I wear them under my motorcycle clothing on those cooler than cool days. Originally, I chose the medium size thinking they'd be perfect, but ended up exchanging for the large. You don't want them fitting too tight to the skin. The wool is soft with no scratchy rough feeling against the skin. Protected well against the cold.

Used as a base layer for my Mossy Oak hunting wear. They hold their form which is very important. A little pricey but worth it.

I wish I bought it sooner. Perfect.

These are great for layering, super soft warm and comfortable. I wear a size 30 waist pants and the small fit is perfect.

I purchased this base layer for my brother who is very special to me. He is an avid downhill skier and very hard to buy for. I was told to try out Smartwool for nice skiing apparel. When he opened the bottom base layer in merino wool the smile on his face was so beautiful. He is well acquainted with your products and was so grateful for the gift. I really hope this qualifies me for the sweepstakes as I am disabled and really couldn't afford the gift to be honest. Honestly, I am so grateful to have found this gift for him that he will use for years.

I love these so much. They're my second pair of 250's because, as much as I could live in them for days at a time, I really need to change them out every so often. For reference, I wear 33 (sometimes 32) x32 and medium fits great

My husband uses these base layers under his street clothes when he works at his job. He is outside all day through cold rain, snow, windy days and these bottoms keep him warm. I have bought other brands that did not hold up as well as these. He likes them so much he asked me to get a pair for my son who also works inside and outside driving a forklift.
