Great fit and comfort, but as with a number of other reviews which seem to no longer be on the site, I have had concerns about long term durability. I bought these to replace a pair of Altamas for long military rucks. THE GOOD: They are a great looking boot, that fit my wide mid-sole, are extremely light and comfortable (a little pinch on the top of the foot when bending down, but may just be because of break-in period). THE NOT SO GOOD: the second day I wore them one of the grommets came out and was just sitting on the lace (see pic). I tried to place back in, but no luck, just keeps popping back out. Not sure if it was just a defective pair (will check warranty), but based on other reviews, this boot may be better suited for show (drill and ceremony) and not the daily work of a military boot.

Great style. Super comfortable, What could go wrong? Well both pairs disintegrated after < 6mos of in garrison office use! Was hoping to break them in sufficiently before I actually used them for tactical purposes this summer, but no way these would make it through actual "work" Super disappointed in this great brand that has saved me in AFG, MOG, and many other places.

I have always worn a 9 in Merrells and these fit very large. Also, I have been wearing these for 3 days and the seams have already split.

Had to write a review due to how awful these are. Wore for 2 weeks (light activity) and already getting tears in the sides of the boots. What is with this quality? This is supposed to be a military product? No thanks.

Bought these boots roughly two months ago. They get constant use due to training. Sides have ripped away, back heel has separated from the boot. The bottom tread "splits" apart from the boot eventually falling away. Lastly the toes have separated from the boot and have been repaired with a adhesive epoxy.

Have not worn outside, and sole of the boot appears to be coming apart from the heel. Used only in pentagon (change into uniform after commuting). Disappointing with this price point- I've always been a Merrell fan.

I have had the boots for 90 days and wore them a total of 3 times. The feel of these boots straight out the box is awesome! They are light and already have a broken in feel to them. The bad part is the quality of the sole. I wore them on a 12 mile ruck (mostly tank/troop trail) on the 3rd time I wore them and after notice the sole had cuts and chunks missing in it. I would recommend these boots if your on staff but if your doing anything else they won't hold up longer than 3 months.

Just received this boot in the mail today and I was underwhelmed to say the least. I have never reviewed any product, but felt I should after receiving this boot to warn others. I opened the boot for the first time and I could see it had clearly been worn before. There was a lot of creasing in the midsole and frayed stitching around the boot. There was also glue marks and I could already see the souls separating from the upper of the shoe in certain spots. Other than objective flaws, subjectively they feel cheap and sloppily put together compared to boots I have owned in the past. I will say the boot is at least comfortable to wear, but I do not believe it is worth the price considering the weak structure for a boot intended to be used for more extreme terrain and activities. Do not take this review and come to the conclusion this is a terrible boot, I encourage everyone to do their own research on the product and brand before purchasing anything, thanks.
