These are my go to workout shoes, beyond just running. They are comfortable, super lightweight, and they look cool. Please continue to make these shoes for years to come - and maybe consider some bold and funky colors?

This is my second pair of Altra Escalante 2.5 running shoes because they are the best. I love the zero drop and they're incredibly lightweight. I only wish there were more colors/combinations!

I'm an ultrarunner who runs 250-300 miles a month on the road and Altra escalantes are the only road running shoe I wear. They provide the space for my toes and support under my feet that fuels my runs.

I use the escalante for long walks multiple times a day and for jogging. They are super comfortable and I love the toe freedom. My toes are free to stretch out. I will not wear any other shoe because no other shoe has a wide toe box. I bought a pair for me and my teen daughter who loves them as well.

Wonderful shoe! Very comfortable from the moment I put them on. Haven't found a really comfortable shoe since my Torin 2. I'm sure I will be back for a second pair. Love the color. It called pink but it's a fine neutral. To me theyre the color of beach sand with a faint pinky beige tint. Such a nice change from the same blue, black, etc. these are keepers!!

I have been looking for shoes that are not extra wide, but have a roomy toe box for a while now, and these are the perfect pair. My toes aren't cramped at all and can spread out for during my runs. I've bought a few pairs of shoes from other brands over the past couple of years but these are finally exactly what I've been looking for.

I bought these a couple years ago after being done with extreme foot pain with my regular shoes. Foot shaped is the only way I will go from now on. The shoes are just slightly different from my first pair but only to the logo and the color of the foot design on the sole. Not complaining just an observation. I even convinced my husband to get a pair and he loves them too!

This is my second pair of Escalante 2.5 shoes. I walk almost daily in my hilly neighborhood and nearby city park. The shoes are extremely comfortable. I have Lone Peak shoes for hiking on the Appalachian Trail or other like areas, but my walking shoes are Escalante 2.5 !

I've been looking at these for a long time but my size was always sold out. My bf bought them for me for Xmas! I'm so excited for the gym Monday!

I have plantar fasciitis. Wearing these shoes is the only pain free way I am getting better having therapy now but will always wear these shoes so it doesn't happen again.

It seems when I am in airports I see shoes ... on other people ... that I like. So, that is how I got my referral ... by asking a stranger. I LOVE the width in the toe area. So comfortable.

Wonderfully comfortable lightweight shoe. My fourth pair of Altras. Love 'em all from my hiking boots to this pair of kick around town shoes. Always a great fit! Happy feet!

I have plantar fasciitis and at this point these shoes are making it possible for me to walk with a minimum of pain. I am so grateful.

I love these shoes and immediately ordered a second pair. They are comfortable and I am able to walk and work in them all day.

My go to shoe! I think I'm on my 5th or 6th pair...I've lost count. I love everything about them( comfortable, lots of room for my feet to expand and I can get about 400 miles in before needing new ones) I've ran in many brands over the years and Altra is by far the best I've tried.

The Escalante shoe is the only shoe I wear in a 10.5 which fits perfectly. I have back issues and these shoes keep me feeling good because they are flat with a wide toe box. I searched and searched for the right shoe and have been wearing the Escalante for years now. We have horses and I wear the shoes to clean the stalls, go for dog walks over rocky terrain, bicycle, and for yard work. I actually have two pairs. I wear one pair at home and have the other pair for going to town. Sadly, they eventually wear out and I know because my feet hurt. Fortunately, I can order another pair. The go to town pair becomes my everyday pair and the new pair becomes the go to town pair. I am very grateful to Altra for making this shoe.

Because these shoes are made with soft material and have no seams in the toe area, I was able to put them on and experience immediate comfort. I didn't have to do the usual of wear time before having the shoe mold to my feet and give that comfort. Plus, the Escalante gives good support, offers great toe room and performs well with jogging and walking. You can't find a shoe that meets all needs of imperfect foot as does the Escalante. I'll try not to buy a pair in every color!

I love this shoe, it is actually my fourth, and just bought this one to use next, it is safely inside its the box. This model is wide enough in the toe box so toes are not squished and perfect with my arch supports inside. I run trails about 3 to 4 times a week 3 to 5 miles each. Great shoe and holds up well.

I was recommended this brand by my sport podiatrist because of issues I was having. They are incredibly comfortable straight from the box. I wore them day 1 for a strength workout then walking 4 miles after. No pain, no rubbing, no blisters! Lots of cushion and support. I will definitely be buying another pair!

Very hard to find zero drop shoes. I wore NB minimus for years, but they have changed the model. I was turned onto these and love them. The cushioning is a new thing for me but easy to adjust to. I have heard to order up in size but I did not and found them true to size. I also saw a few reviews where people were experiencing friction on the big toe. I did not experience that, but I wear socks, so maybe that's the difference.
