I wear these as outer layers in the south and as a mid layer when skiing.

#sweepstakes. Unbelievably warm for the lightweight material. I wore this as a base layer under a light wind-breaker/rain gear and was warm in 50 F with 50-60 MPH winds. Great temperature regulation I was warm while sitting and not too hot while moving around.

This technical garment is the comfiest and functional base layer I've owned. I find myself taking it on everything from biking trips to casual everyday wear. 6'0ft M fits great. #sweepstakes

My favorite shirt for every activity. I usually wear this from fall to spring. As a truck driver this top shines every day across many places elevations and different weather conditions.

You can't have enough of these- breathable but warm & dry in cool weather, outstanding base/mid-layer for cold / wet weather.

Under a loose wind jacket but over a dry-fit shirt, and under a ski jacket, as a base+ layer. Just wore it for the first time on a ski trip in Vermont. not exceptionally cold out, and it kept me dry, meaning it wicked a fair amount of sweat. Did not budge from my ski pants, and never rode up in the back. Now, it's a bit tighter than the SW active 1/4 zip that I also have. I'm not exactly fat, but if you have a belly, this will hug it nicely, so it's not for the vain. That's why I say - good base layer.

I thought this product would fit tight like a classic thermal shirt. However, even when ordering my normal size, it still fits loose. I am not confident in fitting a sweatshirt over it comfortably. I am 5'11" and 200 pounds with body fat % of 12-13. So this should give you my general proportions. I thought this would fit tighter and sad it didn't, but it is a great layer for warmth as well as showed no pilling after a few rock scrambles and a thorn bush!

My husband is a paraplegic who does not have the ability to regulate his temperature. He wears this 1/4 zip in the house as well as when he participates in outdoor activities. He has stayed warm even when he goes out in the winter for adaptive sports like skiing. I was disappointed when the thumb hole was discontinued.

The material is super comfy, but this product is definitely more of a sweater than a base layer. The sizing is also much more roomy than the All-Season. I am 6' 165lb. and love the fit of the Large All-Season. I wish I would have bought Medium in the Classic Thermal since the Large is baggier
