Love the jacket but the sleeves are super long, other than that good

Bought this for hiking in Utah during March. Was hesitant to purchase off of reviews because I couldn't decide what size to order. Opted to go with a small despite the reviews and even that was still quite roomy with a sweatshirt underneath.

The coat I ordered fits small for an XL. Rides up when moving around.. I think I could have ordered larger but would possibly have the same issue.

I have a Columbia coat with Omni Heat insulation and although I figured it would not be warm enough to wear all winter, the only exception was during a polar vortex which was -50. I bought this jacket in blue and ingnored the advice to size down because I knew how the coat fit me and I plan to wear this jacket snowshoeing with a thin, very warm baselayer so I don't bulk it up. I would say it is true to size. I got the blue which I would describe as Periwinkle. I am 5'5, 130 pounds and I bought got size small. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the sleeves are too long for someone 5'5. I almost did not buy it because a couple reviewers said it had a bad odor and I am very sensitive to chemical odors, but mine does not have an odor. I am tempted to get the jacket in another color.

I got the plum color it's a nice bright purple. I am 5'4" and weigh 140, athletic build with broad shoulders. I bought a medium, there is plenty of room for another layer underneath. I probably could have sized down, but may not have been able to comfortably wear another layer underneath in a small. I havent worn this in the cold yet. I was replacing this with the Columbia Lake 22 reversible down hoodie which I had in a large. After some weight loss it was way too big for me and needed to size down. The one thing I wish the Delta Ridge jacket had is an inner chest zip pocket which the Lake 22 jacket had. I havent worn it in the cold yet, but I suspect it will keep me warm enough in the Moab winter the same as the Lake 22 jacket did.

This is a very good jacket, but runs slightly large with longer hand. I returned & will order a smaller size. I like the pattern on the jacket.

Disappointed in only one things, it's red, not orange like in the photo.

The jacket is light and warm, ideal for walks in months of low temperatures, easy to accommodate in a backpack, excellent quality, and elegant. Although it has deep open internal pockets; It would be desirable to have an internal security pocket with a zipper.

I absolutely love the color of this jacket and the way it looks on me. It does run a little bit small which was disappointing because other reviews said it was true to size. I chose this one because of the cold weather reviews. This weekend will be the true test when we are up north.

Got this Coat for a good price. Thought it could be thicker, but for the price it was a good deal. haven't tried it in real cold temps yet.

This jacket is nice and cozy. I purchased a large, but should have gotten an extra large for more room.

Was a little scared to order after mixed reviews on fit. I am 5'5" 145 and I ordered a Medium. Fits great with a feminine look. I love the Black Cherry color too. Not constricting with movement and easy to pack. So glad i took at chance. I wouldn't recommend for any cold temps passed Fall Season. If you plan on layers underneath, i would definitely size up.

Very light weight but still fairly warm. I think this jacket is perfect for moderate winter temps -above 30 or so. I need to wear it in other conditions but so far I like it and it fits great

I like the style of this jacket and that it has a hood. I just wish it was a little bit longer and a little bit more fitted, maybe a waist cinch would be nice. A nice jacket for winter in MT :-)

This is a warm jacket however if you put the draw string at the bottom to make the fit around the waist better this winter jacket would be the best ever. I live in Chicago in the artic with a fleece this is really warm

I bought this jacket because of the Omni tech and down features. I sized down like it recommend and it is snug. I would say buy true to size. I unfortunately did not time to exchange bc I need the jacket for an upcoming trip. Overall it's a good buy!

I am actually surprised Columbia suggested that this jacket runs large. I am usually in between a small and a medium and I figured medium would be perfect if I wanted to layer underneath this coat. It fit fine with a short sleeve shirt but if layering with a heavier shirt or sweater it was too small. Overall great jacket but just recommend sizing up.

I found this to be too thin. I was looking for something puffy and comfy and this wasn't exactly it. Might be a decent layer for warmth but not what I was looking for. It's also not very flattering. Of note, I'm 6'2" with very long arms and the arms fit me which is miraculous.

It's a low cost insulate it down, not the best but it's OK

Love it.but it is most definitely not true to size. I sized up even though it said true to size. I can wear the jacket but I'm going to have to loose some more pounds to be able to zip it up.

The jacket is not as warm as I hoped! I have another light weight Columbia Jacket that is much warmer. The zipper is always getting stuck because they did not make the flap inside wide enough!
