My original Rincons were fantastic, but the Rincon 2 lacked. I exchanged for Bondi and am much happier.

I have been an avid supporter of the Asics brand running shoes. A friend, who also wore Asics, recommended HOKA to me so I tried them, Rincon 2. I am 1 month in with about 20 miles of brisk walking per week. I looked at the soles today and they are pretty worn. Not sure if I can get 3 months out of them and I'm used to about 6 with Asics.

My last purchase was quick and efficient. My problem was the sole came apart after a month.

My first pair! Never got blisters from Nike or New Balance so a little disappointed. Style is great and they are light which I love. Trying to work through the blister issue with a band aid. What's funny is I answered a request for feedback saying how important it was but never heard from anyone.

Love the light weight, plenty of cushion and responsiveness BUT these are too narrow. I usually wear a men's 9.5 2E but heard these had more room in the toebox but they are just too narrow. Please consider offering them in wide in the future

This shoe feels like nothing, it is just so light. I live in SE Texas and it can get very hot, but these shoes are so breathable that my feet stay nice and comfy. The biggest draw back is that the the sole wears down very quickly. I wouldn't recommend as a daily trainer unless you want to replace at 200 miles. Would make a good shoe for a race though... it is also good for analyzing your strike and lift off, since the wear is going to be abundantly clear.

These came with an insert that was about 1/8 th inch thick. No arch support so I guess Ill find some a/m inserts. Very light weight though.

I usually run around 35-40 miles a week. Was super excited to see online that the Rincon 2 were a great trainer and were very light, the lightness was awesome on my 7-10 mile runs but when I first got them I got a strain in my midsole that I thought nothing of. The next day I saw bruises there and that never happens with my other trainers. My other trainers are a little heavier than these but this was definitely a first. I wanted to give them another shot but the same thing happened. The shoe itself is very comfortable but I believe they don't fit me well in the mid foot area because it happened more on my right foot and a little less on my left. I don't know if these are supposed to feel a little less stable than other trainers but felt like my foot was moving around more than other shoes and caused some ankle pain. I am glad that hoka has a 30 day return policy, I actually love the shoe itself but not what it does to my feet. I hope I can give this brand another try! I love the concept but definitely had some pain with these shoes. Try these shoes on before you buy them! Felt a little bad sending them back because I am not usually like that but can't run in shoes that hurt my feet! The sole of the shoe already has wear and tear and I have probably only ran 50-60 miles in them. I guess these shoes just don't match my feet!

Of The 3 pairs of hokas i purchased, this is the worst .the support is great as far as running. My only gripe is the top of the shoe around the toe area fits terribly. Compared to the clifton and speedboat, this is a very distant third.

These were my first pair of Hokas after many years running in the Nike Epic/React line. These were great right out of the box - felt great, fast, snug fit, and some nagging PF pain actually subsided. The one issue I have, though, is that they're not durable AT ALL.... after not even 300 miles the rubber high-abrasion zones on the heel are almost entirely worn away and on one shoe is half on/half off at this point. These are certainly very reasonably priced, but the durability is a bit troubling during my first experience.

Normally by Rincons, but for some reason the Rincons 2 sole has worn off too fast compared to others? Not sure why. Will still buy Rincons, but the engineers should think about this.

After I fall in love with the Bondi 7, I wanted to try others to see something better. My favorite is the bondi 7 it is just amazing with the supports and its cushion way it absorb an impact on every stride.
So, I just got the second pairs.

I bought a pair of Rincon. Lightweight and snappy.
However, Rincon doesn't have EE or wide width!!! And it was the only issue for me.
Hoka ppl, please consider this in Rincon 3!!! :)))

I have been using the Rincon 2's and they feel good but not as good as the Rincon 1's. The upper mesh is not as breathable and it is tighter. With the first edition, my feet would feel great after a run and I would not have any pain. But the second edition's feel tighter and the foam feels harder (I do not know if it actually is or not). But please, put the Rincon 1's back on the market, or change the Rincon 2's. I like the shoe, but it does not feel nearly as good as the first ones.

I bought this pair of shoes primarily for running. However I found the shoes to be more comfortable mainly for walking/hiking and so much for running. Perhaps a different style would be more suetable for the type of activity.

First the Rincon 2 is the exact same shoe as the Rincon so save the extra $20 and buy the original. Unfortunately the only problem with the Rincon wasn't addressed by Hoka for the 2...Durability ! The sole is good for 100, maybe 150 miles and it is done. Still, at the price point I will continue to buy this shoe for daily training and actually have 5 pairs in the rotation. Great, great shoe just don't expect it to last very long

I wanted to love the Rincon 2s, and would have if they fit my foot better. I have had great success with Torrents, Speedgoats, and Cliftons, but the Rincon 2s come up just a little too high on the outside of my foot. As a result, my ankle bone hit the shoe with each step. 20 miles of that is not a lot of fun. Otherwise, the Rincon 2 is a great shoe, and I recommend them if they fit your foot. I can't change the shape of my foot, but I can exchange shoes (which Hoka does extremely well).

The upper on the Rincon 2 fits very poorly. Length wise it is true to size, but there is so much volume to the mesh that I feel like I should have sized down. I have to crank the laces tight, and the tongue slips and slides as well.
Overall, this shoe is light and good looking, but that's all I have to say about it. The midsole is really not great, and the exposed EVA on the bottom gets shredded immediately. Unfortunately, in 2020 the Rincon is nothing special.

My first 40-50 miles on these were great, I was really happy, they fit great and though they were light had a good cushion in the sole. After another 40 miles, they have started to feel "flat". The cushioning in the sole feels like it's gone and they are really no more comfortable than my 4 year old running shoes with over 600 miles on them.
I am not a heavy person (6'3" and 190 lbs), so I can't believe that these would wear like this, due to my size.
I really loved these, and was ready to buy another pair for trail running, but now, I think I may be shopping for a replacement for these sooner than I wanted.

Hurt my feet at the arch when I was running. Took a while to break in and now the base is shredding.
