Although these fit well, they aren't offering quite the support I thought Hoka One One's were so touted to give. After walking a few miles, my feet begin to feel a little sore just past the arches toward the toes. I am a little disappointed, especially given the price.

I purchased these shoes for work as a RN. They are extremely comfortable and I get lots of compliments on them but now I have noticed a hole in the fabric above where my big toe sits. I'm very disappointed after spending a good bit of money on these shoes. Overall, they are comfy shoes but not the least bit durable considering the fact I have not run in them once. Roughly, I have had them for about 3 months.

I bought these for running short distances weekly and they have not helped at all with the foot, calf or shin pain I experience. I followed the online quiz and bought one of the suggested pairs, but I do not like them.

I love the Hoka Shoes. This style just ran to narrow so bothered my feet. I return them and got another pair of the Bondi 7. I love these. They are very comfortable for wearing all day when yor on your feet for 8 plus hours. The Clifton 7 were narrower then the Bondi 7 for the exact same size.
i return them and switch to the Bondi 7 with no hassle.

I absolutely loved the Clifton 6 but not the 7. It just didn't work for me. I found myself over-striding and ended up with knee pain. Guessing this model will be loved by many but just didn't cut it for my jogging routine. We're all built differently and sometimes finding a sneaker that truly works can be a challenge. I have found different brands that I loved only to have the company make changes significant enough to throw them off for me. It's a bummer but I just keep trying.

Sorry that these did not work for me. They are very light but not as cushioned as my current running shoes. They fit well except in the heel where they slipped slightly. I used a different lacing method in the top eyelets which reduced the slippage. During my test run, the soles felt and sounded a little tacky/sticky. They might offer a good grip but not sure how it would help running.

I had heard that the Clifton style was very similar to the Bondi so I ordered a pair and tried to like them. After trying them on in the house for a couple weeks they just felt too narrow for my foot as compared to the Bondi style so I returned them and will go back to Bondi which has always felt perfect for my feet!

I hate the redesign. The giant heel thing added irritates the back of my ankle.

Used the "recommended" sizing-too small. Also felt far less cushion.

I love Hokas. Have had many pair. I have all the previous Cliftons, and loved them. I wish i had returned these. I wore them before realizing that i wanted to return. They are not at all as soft as the previous models! My feet actually hurt after I wear them. I so wish I could get the Clifton 6 again!

I've purchased 3 pairs of different styles and the foot bed appears lengthen, insoles that are sized right for older styles have about a quarter inch gap now, what's up with that? Is it qualit control?

I had to return the Clifton 7! The pointy flap in the back of the outside shoe was very irritating and gave me blisters. The Clifton 6 was so much more comfortable! The 7.5 I normally wear felt to snug with the Clifton 7!

The side of my foot starts to hurt after an hour in them. They look cool, but the shoe is not the most comfortable.

I started wearing the clifton around version 4, so i guess i have had three versions of this shoe... i feel that they tweak it every year and usually it is a fairly uneventful change... but this time the toe box is a little odd feeling. i typically wear a 7.5 but have had to go down a half size for both version six and seven. but this time the 1/2 size down feels too tight and the size i usually wear was HUGE. so i guess these are not the shoe for me this year (boo). rambling review, but i hope it is helpful for someone.

This is my 3rd pair - the other 2 fit perfectly, but unfortunately these are definitely more narrow then the others - upon my return I see that they do come in a wide width but not in white - I'm looking around for a different pair now

This is not the same for as the past Clifton models, I will not buy again. I have previously had 3 of these but the sole is not as cushioned and the wide is not a wide. If I can i will return.

I think Hoka had the Clifton 6 in the books. The Clifton 7's noticed that there is alot of slop/foot movement around in the shoe since they got rid of the side stitching and flat slippery laces. Otherwise the shoe would be a star version of the Clifton 6. Many times during my run, I have to stop to re adjust the lacing even with the runner's tie to keep foot secure and free of rolling around in the shoe.

I’m tried and true 8 in walking/running shoe for comfort. I have no extenuating foot “needs” not conditions. These fit too snug in the width and on the heel. Love the style and colors, but see blisters and discomfort in my future if I don’t size up a 1/2 size. I’ll report back once I get my exchange made.

Hoka! What happened?! Clifton 5s were so cushiony and comfortable, like walking on clouds, now this...? Clifton 7 is like walking on any other hard, flat, non-cushiony sneaker (don't be fooled by the height/thickness of heel/sole). Significant reduction in quality and comfort! Don't waste your money on this version. Instead, for cushiony, foot/knee/hip comfort, buy earlier versions of Clifton (5, in particular) or get the Bondi style, 5 or 6 (can't vouch for more recent versions yet).
I'd also recommend:
Hoka, earlier versions before they reduced their quality

I like the color unfortunately the left shoe
is rubbing up against my ankle. My ankle hurts too much to keep them.

I normally wear an 8. I have large bunions and am always keen to try a running shoe with wide toe box. These were way too long. I have returned them and have ordered a 7.5.

I found this shoe ran a size big. Very comfortable though but I found it didn't have enough heel support for me. When standing up straight I felt like I was tipping back on my heels. Great return policy and definitely worth giving them a try with free returns!

I put 35+miles a week in, and these shoes hurt as soon as I put them on, so I can’t wear them. Ive tried several short runs, but no can do. Going back to my Bondis. It may just be the shape of my foot, but it feels tight before I even tie them, so maybe my feet aren’t as narrow as I thought.
