I'm an avid runner and am always looking for a new running shoe to try out. I took the survey online and was matched with the Clifton 7. I have heard good things about Hoka, but from my personal experience these shoes really hurt my feet. Which is weird because I have never had issues with other popular running shoe brands. At first I thought it was because I was breaking in the shoe, but after weeks of walking/running and experiencing pain not sure these are the right shoe for me. I tried the 30 day trial and unfortunately will be sending these back. I recommend trying these on before ordering.

The second shipment has taken more than 2 weeks, 5 calls/chats and had to contact supervisor to get any help. But shoes are good so far.

Not fan of these shoes ! Kind of disappointed as my doctor recommend it but they are not comfortable at all!!!

Makes my knees hurt and somewhat tight mid foot

They are comfortable for a short period of time but not good for work where you are on your feet all day. My legs were aching after all day wearing them.

I have loved the Clifton shoes for years and have invested a small fortune because they were well worth it, but the last two iterations ( the 6 and 7) have moved further and then completely away from the feel, fit, and comfort of the 5. I was so excited to see the beautiful navy Clifton 7 shoe and quickly preordered one pair although I wanted to order one of every exciting color. The only reason I didn't order more was because of the problems I had experienced with the fit, feel, and comfort with the multiple Clifton 6s I ordered at the same time. The Clifton 7 was IMMEDIATELY UNCOMFORTABLE AND TIGHT FITTING in the mid section of my foot. I wore them to work thinking maybe they would feel better the longer I wore them but unfortunately that was not the case. After a couple of hours my feet were killing me and I could barely walk. I had to take them off and wear my oofos for the rest of the day. I was so disappointed and had to return this shoe, which is the first time I've ever returned any Hoka One One shoe. I recently decided to try the Bondi 7 and Rincon 2 and they are both EXCELLENT, and instantly felt comfortable like the Clifton 4s and Clifton 5s did.

I've had 5 pairs of Clifton 6 - they were perfect! Whatever changes were made to the Clifton 7 do not work for me. I walk 3 miles every day and after wearing the Clifton 7, I have foot pain that I haven't had in ages. Bring back the Clifton 6 design!!!!!

Every year is a bit of an adjustment with the Clifton but not this year. The toe is boxy and they're just not as comfortable as the previous years. Also, the high back heel is not as useful as the loop, and the attached inside tongue put uncomfortable pressure on the top of my foot.

Shoes are enormous

I really wanted to love this pillowy show. Within 5minutes of running in it I knew it had to go back. My calves and Achilles locked so tight I could barely walk Nope

It was my third return for the month. What happened with my favorite brand? Did you change designer? I've had four pairs of HOKA snickers before ordered the new one, I wanted like it but there were poor quality and ugly design. Not recommend to buy it .

I need to exchange these. My daughter opened them for her birthday and one shoe was the wrong size.

I have been wearing Clifton's for five years, and the pair of Clifton 7s I purchased are not the same quality or cushion I have loved. I bought the white/navy/gold special edition and I am unsure if it is that specific model but they are flat, hard and unforgiving. I run 3-4 times a week on all kinds of surfaces and this pair is just an anomaly.

They provide great support but give me blisters within 20 minutes of running. Hurts so bad! Very sad about this purchase.

Bondi 6 could not find a grape in 7 wide, so thought I would try the blue. hate the peach trim. sending back. :( Why such ugly colors for women? And, no, not everything has to be pink... think, of colors being dark enough to hide dirt as well...

I walk/run 3-6 miles per day this shoe has no arch support. Plus, the sizing guide led me to order a shoe that is a half size too big. I tried to get used to these shoes, but I just cannot; it feels like I'm wearing clown shoes that force my foot to pronate.

I started wearing the Clifton 4's and loved them. From the minute I put them on my feet my arthritis on the right foot improved and I felt like I was walking on clouds. They didn't last long but that seems to be a common Hoka complaint. They were worth replacing every three months. As time went on the Cliftons were "improved" and got less comfortable. The 7 is the worst yet. I wore them around the house yesterday and am returning today. The rocker bottom seems to have disappeared, there isn't much cushioning for the toe box, the whole top of the shoe feels cheap, etc. They also seemed to be less wide than prior ones. All and all - improvements have made the shoe unwearable.

I just wore these around the house on a number occasions and the leave my feet feeling tired and my back tired. I'm very disappointed. My feet feel like I am breaking in birkenstocks. It's the worst!
