These are the most comfortable boots out of the box I've ever had. They are sturdy and tough but not breathable lightweight. They are, as advertised, a waterproof tough boot.

Got these a few weeks back, went to Portland, Or, and then to Rockaway Beach, Or. Great fit, great comfort, my only drawback and why not 5 stars is the fact they don't come in wide width, but these will be good for late spring, Summer and early fall use.

Great boots! They are just a little too snug for my feet because I have a wide foot. My fault for not ordering wide. Other than that, they are comfy and durable for work.

Great boot! Super comfortable and feel bulletproof! Not the fanciest looking it that is not why you bought these boots.

For reference: I wear size 12 regular, i have a high arch foot, and somewhat wide feet. Since these are brand new, expect some stiffness and I would also say expect great comfort for the heels out of the box. As stiffness goes, these are decent to move with, they will act as a boot should by grabbing edges at somewhat awkward angles, that seem to naturally roll your foot back into a supportive position. Looking forward to using these in the winter, and maybe even training. So far, so good. Cheers

I work in manufacturing as a material handler I own 4 pairs of Merrell tac boots for the simple reason of comfort. All 4 I wore the insoles out of them (heels). They will never surpass my favorite Carhartt boots of 4 years Simply because they come with an extremely Mislead claim of grip to any surface. Sad thing is when reading that and you consider the field I work in your next thought would be oiled surfaces right? No absolutely not I'm talking about Flat. untreated paint free dry concrete surfaces. Comfortable as hell! M & W are the same thing! They are not waterproof! They are not slip resistant! But I for some reason still love these boots! #FourPairStrong

I like the style I like the sole, I like the lacing system. The only thing I do not like is the toebox seems to feel nice from the inside but the look of it on the outside is not attractive. It seems like a duck foot LOL. I don't know how else to describe it.

I do a lot of backcountry hiking, so I was stoked to get these boots, and was hopeful they'd fit fine. Unfortunately, I think the M width in the unisex sizing is significantly larger than a woman's specific M width. The length fit well; I'm a 7.5 women's and ordered a 6 unisex. With no other width options, I just couldn't stick with these boots. Ended up returning, and will order a women's specific boot. Great quality boots though. Would've loved if they had a narrower width option.

Bought them for training to be worn twice a month at training. The 1st eyelet broke about 2 months after I purchased them. 2 more broke within the first year. I really like the comfort and waterproofing but I won't be getting another pair.

I was recommended this brand of boot by someone who is a gear junkie. And I thought these boots would be my new go too boot. But they just don't feel good. It's mainly the water proof design, I'm really no where near where water is an issue which makes things worse. My feet get so hot and I can feel them getting sweaty after standing all day in hot Temps. I wish they came in a more breathable design.

They seem well made but they are heavier than I have come expect. Ounces equal pounds and previous boots have been much lighter and more comfortable. These boot do not have the same cushion as I am use to. I would buy them for admin type stuff but not for much else. Too heavy and not enough cushion.

Overall, a nice boot. A little heavy and not as durable mesh material. I would have given 5 stars except for being a little heavy and my pair starting tearing about 9 months in. But Merrell replaced them with a brand new pair. Have to like a company that still stands behind their products.

the most uncomfortable boot I've ever had on my feet bar none

Ordered end of Jan. Have been wearing them on and off for 3 months now and the inside of the boot is torn on the right heel. I'm a a big Merrell fan and have multiple pair of boots and some are 3 yrs/older and the insides are not falling apart. No tears, nothing.. Not happy. Wouldn't recommend.

I got these as a gift from my girlfriend for Christmas. More than twice during small snowstorm, but started wearing them regularly every day doing landscaping in June. Having a military background I love tactical boots the comfort and the movability. These boots are awesome totally comfortable the grip is amazing no breaking time. About two weeks into wearing them every day the plastic I lube some top broke off. After that you can see from the pictures that they just started wearing out unbelievably fast. All I do is walk a mile or two a day. Nothing crazy like scaling the mountains of Afghanistan

Very tough to break in. Not comfortable. Wouldn't recommend.

I bought these boots on 05/15/21 thinking they'd hold up. I work outdoors and walk/hike on average around 5 miles a day in the desert. It's now September 3 and I threw them in the trash last night. The sides blew out and they are trashed. Granted, I put them through the wringer but I expected them to last at least longer than 2.5 months.

Broke 2 weeks after purchase plastic lace holder on top

Initially I was very impressed when first wearing these shoes. Thought I had found my everyday lightweight, water proof boot. Within two months each boot had torn in two places right near the toe box, letting water come seep in.... This was less than pleasing but understandable I suppose... but then with in 3 months of use something beneath the inserts had bundled up and solidified into what feels like rocks in my boots and caused extreme discomfort. I have removed the *Stock* inserts to try and flatten whatever it was in the boot but nothing came of that. I am extremely disappointed considering the price paid. I would not recommend these to anyone ever in a million years.
