I purchased these for nursing school. I saw a lot of nurses on TikTok recommend these shoes but they just did not work for me. I do own a pair of transporters that I love so I had high expectations. The tongue of the shoe is just weird. It rubs and was so painful. I thought the shoes needed to be broken in, or maybe I had the wrong socks, but nothing I did made these feel any better or less painful. There is no way I could have worn them at an actual clinical let alone a 12 hour shift.

I had high hopes for these. My first pair of Hokas were Clifton 9’s, so I thought these might be even better. Nope!! The tongue of the shoes is too short so it rubs and digs right into your inner ankle. I took my shoes off after working 8 hours on my feet and there were red marks and severe indentations from the tongue digging in. I will be returning in the morning, ridiculous!!

Ive been a server for 23 years and have been having bad foot pain lately so I decided to shell out the money for HOKAS. I don't know who designed this shoe, but they've never worn shoes before and certainly not to work on your feet in. The tongue of this show is too short, so it digs right into your ankle. What makes matters worse is that they put a piece of leather that says HOKA right on the tongue near the ankle which makes the short tongue that digs into your ankle all the more uncomfortable. Its like a torture device. Lol. Anyone who works on their feet for 8+ hours is going to experience some swelling in their ankle after a time. No one wants a leather insignia covered tongue jabbing into their ankle. Other HOKA sneakers don't have a shortened tongue so why they would shorten the tongue on this and add a leather piece to ensure it jabbed into your ankle is beyond me. Secondly, this shoe has no arch support, it's all plush, so my arches were killing me two hours into my shift. Epic fail for a work shoe. I thought for this price and with HOKA's reputation this would be the one shoe to rule them all but it was an epic fail.

These are the worst, most uncomfortable shoes! I'm trying to exchange them, bit hoka is saying these are unavailable for exchange!? It is less than 30 days! I'm supposed to have 60! DO NOT ORDER THESE STUPID EXPENSIVE HORRIBLE SHOES!

I liked that they are cleanable/somewhat waterproof, but they hurt so bad. My feet kill after wearing them for only an hour. I initially purchased them to wear for my nursing clinicals. I decided to wear them before starting to "loosen" them a bit. I wore them to my restaurant job and I had to go change them in middle of my shift to my old reeboks. I really wanted to like them, but they aren't for me. Worst part is I can't even return them since I am past the 30 days and I bought from another retailer.

I was told that these shoes were the best for working at Walmart. I was so excited to try them. I found that the toe box was too roomy and the area around my mid foot was too narrow. I have flat feet and the arches of the shoes gave my feet blisters where my arches should be. Very uncomfortable.

The tongue extends past the ankle opening and is as stiff as the support choking my ankle despite attempting loose lacing. After a half a day's wear, I have tenderness along the sole of both feet at the ball & heel, with swelling and bruising around the front top of my foot/ankle.
While the heel and arch were snug to my foot, the front was exceedingly wide & loose. I do have a narrow foot, and high/tall arch so it seems this is simply not the brand for me.

I bought these for work but after 4months I started noticing my thighs/calfs hurting(yes both sides). Then within a week I developed sciatic nerve pain. I have my first chiropractor appointment tomorrow. I did not know it was caused from shoes but spoke with a coworker about issue and she states she stopped wearing them after developing the same issue. Her too within 4-5months of wearing them.

I owned a pair of these shoes in Black but when they released the new colors I was so freaking excited!! I wear my work shoes 7days a week and have owned my black pair for almost a year and they have held up amazingly!!! Even through a few washes! Now I sit here today devastated bc I washed my new pink ones and the pink came off!!! I haven't even owned them a month but got some food on them so I needed to clean them!!! I love my shoes and my first pair are still in amazing condition but I'm super upset with my new ones.

I received a gift card and was excited to use it. Sadly, I will never recommend Hoka and don't ever plan on stepping foot in another store again. It took me three times to find a shoe that I thought would work. They never had my size in the store. when I bought online and had to exchange them, they forced me to receive a gift card for the balance, which was actually on my debit card. The South Coast Plaza location has the most horrible return policy. After three months of back-and-forth, I finally had a shoe. Lil did I know that they would be the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever used. They destroyed my feet and gave me inflamed ankles from the pressure points of the shoe! What an awful experience! And while I might be able to return them again, I have no desire to deal with this company so I'd rather just take it as a loss. Of all the times I was in that store there was only one girl that gave me good CustomerService!

Bondi is a classic HOKA shoe. I wanted a white leather version for casual dressing. This leather version is too stiff and restricting. AND the white leather version is NOT entirely white - it has shades of gray.
BEWARE - buyer must pay for return shipping under the 30 day return policy. I think I am going back to ASICS. I am disappointed with HOKA.

This Bondi fit has changed from the Bondi I purchased years ago and still wear for work.
This Bondi comes up much higher around my ankles and is not as comfortable. I will have to put an insert to raise my foot so not as to experience rubbing around my ankles. I'm very disappointed that the fit has changed. I also wish the HOKA name was not put on the outside of the shoe. My airlines uniform standards don't allow for visible label on shoes worn, hopefully my pant legs will cover the HOKA imprint.

I was very excited to buy my Hoka shoes. I was terribly disappointed because in less than four hours I couldn't stand the pain I had on the sole of my right foot. Unfortunately I had to return them.

I'm a surgical tech and I was hearing great things about Hokas, I struggle with plantar fasciitis and I tried them out they felt horrible I couldn't even last a whole shift with them on I was in so much pain that my ankles and my knees were in so much pain.

I was so excited to receive these but was immediately deeply disappointed. I don't know if someone on the Hoka team maybe has a color processing issue but the white is actually not white at all.. it's straight up blue. It's so blue. And the white shoelaces just make it look even more blue. Sad that I'll have to return these because otherwise they seem great but I don't like wearing colored shoes.

The first pair was not correct, I wanted the Plush insert. Sent them back and reordered what I thought was the correct shoe. The 2nd pair is exactly like the first!!! The VERY FIRST pair I bought was like walking on clouds!!! These are like being bare foot on cement!!!!!! I will no longer purchase your shoes. Am so very very disappointed. Not to mention the fact that I HATE SHOPPING ON LINE FOR SHOES!!!!!!!! You need to have more selections in stores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited to get these for work in the service industry, as they are supposed to be so comfortable AND they have the non-slip?? Sign me up! They are unfortunately SO uncomfortable. I have tried on other hokas in the past and they are like a cloud, but these are rock hard. My feet are so uncomfortable by the end of the shift. Wanted to get a nice new pair of work shoes as I was due for some new ones, and thought I'd invest in these. For the price, I don't find these worth it, and I think I have to return them. I had such high hopes, but they are just so uncomfortable I'm not super picky with shoes, and can pretty much adjust to anything, but having a difficult time adjusting to these. Good non-slip though and the leather is easy to clean, hopefully others enjoy these, they just aren't for me :)
