Shoe was great super comfortable for my everyday run. I probably got a half size too big so wanted to exchange sizes. When I ran on wood chips for about 30 min one day I got a thorn that pierced the whole sole and poked my foot so I knew I needed a new pair. 2 weeks later I have yet to get confirmation of the company receiving my shoes and have reached out multiple times to customer service but no one has followed through with help.

I bought these because I loved my Rincon 1's and wore them until they were falling apart. My new Rincon 2's are just as comfortable and even more stylish, but they squeak. As I step it's "reenk, reenk, reenk". I thought maybe the squeaking would go away after I wore them for a bit. Maybe it will, but a few dozen miles in it hasn't.

Pretty disappointing quality from Hoka. Pre-ordered these on Roadrunner Sports after having some good experiences with Hoka Mach and the original Rincon's. Have had these right on 2 months now and the cushioning is shot and the "wear pads" on the outsoles are separating.
My original Mach's, over 18 mos old and with more than 400 miles on them, still have better cushioning than these do after 2 months. Expect way more from Hoka in terms of comfort, quality, and durability. Feel like my shoe search is back to square one....

Love the cushioning and weight of these shoes. The right shoe feels great, but the arch in the left shoe feels more forward and touches the ball of my foot. By the end of a 6 mile walk my left foot is numb from the arch forward and then quickly after removing the shoe my foot is incredibly sore. Don't think it's my foot because I have never had this problem with other brands and like I said the right shoe feels great. I am sending these back and exchanging them for the Mach 2. Would have exchanged for the style of shoe, but with my luck the new pair would have the same problem.

The shoe gave me blisters on the inside of my big toe on both feet on my first run. This probably affected my stride, b/c I had knee pain, which I never have, all after my first and only run in these shoes. I've also read that the shoes are very plush, but I did not feel the midsole was soft at all. The reviews have been great for this shoe, so I'm chalking the experience up to a specific mis-match between my feet and the the shoe. The fit was good with the only exception being the slight pinching I felt where I got the blisters. I returned the shoes and got a refund with a seamless return process. Because of the customer centric approach and all the positive reviews, I will buy another pair of Hoka shoes again at some point next year to see if this was just a one-off shoe/food mis-match.

The new Clifton toe box made them unwearable for me. These Rincons aren't actually causing big blisters but I definitely feel the difference between these and the original version. So much tighter and I really do have narrow feet.

The fit in this version is roomier in the toe box and the heel cup.

I currently own the Rincon 1, which I put 300 plus miles between training for and running 2 marathons in. That shoes performance lead me to pick up another 4 pair of Rincon 1. I pre ordered the Rincon 2 after reading and watching reviews on YouTube. The shoe reviews where on point weight, stack height, color selection, but the change upper mesh was the deal breaker. The Rincon 2 new upper mesh is noticeably less breathable. If you hold both shoes side by side against any light you will see the Rincon 1 upper is far more breathable and allows more light to get through than the Rincon 2. As a person who runs a lot; short distance and long your feet sweat and they need the ability to cool off, so for me the Rincon 2 will be a no go. I still love the Hoka brand and plan on re-ordering another Rincon 1 especially since there on sale.

Not comfortable. Should have kept my air max. Now I have to keep these until I wear them out. See how long that takes.

The wear is extremely quick. The material after a month and some days show lost surface on the sole

Was training for a marathon, these had maybe 200 miles on them and then had no support, bottoms torn up. I run on roads and they look like I had taken them trail running. Cushioning faded fast

Have been a loyal Hoka wearer for a few years now, using both their street shoes and trail shoes. Last month I decided to try the Rincons, has been a rough go. The back of the shoe caused chafing on my Achilles, where the back "lip" top ends, and if I do not cover it w a bandage or gauze, it re opens, every time. This has went on for the entire month, and it does not seem to be "breaking in". It is not a fit issue, it is a resistance, or flexibility, issue in the shoe top, like the old cheap sheep shoes that had the hard heel cup to retain form. Have also noted a less comfortable ride overall, more foot feel from striking the road.
By far, these are the worst Hokas I have owned. Very disappointed in this shoe, about to give up hoping they will break in.
For reference, have put over 50 miles on them, so "new" and "break in period" no longer should be issue

My first pair of "higher quality" shoes because I saw people at a recent triathlon wearing them. First of all, as soon as I opened the box I thought they sent the wrong shoes - super bright orange compared to red orange pics on my monitor and phone. Second, I put them on and seriously thought it wasn't my shoes - way too big! Third, the right shoe is biggee than the left! Nithing but low quality, bad shoes with ridiculously thin and pointless insoles. Hoka, give me my money back or suck it, you're horrible. What a wate of a hard earned 100 dollars, throwing this out asap.

Had to return.

Too hard on my plantar fasciitis suffering feet! I think there should be a lot more cushion like Clifton series. Also, the width is not wide enough.

The design of these shoes is terrible for every day runners. I'm usually a Brooks Ghost running shoe wearer and I am firmly going back to those shoes. I thought I would try out Hoka, since I heard a lot about them from other runners, but my experience with these shoes has been awful. Within a week of running in them (about 6 miles a day), the bottom of the shoe was completely tearing apart. It's like the shoes are not meant for active wear, the bottom is like paper mache and comes off within weeks of wearing them. If you want to spend your money on running shoes avoid these ones, they will not last longer than a couple weeks. The way the shoes break down on the bottom you risk injuring yourself running in them after a couple weeks.

I've owned HOKAs before for running in the military and normally they are great shoes, but I have had them for 2 weeks and they are already falling apart.
