Order a size L for my daughter for upcoming travel plan to avoid carrying a bulky jacket . Tested it in 20 degrees and it kept her warm and still have room for another layerr.

Love this jacket! Keeps you warm without the bulk of a heavy jacket.

This is a lightweight, well designed, jacket that keeps you warm. I purchased the dark blue (Nocturnal) and like the versatility of wearing it with jeans and the smaller "puff" design.

I bought this in a size bigger than my usual size to wear as a maternity coat. It is very warm and comfortable with room to accommodate my growing belly. The color is beautiful and quality is excellent.

This was bought as a gift for my daughter. She's a very picky teenager and does not like bulky jackets, but does need to be warm while outside during common winter activities. This jacket is perfect! It's not bulky at all, very light, yet very warm. The hood is perfect with a zip that goes up high to partially shield the face as well. And on top of that the fit is even flattering. She loves it!

My teenage daughter needed a simple black hooded "puffy" coat. This was perfect without adding a lot of extra bulk. Keeps her warm and fits like you'd expect for the size purchased (XL). It ticked all the boxes for her!

I love this jacket. I purchased it to be warm but not bulky like most winter coats. It's perfect for shopping or being outside for small amounts of time but wouldn't recommend being outside for long periods of time.

This is a great lightweight yet very warm jacket. The hood extends nicely over your face for snowy windy days yet lays flat when not in use. Perfectly made!

I'm happy with my purchase! I love the fit- it doesn't ride up when I sit down (in the car) or restrict movement. I'm between a size Medium and Large and this fit just right. It's SO lightweight that you might think it won't be warm enough- But it kept me toasty when temps were in the teens. I really like the purple color- it's not too loud & bright. Perfect for someone trying to avoid buying black all the time but not wanting wild colors that clash with your wardrobe. Highly recommend!

I love this coat! I love the design, I love the color ( the nocturnal color)! Ive gotten a ton of compliments and have only had it for a week. It keeps me very warm here in Minnesnowta with the 650 down fill and those little silver dots. Its a great coat!

I got this coat because I love my other heavy winter Columbia coat. I wanted a somewhat lighter jacket for shoulder season. I would say that this is lighter. A lot! It's not very warm. I would call it a warm wind breaker. It has nice features like the hood. With layers I can manage the cold down to about freezing. I was also wearing it comfortably in 50 degrees.

Very long sleeves for petite people. It's very thin and lightweight. Great for traveling.

Nice lightweight winter coat with hood. Love the Delta Ridge styling. The inner liner technology is great and works well to reflect and hold body heat. The only reason I marked it 4 instead of 5 is the sizing runs small. My wife usually wears large in most brands but, with the feminine cut, it's just too snug.

Excellent quality, useful and light to transport. Its excellent for cold climates.

It's agree fit but too long. Will keep it. But next time will double check before buying.. esp the length

In the past month, I've purchased 3 Columbia jackets, in an effort to find the perfect fit; no two seem to be sized the same. That said, I'm sticking with the Delta Ridge down hooded jacket. The Omni-Heat thermal and heat seal construction will keep me toasty, while the jacket itself isn't cumbersome. Based on the sizing of Columbia's Powder Lite jacket, I purchased a size large; I wanted to be able to comfortably wear a sweater or sweatshirt with the jacket. However, after receiving the Delta Ridge, I should have chosen a medium. As well, the sleeves run longer and the cuffs aren't as snug as that of the Powder Lite. At this point though, I'm tired of seeking perfection, so I'm rolling with the Delta Ridge. For reference, I'm 5'3", 127 lbs. and my measurements are 36, 30, 38. I usually wear size Small or 4/6. For this jacket, a medium would fit perfectly, but the large will give me room for several layers.
