceptional, and I believe can adequately prove that there's next to zero exaggeration when it comes to this shoe's advertisement. As it turns out my friend at the store was half right about speed roll geometry making up fro the stack height. While I can still feel a noticeable difference when walking, stretching, or the very beginnings of my runs I can only really feel the 8mm moving me slightly away from mid foot if I really think about it, so I still land mid foot, keeping my cadence correct and saving me from injuries. I never expected it to feel as level as the freedom, but it it 100% better than I feared 8mm would be. While I will still be looking forward hopefully toward a 4mm version or a freedom with a Pebax based cushion (powerrunPB), the endorphin speed does far more than just finefor now, and if you are accustomed to 8mm I'm willing to bet the speed will feel even better to you than it did to me(already pretty amazing)The whole feeling of running in the speed reminds me of and makes me feel worthy of the line from "Chariots of Fire": "Those few young men with hope in our hearts and wings on our heels."

Nylon plate propels @ racing flat speed and lightness while the generous cushioned stack height conserves your energy on long runs and races.

I have super wide feet and so that is why I got a half size up, but man the comfort of this shoe is incredible. I even had a blister on the back of my heel and I didn't even feel it running. It is also incredible how effortless my runs feels with the speed. I truly love this shoe and am hoping that it will last me hundreds of miles. This shoe is super adaptable when you want to go fast, you go fast and if you want to chill, you chill (in comfort in all speeds). Saucony hooked me good on this shoe and can't wait to try out the peregrine 10s!

Love the shoe. I do Half Ironmans and this shoe is perfect for the training and the half marathon racing. Love the heel cup feel, very responsive shoe and for a bigger runner (182lbs) the shoe has the comfort i want. Mainly used for tempo runs, negative runs and minute on minute off runs.

The Value of this show when you want that Carbon plate feel. This shoe has Nylon plate instead but for the reduced cost and get the feel of shoe with plate this shoe is awesome.

I very rarely leave reviews, but these shoes warrant it.
The upper is very light and well made while still being thin and breathable. Not hot spots of me in this one. The length of the laces, while on the shorter side, are actually the perfect length in my opinion.
The Pebax foam in soft without being mushy and very responsive. The nylon plate and aggressive rocker geometry really push this shoe through the transition and helps propel you forward.
This has easily become one of my favorite shoes. It certainly would make a great race shoe, but it's a fantastic everyday shoe as well. I think it will complete any type of run well.

Light weight, responsive, nimble, the combination of powerun, speedroll and the nylon plate is a revolution, the feeling of the three acting together is remarkable.
The efficient return of energy from each stride is noticeable, and the use of the nylon plate gives you a degree of flexibility that allows the speedroll design to complete a longer and higher stride, without the stiffness of the carbon fiber competitors.
Another reason I think this is the greatest Saucony ever is that the high quality, technological advances and engineered upper also incorporate the ground feeling of a high performance racing flat with the confort of a daily trainer, in my opinion, this shoe is, so far, the best of 2020.
For those who enjoy a fast pace training as well as an efficient race day flat, this is an exceptional alternative to combine both in one shoe.
