Transitioned to Clifton 7s after the 6s. They feel plush, light, and very comfortable out of the box. They feel great for both short and longer runs. I've had shin splint issues come roaring back in the past when I've switched shoes, so I'm a careful running shoe purchaser, so I'm thrilled not to be having those problems since I got these. I saw some others' criticisms, so I hesitated but am glad I got them. Only thing is that wearing them seem not to have alleviated the callous/blister issues that I was developing in my 6s. The colorways I preferred were sold out by the time I purchased, so I ended up with a color I wouldn't ordinarily choose, but I actually like it.

Although the sneaker is nice looking overall I found them to uncomfortable. The inner sole was very hard and not comfortable. I liked the high heel and snug heel feel but also felt sliding which made it feel like the material stretched as you wore them.

I walk in these shoes, 3-5 miles daily. They are well padded and quite comfortable, providing good support. One star off for "curb appeal." My already ample size 8 foot looks even bigger! The main goal for me is support and comfort however, and these shoes are great for that.

Not as much cushioning as Bondi 6 (which I had been told) so clifton is comfortable, but for longer time walking or standing would prefer Bondi.

I bought these shoes because I have turf toe. I’m not able to do my normal 3.5 mile morning walk, but wearing these shoes allow me to do at least 1 - 1.5 miles before my toe starts hurting. The shoe feels good on the foot without turf toe with the exception that I put more pressure on it to compensate for the hurting foot. If there is any complaint, it would be the shoe tongue gets a little uncomfortable. That could be because I’m so used to wearing Skechers slip on.

These are supportive and comfortable, I really just walk dogs in them, but I need a supportive shoe. A bit soft for my liking and not as much arch support as my Clifton 5s, I had to add an orthotic to these, where as the 5s were really, perfect. I'm sad that the old versions don't stick around. Love the bright coral color, but otherwise they are serviceable, but I don't like them as well as the 5s. Thought I would hate the floppy pull tab at the heel vs the loop that you can pull with a finger (no gripping required) but it's not as hard for me to pull up as I feared it would be. I'd still prefer a loop, if you're interested.

I work and walk the walking track in these shoes! They are awesome! The comfort really helps my heal spurs! I highly recommend these!

Nice, light shoes that fit my insoles. They only negative thing I've noticed so far is that they squeak on my wood floors.

I love it that Clifton 7 has inner straps to keep the tongue from slipping to one side. That was a needed change. BUT...the inner elastic straps don't work well for feet with high insteps. If I take the string out completely, the shoe is still tight enough to run. Tight enough that it eventually makes a sore spot on the bone under the strap. I have bought 3 pair of these, so I really do a lot of mileage and love the Clifton. But I have to cut/modify the inside strap.

Use these for casual running. My dad has been a big fan of Hoka from the beginning, and it's time for new shoes so I thought I'd give these a try. The color (hot coral) was a big draw for me, and I read somewhere that the Cliftons are sort of a "gateway" shoe for Hoka for newcomers. The cushion is like nothing I've ever had (ran in Newtons for the past 7 years), and so far I love it. My only complaint so far is that they're a bit hot on my feet despite good mesh on the uppers. I've tried thin and thick socks and still have the same issue. Part of the issue might also be that it's summer and the weather is getting warmer too. Overall, love them so far!

Love these, but they do run big. I ordered a different pair of Hoka in 7.5 and they fit, but these run big. I'm not sure whether to order a whole size down or a half because I need more room around my toes. I'll probably go down a half size knowing they'll still be a tiny bit big.

Great but not exactly what I was expecting. The shoes do not seem as cushiony as my previous ones.

I loved my Clifton 6 shoes I needed another pair so ordered the Clifton 7. I think the heals don't fit as well as the 6 version. I hate when my heals go up and down. I've tied it in the last holes around the ankle. I guess this will have to do.

I've loved Hokas for quite a few years now and have tried many models. The Clifton have been my favorites by far. After having knee surgery and getting back on the road running would have been very difficult without these shoes. I overpronate on my left and these have provided the cushion and support I've needed to recover and get back into running. I will say the 7s have a tiny bit less support than the 1s which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars but it's still one of my all time favorites... 1 is the top.

I really like these shoes, though they seem a little narrow for a "wide" shoe. The cushion and support are perfect.

This is my third pair of Cliftons. And I love them EXCEPT with the 7, the strap at the back of the shoe to help pull the shoe on was eliminated. This may seem like a small thing, but I have a fused ankle. I used the strap to pull on the shoe.
