Love cushioning, roomy toe box and color. I usually take a medium, but need a wide in Hokas.

I did my research and I am so glad I landed on the Clinton 7. They are an extremely comfortable running shoe for beginners like me. When my foot strike the ground, I my ankles, shins and knees are secure. I can wear them all day without experiencing any pain in the arch of my foot as with other running shoes I own!

Out of the box perfect fit! No breaking in required at all. I am happily shocked and pleased. I have 66 year old knees and hips and have neuropathy. I want to take long walks!!! I know nothing about walking shoes. I did my research on Zappos for hours at a time for days and days before deciding on Cliftons. I read all the reviews and kept my fingers crossed. I wasn’t disappointed.

These Hoka shoes are the most comfortable shoe I’ve worn in years. I love them and love wearing them every day.

Wearing these shoes is like walking on clouds! They take away all of my foot pain.

I love this shoe but the 7 is not as wide as the 6. I broke my foot and need the added room and comfort when running after the break. I am sad these were not right. The hoka’s are great shoes and so are these just not the right fit for me. If you enjoyed the width in the former shoes these may need to be ordered in a wide.

I've been wearing Hoka Clifton sneakers for several years, and now cannot wear any other brand. They are well-cushioned and exceptionally comfortable, with good arch support. The toe box is fairly wide (so my small toes are not squashed, a frequent problem with other brands), but does not look clunky. The back does not slip off my narrow heels (also a frequent problem with other brands). However, the Clifton 7 is shorter than my Clifton 3 & 4, which I have in my normal shoe size, 6. Zappos told me to get a 6 1/2 in the Clifton 7, and they were right. I tried both the 6 and 6 1/2, and the 6 was too short. The 6 1/2 fits perfectly. I purchased the Black Iris and its beautiful.

Do I spend the money on these and hope they feel great? That was my question. I try to walk 2-4 miles a day. I have a wide foot and have trouble finding something to accommodate. I ordered these in a wide, which fits beautifully. The day the arrived on my doorstep I hesitantly walked 2 miles. Absolutely no issues. I will say, I needed orthotics in these. I have high arches and what little arch support there is was not working. I knew it instantly just from trying them on, slipped my orthotics in them and I'm good to go. Highly recommend, but get yourself some arch support.
