I always buy 7.5 men at HOKA and it works, but Stinson didn't work for me, I have to return.

They hurt my feet after being on them more than an hour. I had this shoe before and it was great. Not so much this time. I'll be trusting them.

I love Hoka shoes but the experience buying these online was disappointment. One shoe was completely manufactured incorrectly. This was a gift that made the experience worse.

I used the "what size to order" feature on the HOKA product website. In the Bondi series (I have 4 pair)- - I always order size 11.5 W. That is what the "what size to order" feature told me to order for the Stinson ATR 6. That info was way wrong. I could hardly get the shoe on and definitely never wear them.... so I had to send them back..... and pay $10.00 for the original shipping.

I used their size approximation using my brooks sneakers. Their recommended size was too small and too tight had to return. Also the softness of foam not hood for back.

I have several pairs of Hoka's but these I cannot wear anymore as the heal failed and digs into my foot.

Wow these didn't even last one year before they broke down so much that they hurt my feet. Don't buy them unless you like throwing money away!

The foam pad on the right foot behind the heel was much thicker than the one on the left, by about 3 times apparently a quality control problem. I had to return as it was impossible to put my right foot in without feeling squeezed by that unbelievably thick pad.

I have been a loyal Hoka customer for years. Unfortunately I have to start shopping again as the quality of their shoes has consistently degraded. Most recently I bought a pair of Stinsons for my Camino. After 400k the cushioning has become supple and provides no support and the tread has almost worn through. A two month old pair of shoes look like a ten year old pair. When I inquired about the warranty they suggest I bring the shoes back to the US as they could not (would not) ship them back to my home address after shipping them from Spain. Disappointed in how quickly quality fell once this brand became recognized for what was once a great shoe.

Unless this is a freak pair, the toe box is apparently now narrower. I've had several pairs of Stinsons that all fit my foot great. Not this last pair. I'll probably go back to NB for trail shoes and return this pair. I would not recommend these to a friend if they need a wide toe box.

The fit is not wide enough for my feet. I bought 2 pairs in the HOKA Goleta store. The first pair (Clifton 9.5 2E) I walked and jogged and my left side of foot turned very red. I use now only for show; short time periods; no walking. The second pair (Bondi) I bought back to store; at the store I ordered a third pair (Stinson). After waiting almost 4 weeks, I contacted a rep who confirmed no shipment and offered to send another pair using expedited mode. After almost 2 weeks, I contracted a rep who said the order process for the expedited shipment was never completed. She offered to reorder the reorder; I declined. I was advised to try a different lacing method on my first pair (Clifton) I had to keep.

I walk 7-9 miles a day and generally go through a pair of shoes a qtr. I purchased these shoes in the hopes of reliving some of the hot spots on my feet. The third time I walked in these shoes I noticed that something was not right with the shoes. I the bottom of the shoe was getting warn away after only 21 miles....Holy Cow. I am so disappointed with these shoes. I can purchase a lot of cheap shoes for what I paid for this pair, and they will last three months.

This ATR 6 is trying to be a version of the Bondi 7 but failed. Why not try to be a Stinson ATR 6?

I wanted to love these shoes, and they feel great on my feet; however, after giving them a thorough trial period, they are terrible. The problem is the soles, which are almost comically slick and offer zero grip. This is not an exaggeration. Your feet will slip from underneath you on a concrete sidewalk, nevermind a trail. A complete waste of money. Please avoid!

As a trail runner in Rockslyvania PA, I need all the plushness available. The original Stinsons were a dream, perfect upper paired with a thick mattress sole. Comfort was the goal. It was wonderful. Since Decker purchased Hoka, the focus now seems to be on competition models, style, and making the shoes as light as possible. Sadly, that means the cushioning has been sacrificed. For Stinson 6, while there is adequate cushioning in the heel, there is no cushioning in the forefoot. While I could wear earlier models for long runs, the Stinson 6 is only good for under 10 miles. For fit, I should say that I'm a Women's 8 1/2 but I need to wear the Men's 7 1/2 (the women's model is way too narrow). Thankfully they fixed the tongue and lowered the ankle collar from Stinson 5 (which I found unwearable). The upper seems pretty thin, so I'm not sure of its durability. If you loved the original chunky cushiony Stinson, I would not recommend this shoe.

Based on the recommendations from HOKA on fit, I made this purchase. Excited for it to come in, my husband was disappointed. This shoe not only runs small but it also runs very narrow. Although this shoe was available in a wider width, HOKA did not recommend this shoe in wide based on other shoes worn.

The design put too much pressure on the ball of my feet, which caused my toes to tingle.

Feels like walking on a tennis ball. Color definitely, did not match the pictures on the web. Navy blue is a better description, every picture appears purple.
