I love the design and the idea of having longer flaps at the back so I can put them on without struggling. I tried getting these in Wide but it's all out of stock, so I thought I'd give the standard a try. It's just not gonna work out. I tried wearing these on a 12 hour shift to break them in for a bit and it wasn't that difficult to do so, It's caused me so much pain on my feet and sadly, I had to give up wearing them. I really wanted them to work out because it's really comfortable when walking, like it feels like your walking on a cloud. I just really need to stick with wides I guess.

Light and fits well. The problem is these shoes are not made for off sidewalk or off pavement walks or jog. A person Cannot go on dirt path because sand goes into the shoes. If you jog on dirt path and by the end of your jog; you will have a teaspoon of dirt or sand in your shoes and socks.

Ever since I had foot surgery in 2017, I have bought and loved the Hoka One Clifton style. Because of their comfort, I am able to walk more than 5 miles per day and keep up my fitness goals in comfort, replacing them with a new pair after about every 500 miles (at least twice a year for the past four years). I made my most recent purchase online directly from Hoka One because they were $30 off, and I figured I wouldn't have to try them on since I've worn the same style and size for 4 years. I even bought 2 pairs because the price was good. I don't know if I just had bad luck, if Hoka changed the design, or if the shoes were on sale because of some defect, but both pairs are horribly uncomfortable. My heels are full of blisters because they slip up and down in the back, and they are destroying my arches, causing extreme pain. One pair squeaks loudly when I walk. This happens sometimes when I take out the sole and replace it with my orthopedic inserts, but I can usually add powder and the squeak goes away but not with this pair. This brand is too expensive not to be comfortable. I'm willing to pay the extra cost if I get a comfortable, reliable shoe of good quality. But this latest purchase failed on all counts. I'm very disappointed.

These felt tighter than my last three pairs of cliftons from the moment I first put them on. Now I'm having pain on the tops of both feet despite having super loose laces!

I have two pairs of HOKA running shoes which I absolutely love. I tried the Clinton7 shoes, put them on, walked around the house and within 5 minutes, my feet were hurting me. Particularly, the ball of my foot or feet. They did not fit my feet. I will still buy another pair of HOKA's just not the above mentioned style.

Got these because they were on sale but there were several reviews warning these cause more feet and heel pain. Some hated it. I liked my other style HOKA's so thought I would try the Clifton. Reviews were accurate. I have an issue with heel pain and these caused more pain. I had leg pain too. After I stopped wearing them I didn't have as much pain so I returned for my go-to's Rincon. Sizing seemed accurate though. I got my standard 11 I always wear and had no problem.

This shoes are so narrow. I would not recommend unless your feet are thin and long.

NOT at all what I expected...lot of hype for nothing based on reviews. It feels like heel sits lower than front of shoe. The platform of the shoe is hard and the removable sole is worthless. I tried adding an insert for Plantar Fasciitis which caused slipping and friction in the heel and walking is stiff. I always wear 9.5 W in tennis shoes. Bought the 9W based on views. Length and toe room was good so I would agree with other viewers that the shoe runs 1/2 size large. Disappointing!

I got "Almond Milk/Bronze" color. The dusty color makes shoes always look dirty unwashed...I should have taken other HOKA signature bright color.

A little disappointed in this shoe. Even thought I ordered a wide the shoe still pretty narrow and is uncomfortable. I've worn them 2 or 3 times now and it already feels as though the padding in the shoe is broken down. I love the Hoka brand and they really are the only gym shoes I wear but this particular pair was not at all what I was hoping for.

I saw that there was a pair of Clifton 7s that we're on Sale. They were pure white and I bought them. Once they arrived I saw there was a large brown stain on the toe with an arrow sticker pointing to the stain. No where during my purchase was I notified there was a defect to the shoe. Luckily I have amazing stain removing skills and I easily got the stain out. It's irritating that they sold me an item that was damaged in some way. Despite that I love the shoes. It is my fourth pair of Hoka One's. I wear them at work as a nurse and everyone always asks about them. I should be a spokesmen because I have led so many people to buy the shoes because I love them so much. Disappointed in their deception.

Love the lightness of the shoe. Great quality. However, I returned them because I have wide feet and your wide shoes are not wide enough. Please consider adding a ww option for men and women's shoes.

I ordered a 9 wide. The width was great but the length was too long. I have high arches and felt no support in these. I also felt like my heels were lower than my toes. The insoles were softer than most shoes I have tried recently so I'm hoping I can find a pair of Hoka's that will work for me.

I found the Clifton 7 very stiff under the midfoot, making the running very uncomfortable. I had the Clifton 6, which worked well for me, so I was disappointed that the 7 was not an upgrade.

I actually love the cushion and feel of these shoes on my heels, but on the ball of my foot I had a lot of issues. First the front width of the shoe was extremely narrow that my big toe was hitting a support bar or something on the inside of the foot when I ran, very painful. I wanted to love them but sent them back.

The shoes were terrible. Cause serious blisters and cuts due to to sharp edge on the interior insole. Customer service was less than helpful.

The length of the shoes are accurate, and they have great cushion. I will say if you overpronate like me, the shoes will not allow at all for this. This is a good thing and bad thing. My knee started hurting after I wore these for a day, and my bunion became horribly inflamed and in general my foot hurt. It has been a couple years since I wore Hoka and was excited to wear another pair. Unfortunately, I recycled the boxes so can't send them back for a refund. Hope this review will be useful to someone who overpronates.

I used Hoka's sizing based on my other tennis shoes and they recommended sizing up from 7.5 to 8. When they arrived they were the correct width, but a full thumb-length too long. Plus, the lack of arch support felt like the wrong fit for me. I returned them and chose not to exchange for another size.

My new Hoka Clifton's replaced my 2 yr old pair - this time I ordered size EE but they feel tighter than than my D's - should have returned them but am trying to make them work by loosening the strings as much as possible. I especially do not like the new tongue stay
