I stand on my feet all day in the medical field. Everyone in the clinic recommended the hoka walking shoes. Everybody raive about them. I decided to take a chance. I bought the Clifton 7 and couldn't wait to get them. I received them fast within three days. But, then put them on and walked on the carpet and on the floor and they started squeaking. Sorry, I had to return them. I will try one more time to find the wright walking shoes.

I train for marathons so I really need shoes that accommodate wide feet and higher arches. The Clifton by far has been the best shoe for that. It’s lighter than most running shoes that come in wide sizes and they fit true to size. Typically I get a half size larger to accommodate swelling in feet and widths needs that happens with longer mileage runs. But I’m able to wear my true size in these because the width and toe box are legit.

I love the shoe and the color, but the shoe squeaks when I walk. No sneaking up on my husband ?. I have the same shoe in black and no squeak.

In other shoes I wear a 9, but a 10 was the right size for these, wearing a fairly thick running sock (Thorlo).

Feel narrow

I ordered my usual size 8. They fit well. I have fairly low arches. There was an annoying feeling on my inner arch of the right foot - like two pieces of shoe fabric are sewn together at that point with the seam creating a sort of low bump. I don't feel it on the left foot. I had to return a a pair of ASICS for the same issue. Otherwise, shoe is very comfortable and great looking.

I loved the comfort of these shoes. I wore them on the plane from CO to CA and back and during all the walking we did while there. The shoes were so comfortable and supportive, and I used my own Superfeet orthotic with them that fit right in after taking out the shoes removable one. My only issue, and the reason for 4 stars is these shoes seemed long in the toe area, or longer than any other of my shoes and occasionally walking I’d catch my toe on the ground from not lifting my foot up high enough I guess. Otherwise, I loved these shoes for the comfort and ability to walk long distances and thought about another pair in another color, but I don’t want to deal with the long toe box again, so I’m looking at a different shoe style in Hokas. I love Hoka’s and love this style for their comfort, but don’t love the longer toe box.
