Great shoe except for one very small issue: the laces are too long! Except for that, this is a great shoe for my Road work. I need a plush style and I get it with this shoe.

I love Hoka, I have owned a few pairs in the best and they have always been amazing shoes. I purchased the Clifton 7 due to the great reviews I was reading/seeing. It is a super comfortable shoes with plenty of cushion but does not sacrifice energy return. My only issue was the heel. When running, my heel was slipping. I made several lace adjustments to try and compensate for this but nothing seemed to work. I had not heard any other reviewers online or on youtube having this issue so maybe it was just me but I unfortunately had to send them back. :( Maybe the Clifton 8 will better suite me!

I like the cushion in the shoe, it feels natural to run in the clifton 7s. The downside of this shoe is the durability on the bottom outside part of the heel. This particular spot on the shoe seems to wear out extra fast. The rest of the shoe is great besides that. Definitely would recommend buying!!!

I loved how locked in my foot was with this shoe, the cushion, and weight. Unfortunately, I needed to order a wide in this shoe (normally not a wide foot), but it felt like a wide upper was put on a normal with lower. Basically, I could feel the inside of my foot flopping down over the inside of the sole, especially near the arch. Ended up going with the Bondi 7 wide because that shoe did not have such an extreme condition in the fit.

I wear a Women's size 12, a rare shoe to come by. Hoka Men's D width fits my B width foot like a dream. I have two pairs of Hoka One One shoes now and recommend these shoes for the ladies out there with long, narrow feet. The heel cup takes a couple of days to settle in, so if your heel slips at first, don't despair. Bonus! Hoka's have great colors...not just black and navy blue!

I have always purchased Brooks Ghost for my running shoes. I decided to try a shoe with some more cushion. These shoes are certainly better in that way. In my first two runs, I experienced no joint or back pains. The only issue is that these shoes are very narrow. They cause rubbing on the outsides of my feet and even circulation loss after some miles. I hope that they break in and stretch in this direction.

Shoe feels good on foot. Heel locks down well. Very comfortable and light. Smooth to run in. Only problem is not sure about fit. I'm a size 9 and the shoe feels a little big. Toe box has more volume than I'm used too. Next time I might try a 8.5.

I am giving 4 stars because of the narrow toe box when compared to the original Cliftons. The shoe is great otherwise. Light but not flimsy, cushioned but not sloppy or unresponsive, breathable upper without feeling cheap. After about 200 or so miles it is still ok. Feels secure at the heel and I like the way the tongue is secure to the insole making it not move. Feels like the shoe hugs my mid-foot without having to lace up too tight. If the toe box was a bit wider and less pointy it would be a great shoe! But because my toes feel cramped even when going up a half-size I can only say it is an ok shoe. I wish Hoka would just continue making the original Clifton design, nothing else on their line-up compares.

I prefer the Bondi they have a wide Toe Box, tried Clifton little tight, the Arahi is really tight, I selected wides but they are not wide enough

I've run in many different brands and was excited and reluctant to try another. My requirements are relatively specific. I under-pronate. I need consistent foam on the outside of my shoes to stabilize my foot falls. The Clifton is meeting my need in the few runs I've put them through. I can feel the extra foam in the forefoot and on the outsides. Its extra cushion without being clunky. I expect to put a lot of miles into these Clifton's without having to worry about IT Band issues.

These shoes look great and I was excited to wear them. The soles are super comfortable with lots of cushion. The issue for me is that they are very tight on the top of my foot and around the backs of my ankle. It was impacting circulation even while just sitting. I ordered another pair a half size larger and had the same experience. If it wasn’t for how narrow these are on my feet I would have loved them.

The size fit perfectly to my feet, I've returned from injury in my knee. I do 12 km per day and sensations are good, I expect the Clifton 7 are faster but 4.50 and 5 min per km. Hiking is one of my main activities and I look for another Hoka Shoes that ia waterproof. Vibes from Cusco to the Hoka Team. @Rawspeedz

The heel fits narrow to me. I'm a reformed runner on recovery from a major injury. Always worn Saucony or Brooks to this point but podiatrist recommended this brand. This specific model (Clifton 7) fits me narrow at the heel. VERY SPONGY STEP...like the heel is made of super soft foam and you can feel yourself sink in on every single step. It's a...weird...experience. It's also something I could see as being a great recovery shoe for someone with a more narrow heel than I apparently have.

I have flat feet and issues with plantar fasciitis these shoes are great. A little tight across the foot when you tie them but other than that great.

Extremely soft landing and feels like my feet, ankles, knees and hips are not taking any damage during a run. Great everyday runner! My only complaint is that they are a little narrow but Hoka offers a wide option in very limited colors.

Love the shoe however compared to the bondis, they aren't as good. Comfortable and narrow. I don't have a wide foot however I had to order wide. Overall great shoe would recommend the bondi shoe for long days of walking on hard floors.

Love the shoes especially when considering my age (63) and weight (6-4, 225). Only negative is the durability of the sole. On my 4th pair I believe.

I like these shoes a lot. But why don't they have a loop at the back? The weird little tab is kind of lame. A loop would make so much more sense. I'm also confounded by the elastic on the tongue of the shoe. I can't quite figure out what necessitates it. Is there an epidemic of wayward shoe tongues of which I'm unaware? Quarantine is certainly isolating, but surely I would have heard about such a thing. In any case, they're great comfy shoes and the Almond Milk color is quite elegant. Maybe consider a heel loop on the next iteration. Oh, and bring back the fabulous pink. I loved that pink.
