Very comfortable, warm. Soft and not itchy. I only wore it once and there is a small surface snag.

This is a great layering piece as it is lightweight, not bulky, and keeps me warm not hot. Good quailty wool. It's been so cold that I've been wearing it routinely since it arrived. Definately worth it!

This shirt is wonderful for warmth and still looks good. In fact, I liked it so much I purchased a second one right away.

I am a biologist who works on boats in cold weather. The level of comfort and warmth is unparalleled. This is a staple piece of my winter wardrobe.

I wear this shirt shopping, lunch, church, around the house, and casual outings with friends. I wear this under my wool sweaters when watching my granddaughter ski. It's a beautiful, warm, and comfortable.

These are my favorite thermals (top and bottom). I like them over other brands as it's buttery soft, fits without the bulge. withstand wind better than other brands, and easier to launder than alpaca (which I do love).

It's hard to find well made clothes these days but I can tell this top will last for a long time! I bought it for my mom to go to Alberta in January so hoping it will keep her warm!

my wife is a hard person to buy for, and I've been enjoying Smartwool so much for biking that I decided to give her some for Christmas. She likes it's so much that she bought a couple more for herself and wears them every day. Winter in the Pacific Northwest requires a warm layer against the skin and this stuff is the best there is. I'm totally sold on it. It's worth the price

I'm 5'6" and weight 119 lbs (for a fact). I wear a Small in base layer tops (for certain- unless it's the Black. The Black base layer tops are cut too tightly- just look at the video of the model wearing them and compare to the other colors, and you'll see what I mean. I tried them once and found that to be true. The Charcoal is truer to size and roomier. So, unless you absolutely NEED the Black, I would just order the Charcoal if you are so inclined for dark colors.) For bottoms though- I find that the Mediums are more comfortable because the waist band is a bit roomier. They do shrink (very nominally) in the first couple of washes (I absolutely do not put them in the dryer, nor do I recommend it), so just order the Medium for the bottom base layer if you want comfort unless you are an absolute 105 lb stick figure.)

It was a gift for a sibling. It doesn't absorb moisture so it keeps them dry and warm. Beautiful design. It's worn as a base layer..

Great quality and very comfortable. Very cute and easy to wear after skiing since it hardly looks like a base layer if you get a solid colour. Very warm, went skiing in weather below -20 degrees Celsius and was comfortable.

It does tend to run a bit small- so be mindful of that when ordering. I love the flower design of the one I ordered and have gotten so many compliments on it. Great for winter running!

Have 7 of the merino base layers in different colors and wear them every day in winter. Comfortable, breathable and easy to wash. They are my favorite!
