The shoe I just received is the same size as I had purchased prior. The shoe is more narrow and shorter. I realize there are different welds for different shoe models but a big difference.

Not the most comfortable pair of The Hoka family. Style was great. Just not a good fit for my running style.

Really wanted to love this shoe. Love the style/color. Am on my 2nd pair of Bondi and was hoping the Carbon would feel just a good. However, the heel slipped really badly and couldn't tighten up enough to make a difference. Sadly, I have to return them.

I usually wear size W7.5 for the long days in the operating room department. Somehow, the unisex sizing is too big for mevery disappointing, as the smaller size is no longer available.

I have wide foot 2E size 10US men. This only comes in regular. I ordered size 11US men it is one finger large hence shoe doesn't remain fit. I suffer from chronic second toe capsulitis right foot was recommended hoka carbon x by podiatrist.

fantastic shoe. should really offer a wider size tho...not sure how many people have a foot as narrow as is required to have this fit any where near sufficiently.

I had Hokas that would float and were so comfortable. I wore them until they fell apart. The sneakers I just bought are thin soles and not very comfortable. I have tried to get used to them but I'm using other sneakers instead. Beautifully made just not very comfortable.

Super light and I love the fit, I have a wider foot for sure and this is just right. My only complain is the lack of cushion, I have run in Nike's version and I have to say I would go Nike again in a heartbeat.

These shoes were okay but jacked up my feet and legs after 13 miles, need arch support and toe box was too big for me.

I selected these as running shoes to replace some older Bondis. They are light as usual but they aren't as comfortable. I expected to get a much better feel since the cost was materially higher, but that was not the case.

The Carbon X is fantastic! The SPE not so much. I can feel either the plate or where the mid foot splits and it is so uncomfortable to run in. Just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind I took out the lining and sure enough, a line where something was cutting into it. I had to return them. Just save $20 and go back to the regular Carbon X.

I love the color of these shoes, but they are way too big I would size down. Also the insole is not good quality.

The fit and size were okay. They loooked great. But I wore them around the house for about 10 minutes and they were hot. The upper fabric resembles plasic and there is just no ventilation. So although they checked all the other boxes, they must go back.

I love, love, love all of my HOKA's and I always purchase a 9.5 from HOKA, but these seem to run larger than normal. They gave me a huge blister on the side of my foot.

LOVE the way they feel and look but they stretch out immediately way too much. Doesn’t seem like they would based on the material but it’s ridiculous. They fit like they are 1/2 smaller out of the box but if I buy them again I’ll get a 1/2 size smaller than even that. Also the ankle cuff thing gets stretched out which causes heel slip. My feet are normal shape like no high instep or arch or anything.

I'm a big fan of the Women's Carbon X and I thought that a more expensive version (the SPE at $20 more) might provide even more magic. But the fit is just not as good...perhaps a gender neutral shoe accommodating a man's foot as well as a women's just isn't a great idea. Something is lost. And this might not seem important, but they substituted the heel loop you use to quickly tug on your shoe with a short, worthless flap of fabric. It's too small and slips out of your fingers. I gave up trying to use it and now spend more time tugging on my shoes. Won't ever get this model again! (Mine is a man's size 8 and women's size 9.)

Seem to run even more narrow than Nike. Hopefully they stretch out a bit.

I had written a great review but they broke down really fast! the heel has compressed on the inside so my left foot is slanted in and the upper has stretched out significantly. buyer beware but I did really love them!

The shoes are extremely narrow, and there is no give in the upper to make up for it.

First off, let me just say I love these shoes. The color, the fit and just very light to walk in. BUT! After walking in them for just a few minutes it started to feel like the insole of the shoes have a hole in them! On both pairs! The CARBON X-SPE has a very thin removable insole. I tried removing those and walking without the insoles - but the problem was still there. It literally feels like the front side of the shoe from the bottom is disconnected from the rear. And it feels like I'm walking on a hole (shape of a line) that runs horizontally right under the toe area/beginning of the foot's arch! I was very disappointed I had them changed twice, the second time only the left pair was doing that. I tried to reach someone from the design team or at least have a pair inspected before sending them again, was not able to! Very frustrating, at this point I made friends with the people at the USPS store given the amount of times I went in there with the same box! Shoes are defective or just manufactured/designed incorrectly?
