These boots fit perfectly for my husband. Its hard to find shoes or boots in a wide width. Arch support was great. He is a diabetic and problems with his feet but his feet were still feeling good after wearing these boots all day. Especially on concrete floors.

Super wide toe box, which is what I needed. The boot just keeps me gliding on this deployment. If you have wide flat feet like me, and need some boots to run around in, look no further.

I bought these boots 2 days before Special forced selection. I soaked them in hot water for 15 minutes and walked half a mile in them to break them in. Then I went to selection with them and I never had a single issue and not a single blister on my feet. Best boots I've ever owned!

I've worn these boots for a month now. Did not have to break them in. They came ready to go straight out of the box. True to size in my opinion. I sometimes will get a wide fit but didn't need it for this boot. They work good on multiple surfaces. Haven't tried them on wet hard services yet. I use them for city and wilderness walks and hikes and they're good on both. So far they're 5/5 stars.

These are the most comfortable and versatile tactical's I've ever owned. When I put them on I don't want to take them off. Quality materials and knowing Merrell is a leader in footwear's keeps me confident in turning to them for my next boot purchase!

I've only had them a couple of weeks but they fit great and so far are wearing well. I've had several pairs of Merrell sneakers and hiking boots/shoes over the years and these boots as well my sneakers and hiking boots fit and feel great from day one. They never need a break-in period.

Being that most the people buying this will be in it for uniform and operating purposes I am reviewing it from that standpoint. Fashion police piss off.
I normally wear 12-12.5 pending on the brand. After 15 years in the US Infantry in a mountain warfare unit I have developed a bunion on one of my feet that will in time likely be able to bottom out a Ferrari. That said, I try and buy wider boots. I got a 12W and these are perfect lengthwise and are just making contact on either side of my feet, with no pressure. I haven't done any 12 mile rucks recently in them but I anticipate my feet fairing well as they have little to no breaking in. They are extremely light and have a mesh material on the tongues which I know will help with their drying off. Out of the box they're lighter than my worn Garmonts. Zappos should ask me to follow up in a year.

I have worn and destroyed multiple boots both in garrison and OCONUS. These are amazing boots. This is the only boots that I would suggest for both training and field.
The stitching is strong and holds up great. the soul of the boot holds up great, and the grip is the best I've had.
the boot is great for Rucking, breaths very well and plenty of cushion. Very easy to get on and off. Plus the 550 cord lases hold up great.

I have a Morton's neuroma between the smaller toes in one foot, brought on by many years of biking riding. Hiking long distances can be very painful. The Tacitcal boot, purchased in a full size over, has been a surprising success. I went for a 34 mile, 7000' climbing backpack and peak climb trip in the Sierra's. Had I worn my other boots, 1 year old, the pain would have been intense on the rock scrambles and the long descents. The Merrell, not broken in, was a real surprise. The nerve issue was almost unnoticed. Additionally heal blisters, and toe blisters did not appear. The heel in particular was very stable. The boot is very light weight. I have to replace the soul liner with a custom shape for the arch and the area under the ball of the small toes on the right foot. With that addition the boot far exceeded my expectations.

I love these boots. They fit true to size and the AR h support is perfect. Many days I am on my feet 8 hours or more and I never have back or knee pain with these boots. They are the most comfortable duty boots I have ever worn in 30+ years as a law-enforcement officer.

Bought the boots and walked in a mile before taking them out the next weekend. We did a total of 16 miles of up/ down, rocks, flats a real mix of conditions and had no blisters or issues. So pleased after now having several hundred walking miles on them. Looking forward to my next Merrell shoe purchase.

I had danners and got these as replacements and the difference in comfort was phenomenal! These boots felt like I was wearing tennis shoes but still had all the ankle support needed. Great for rucks or just regular field work. I am 100% satisfied

Got my pair yesterday, 15 June, wore them today to work. Out of the box, they are light, REALLY light. Great Coyote color (saw someone say the color was off, however my pair are GTG). Heel cup is awesome, locked my foot in place. AMAZING ARCH SUPPORT. I have an average arch and have been looking for a boot to keep my feet going. I believe I have found them. The laces are rough feeling, which means upon tying, they lock on to each other. At mid top of the foot, the lacing system really locks the foot down. Was on my feet all day plus a 45 minute drive home and my feet felt great and didn't get hot spots. I wore regular socks.
I am going to mountain warfare in less than a month so the REAL test will be then. I will write more after that course; interested in how these hold up. For now, these are my "dream come true" boots.

I used these for a military school where we ruck ran almost everyday. They were extremely comfortable for that, normal rucks, and runs. The biggest plus was on rainy days, they dried out extremely fast compared to garmonts and rockys with 40 degree weather. The only thing I changed was the insoles. I placed ones from a pair of issued Bellevilles. Otherwise I strongly recommend these boots.

Great boot, comfortable, good quality build, but they are definitely sized BIG. I've taken a 12 M my entire life, but I could've gotten through with a full size smaller. If you're someone who wears double thick socks, they'd be all right, but if you're looking for summer wear and you're wearing single socks, they're big. Really big.
