Comfortable shoe for my daily walk routine. Would prefer full loop on heal good fit.

Same as headline. I was nervous at first because shoe seem tight even though I ordered a wide. However, once they broke in they are now super comfortable.

Ran a half this weekend in the Clifton 7. Love the cushion of the shoe, but the midfoot is just too tight. Went to the 2E on the 7s and still have foot irritation on the medial side as my foot sits down in the bucket seat, if you will. Have tried a variety of midsoles to try and remove the discomfort with no luck.
Wish Hoka could find a way to open the midfoot a bit more, at least the 2E version.

I like the feel of these and was skeptical at first because I thought they looked funny and bulky but they are actually truly outstanding to walk on everyday while I'm working in a factory. Great purchase and will buy more due to the multiple color schemes

I come from a long history with ASICS and then on to Brooks. I thought i really liked Brooks until i tried these. It took some time to get used to extra thick padding because it made my steps a bit "springy". But they are very light and comfortable. I could wear them all day and run miles in them and never have fatigued feet or aches. They may look weird but your feet will love them. I would recommend them to anyone who stands or walks all day at work, great for running. Would not recommend for cross training or cross fit type work outs and you have the risk of the foot rolling over or sliding.

The shoes felt half size larger. The arch support felt somewhat uncomfortable for someone with flat feet but the cushion is great.

I bought these solely for getting my steps in. I have been a die-hard Nike guy for years but on longer walks, they left my dogs barking. I am in love with these shoes but the arch digs in and causes some qches after a couple of miles. Might have to try a different model. But overall I am sold.

I like it better than the first pair of Hoka's I bought 4-5 years ago they were to tall, I like the Cliftons a little lower profile.

I had my Clifton 5's for 2 years. I did El Camino De Santiago with them. Was sad to see they didn't have the same product but got the 7's and are pretty cool. I love the color

After a month of wear, it really is too narrow than marked. I should have returned them, but wasn't really sure about the fit upon first wear. Overall, I like the comfort in the sole and the arch support. Really good cushion. Another issue is the heel support - it bit too firm, fairly hard plastic insert surrounding the heel which doesn't allow enough flex for comfort.
I'd also recommend:

I'm an ICU nurse and I wear HOKAS because they're the only shoe I've worn (I've tried Nike, ON, Brooks and Mizuno) that relieves plantar pain. My only gripe? They're so squeaky!! The left shoe makes a squeak every time I step...i hate me, my coworkers hate me but at least my feet don't hurt!

This is my first real running shoe. I was surprised at how light weight they are. The bottom is rounded rather than flat - makes a hue difference in the stride and protects the ankle. My only compliant so far is a slight rubbing on my heals, but I do not yet have running socks. I went with the wide size, and they feel like a good fit.

Hokas were recommended to me by my podiatrist for a nerve pain in my foot I was experiencing. So far they seem to be making quite a difference.

2 week review: Very comfortable, cushioned support, however, feels narrower than D width spec. First time buying this brand. Primary use will be general exercise, walking, daily shoe.

Love the shoe for running with a comfortable and responsive ride. However, would not recommend these shoes that require any other hardier activities as the foam on the bottom is fairly exposed.

As a whole, these feel awesome - very well made and incredibly light given the amount of cushioning. I was surprised to find that a regular size 9, which felt true to size length-wise, put significant pressure on the sides of my 1st and 5th metatarsal heads - they just squeezed my feet sideways, not allowing a full spread of the forefoot. I walked many hours in them over a month hoping that they would stretch out a bit, they never did. Thanks to the generous return policy, I sent them back and will try a wide. Never had to do that before with any other brand.

The balanced cushion is awesome and it makes for a comfortable run, walk, or workout. I did need to return the original pair for the wide option but even those had a funky insert design that put pressure on the outside of my feet so had to get other inserts. The shoe itself is great!

Shoe is amazingly comfortable...i do more walking then running. However, and this is kinda dumb... but...the shoes squeak extremely loud. Can be herd in the next aisle of a store when walking by. Like I said, dumb but it does get annoying really fast.

I liked the Clifton 6's more. They felt like they had a little more padding and roll forward off the ball of your foot. These are still very good shoes though.

They are absolutely the lost comfortable running shoe I have ever had. I understand this is a truly “engineered” shoe but the sewn down tong makes for a tight fit with very little lace tightening necessary or possible. I was worried at first but after two runs they feel alright. Still getting used to the amount of cushion and energy loss that goes along with it, but hopping to log plenty of easy miles on these in between my “regular” brooks anthem. Hoping they will break in a bit as they are snug like I had mentioned earlier in the review.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Mizuno
