Since I purchased two pair of the Kayano 27 and I rotate them every other day, I would not expect to see wear already within the sole unless the compound is softer than the previous model.

Great shoes. Laces should be longer on wide shoe. When using the added eyelet the laces barely tie up.

Over the years, size and comfort has always been consistent and true for me. I almost exclusively buy Kayano as my running shoe, but this time the dimples that developed on either side of the toe of the shoe, are irritating my big toe. I'll need to research this, as I see that is is a problem reported with a few other brands as well.

Very stable and comfortable sneakers but they definitely don’t run true to size. They’re at least a half size larger than I needed. Wish I could exchange them since I realized they weren’t the best fit after a few runs in them.

All around good shoe for support. I do believe the Kayano 26 had more support in the heal as I feel I tend to pronate more in this shoe than I do my 26's.

Well I love these shoes. They are great for everything I do! I have had some issues with the material on the toes. But ASICS has stood buy the warranty and replaced any shoe that was not right!!!!!! Thanks for a great shoe!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are pretty comfortable. I'm only using them for walking. I put around 12000 steps or so a day on them.

Great shoes, but cannot be used on rainy days. It is extremely slippery on wet or even damp floors. I never had this problem with other shoes, including older Kayanos.

A great reset after running in the same pair of former Kayano 25s
So far so good! The laces are a bit tricky to keep straight as they are a 'flat' design.
